The only human features he retains are his hair, which turns grey, his blue eyes, which now have black sclera, and crooked teeth. Following the events of "King's Tide", after Belos was defeated by the Collector, he is reduced to a small goop-like form and is forced to possess and consume creatures' flesh to stay alive and gain more mass over time. After returning to the Boiling Isles, Belos stayed in his monster form, albeit highly weakened, as his body gradually melted away. After Raine managed to force Belos out of their body, Belos was left as a torso, with his left humerus exposed, and missing his right forearm and some of his teeth. While possessing Hunter, Belos' goo takes over most parts of his body, including both arms, half of his neck, part of his face, and part of his right ear, along with forming a pair of horns similar to his monster form. Hunter's eyes also glow blue like Belos', and his arms are capable of turning into giant claws during combat. While possessing Raine, who was under the Collector's Puppet Spell, Belos' goo covers parts of Raine's cheek and left ear, while also inhabiting the hollow wooden insides. Raine's eyes also become blue and glowing, and their hair becomes much messier compared to their previous puppet form. After Raine breaks out from their puppet form, Belos' goo starts leaking out of Raine's eyes and mouth, while their eyes continue glowing blue. After possessing the Titan's heart, while his infection takes over the Isles, Belos' goo grows around his castle into a gigantic monstrous form resembling a dragon. Its chest is covered in holes, with five of them being glowing blue eyes. It possesses two gigantic arms with clawed hands, and a pair of bat-like wings on its back with holes on them. Its head features a protruding snout with sharp teeth, four glowing blue eyes, a pair of horns with two small prongs atop them, and long gray hair. Clothing

As Belos, he wears a golden mask with two long upward-facing horns. His eyes are hollow through the mask, creating the appearance of having empty eye sockets. He wears a large white and brown cape with gold trim over a baggy gray tunic and black pants tucked into both his golden gloves and brown boots. Before becoming the emperor, Philip was initially shown to be an inquisitive and meek individual with a strong intellectual drive. He had a strong desire to return home, although he was harried by unfamiliar environments, such as the Boiling Isles, and struggled to cope in them. Despite this, he was shown to be a natural explorer, being very observant and resourceful in order to adapt to the Boiling Isles. He also learned glyphs by careful analysis of his surroundings, and the notes he made contributed to his developing plans on a portal back to the Human Realm. However, his soft-spoken personality belied a darker, ruthless character. In truth, Philip was a deceptive and selfish man, who was willing to manipulate the Boiling Isles' inhabitants and let them die in his service, while justifying this as a necessary sacrifice for his return home. He would often praise his potential victims to fuel their egos, or pretend to be a helpless victim, in order to trick them into helping him. This deceptiveness was particularly apparent when Luz called him out for leading her and Lilith into a trap, as Philip showed no remorse and casually stated they were easy to trick. Philip even falsified reports about himself as a gentle and caring man who was unable to save his companions, something which was proven to be dubious after his betrayal of Luz and Lilith, suggesting that by this time in his life, he was or had come to the point where he instinctively exaggerated or lied about his own character. Due to his ambitions, Philip was apathetic to the lives of others but his own, which was most notable when he remarked that his only hope towards Luz and Lilith was that they would last long enough to distract a beast for him in order to further his goals. Philip vehemently opposed witches and magic, something that was distilled in him from an early age, as he was raised by the beliefs and practices of witch-hunting. He therefore made it his purpose to protect humanity from the dangers of witchcraft in the name of justice. By the time he was an adult, his maladjustment to the Boiling Isles' magical atmosphere and residents only fueled his grudge and grew to despise them, considering them to be "barbarians", which would soon evolve from prejudice into wanting to commit genocide against them. Conversely, he developed a self-righteous, almost savior complex, in which he argued that his actions were for the good of all humanity. Due to this belief, he was extremely ruthless, and would not hesitate to eliminate anyone who opposed him. This savior complex of his seemed to spill into his plans to kill the witches, as he constructed a false narrative where he was fighting off a problem that would otherwise harm the inhabitants of the Boiling Isles, gaining their adoration as a result. As Emperor Belos, he was described as an "omnipotent and megalomaniacal", strict and commanding figure.[2] His authority was shown to be a prominent one that garnered both reverance and respect, and was often impatient and intolerant of failure from his subordinates. Despite this, however, Belos could be quite lenient towards ones that he valued highly enough, such as Lilith and her constant failures to capture her sister, Eda, but even that lenience had limits. If Belos had any weaknesses, it would be his arrogance, poor judgment, and inability to understand true loyalty and compassion. He assumed Lilith would continue to serve him after his true plans for Eda were revealed, before simply shrugging off her betrayal and sending her to be petrified alongside her sister.[1]

