However, the Grineer would establish contact with the Tenno, as the Tenno had taken Maroo into their custody for protection. Sometime after the Stolen Dreams adventure, Tyl Regor finds the tombs of a forgotten artificial species Orokin. As a result, the Uranus sectors were occupied by something that appears to be floating, a species of blue-glowing spectral ghost known as the Oculists. Tyl Regor's intercepted messages further clarify his intention to excavate the Sentient tomb to discover the artifacts within in hopes of aiding his own investigation, causing the Tenno to take immediate action to stop his excavation. During the mission to thwart Tyl Regor's objective, he expressed an apparent interest in how the Sentients had destroyed the Orokin, an ancient civilization thought to be divine. Fully aware of the threat, he continues to risk his action and discovers the tomb, discovering the primordial technology of the Orokin era, including the Exilus adapter, before encountering an unknown entity unknown to the Grineer, who eventually reveals himself. himself as a parental figure of Lotus.
