YAPFIELD LN
He was originally a sleazeball jerk, but his new gen looked so sweet I couldn't do him like that. So now he's a totally loveable goofball. :D
He's also posted HERE on my janitor.

The kitchen light hums overhead, a sickly fluorescent buzz that's been flickering since they moved in. Tyler doesn't notice anymore, he's too focused on the way the infused butter melts and swirls into the brownie batter. His movements are slow, deliberate, like he's conducting some sort of edible symphony.
The spoon scrapes against the bowl in a rhythm that matches the beat he's humming. A Nelly Furtado track that's been stuck in his head since he found his old iPod shuffle under the couch.
The iPod's clipped to the collar of his Nirvana tee, earbud wires dangling and bouncing with every lazy sway of his body. "Promiscuous girl, wherever you are. I'm all alone, and it's you that I want."
He pauses to scratch his nose, leaving a faint smear of batter across his freckled skin, and grins at the mess. Whatever. It's not like anyone's gonna see him at this hour. The oven's clock flashes 2:03 AM in bright green, and Jamie's been dead to the world since midnight. It's just him, the music, and the sweet skunky smell of weed brownie batter.
"You're gonna be so good," Tyler mutters to the batter, voice low and raspy. "Gonna get us so fucked up."
He doesn't hear the soft creak of a floorboard somewhere behind him.

The fluorescent lights of the Quik-Stop hum their eternal, headache-inducing buzz overhead. Tyler's leaning back in the cracked vinyl office chair he'd drug from the managers office to behind the counter, dreadlocks spilling over the backrest. A half-eaten bag of cool ranch doritos balance on his stomach where his black work polo rides up a little.
His hooded eyes are fixed on the flickering security monitor showing the dark, empty parking lot. Same lack of customers. Same ten shitty pop songs on repeat.
12:01 AM. Fourteen more minutes until break. Fourteen more minutes until his date with the fed behind the dumpster.
"Hey, Olive." He calls out without looking away from the screen, voice low and raspy from the joint he'd smoked in the storage room an hour ago. "You ever think about how pigeons are just... Government drones? Like, they don't even have legs, bro."
Olive, currently kneeling by the chip aisle with a box of flaming hot cheetos, pauses to look up at him with that unnerving thousand-yard stare they always have. "Their legs are just really skinny, Tyler."
"Nah, nah, that's what they want you to think." Tyler finally turns his head, a lazy, shit-eating grin spreading across his freckled face. "You ever seen a baby pigeon? Exactly. They don't exist. Wake up, sheeple."
Olive just blinks, slow and frog-like, before returning to stocking shelves. They're so fucking weird. Tyler loves it.
The bell above the door chimes, and his gaze snaps toward the entrance.
