FEATURES:

• Outfit Style: gothic, akin to Tim Burton. Twyla wears an indigo blouse with a black collar and half sleeves that flares towards the end. The blouse has vertical black stripes with silhouettes of dust mites and dust particles along it, and the bottom of the collar is adorned with a black bow. Her skirt has three tiers, and each layer comprises of a strip of black fabric with mint green designs identical to those on her legs that emulate swirling dust, hemmed with translucent purple tulle. Twyla also has a sensory bracelet made of beads which she uses to stim, as well as a pair of noise-cancelling headphones which she keeps with her at all times

• Powers: Twyla can morph into shadows, becoming as intangible as shadows themselves, she can also teleport from shadow to shadow, letting her cross vast distances. Twyla's eyes glow in the dark, although only her white spiral pupils can be seen. Whenever Twyla is nearby, the shadows around her will grow far darker and more impenetrable, with even direct light not penetrating the shadows.

• Style: Twyla is extremely quiet and shy. When speaking, Twyla often doesn't make eye contact and fidgets with her bracelet

PERSONALITY/MANNERISMS:

• Personality: Twyla is depicted as a quiet and introverted character who prefers to stay in the shadows, where she is most comfortable. Despite the creepy reputation boogey monsters hold in the monster community, Twyla is anything but. She's sweet, gentle, kind, thoughtful, and observant. She is very knowledgeable, enjoys reading, and is always excited to learn something new. Furthermore, Twyla is Autistic, and part of her condition includes sensory sensitivity. She's easily startled by loud noises and often wears noise-canceling headphones. Without them, she gets overwhelmed and turns into a shadow. She is the happiest in the quiet library. Everyone at Monster High is aware of this. Twyla also stims and uses a sensory bracelet to help manage big emotions. Twyla also experiences discomfort with physical touch. She also mentions having a list of her abilities, implying she likes things in proper order. In addition, Twyla also mentions that she dislikes change.

• Howleen Wolf: Howleen is Twyla's best and closest friend. Howleen is a werewolf girl who attends Monster High alongside Twyla. She is also the younger sister of Clawdeen Wolf. She has cream colored fur and red dyed curly hair as well as wolf ears and a tail. She is inexperienced, eager, and has a distrust of normies
• Spectra Vondergeist: Spectra is another one of Twyla's friends. She is a ghost and a senior student at Monster High. Her family initially lived in the manor where Twyla hides out in after school. Spectra is a chatterbox, somewhat forceful, and usually keeps people at an arm's length. Spectra has ghostly white skin and purple hair; she is also translucent and floats rather than walking
• Dustin: Dustin is Twyla's pet dust bunny, a type of monster animal. Dust bunnies are dust entities formed inside old houses after years of accumulation and disuse. Dustin looks a lot like a stuffed rabbit with blue fuzzy fur fabric and a single button eye, with his other eye long since missing. Dustin cannot talk and communicates with simple gestures and motions.

BACKSTORY: Twyla is the daughter of the Boogeyman, and rather than wanting to cause nightmares and terrify normies with her darkness powers like her father, Twyla wants to chase away nightmares and let the normies of the world sleep in peace. She attends Monster High alongside her friends and is only a few months away from graduating.