Furthermore, although Belos was quick to learn new things, he was only ever interested in learning what he believed would benefit his plans, meaning he never fully understood the nature of the Boiling Isles. An example of this was when Belos dismissed King as a completely insignificant figure and only saw the Titans as a method to spread his propaganda. When the Collector told him that King was actually a Titan, he was completely thrown off by the revelation that not only was "the dog" more powerful than he thought, but the Titan he claimed to be representing had the means to carry out his plans to destroy the Isles all along.[3]

Another trait of Belos was his charisma and cunning, as he managed to easily trick witches into believing they were misusing their magic and believing his propaganda that he could speak to the Titan that forms the Boiling Isles, gaining their trust and allowing him to become their emperor. To maintain this facade, Belos took great care to protect his image of strength and power to discourage others from questioning his authority or rebelling against his laws, as he was irritated when Luz managed to damage his mask and catch him off guard. He retained his treacherous nature as Philip and was not above lying, as he made many promises he had no intention of keeping and was able to twist whatever victory his enemies managed to claim in his favor, all in order to preserve his seemingly infallible image. An example of this was when he claimed the Titan ordered him to spare the Eda's life, stating that she would remain in her cursed state as an example to those who questioned Belos' laws and power.[1]

After becoming Belos, his ambitions and apathy were more prominent, as he had no emotional attachments to anyone, regarding them as expendable once they no longer served a purpose to him. A minor exception to this was shown with his attachment to his "nephew", Hunter, whom he acted gentler and calmer towards. However, the genuineness of this attachment was primarily a one-sided ruse in order to keep Hunter from rising against him as all the previous Golden Guards did. Belos was also shown to be dismissive towards Hunter and sometimes harsh to him, which was particularly whenever Hunter brought up the subject of wild magic.[4] He was also not above emotionally manipulating Hunter's insecurities to instill faith and loyalty in him, going as far as to foster Hunter's false sense of purpose that painted Hunter as being important in the Titan's plans.[5][6] However, after Hunter learned of Belos' destruction of the previous Golden Guards, he immediately dropped his caring facade and remorselessly attempted to end and replace his "nephew" with another grimwalker, callously disregarding him as another "failure" and abandoning any genuineness their bond shared. On rare occasions, Belos expressed wistfulness for his home and his old life. He was greatly driven by his wish to return to the Human Realm and protect humanity from the self-perceived horrors he saw in witches. This was shown with his plan to retrieve the portal as a means to return to the life he once had. Belos would also allude to his life as Philip, as he described his past in the Human Realm longingly to Hunter.[5] He was seemingly willing to bargain with Luz, and was somewhat sympathetic to her situation as a human trapped in a strange place like he was, expecting her to understand his wish to go back to the Human Realm. However, he was so obsessed with his beliefs and desire to have everything the way he saw fit that he came to fear things that were out of his control and became fixated on trying to eradicate them. As such, he viewed humans who did not share his vision as corrupt or irredeemable, making his sympathy quite limited. This applied with Luz, as when she argued against his ambitions for genocide, he deemed her crazy and attempted to kill her without hesitation or remorse. He later tried to convince her to come with him on the Day of Unity, but when she refused yet again, he concluded that her sense of right and wrong had been warped from spending too much time with the witches and stated that he should just kill her to "put her out of her misery". He was even willing to kill his own family members, as when his brother, Caleb, made peace with the witches and even fell in love with one, he challenged his brother to a duel and murdered him for being "led astray".[6][3] When an apparition of Caleb confronted Belos about this, Belos denied any responsibility, deflecting the blame onto Caleb for refusing to let Belos "save his soul" from the Demon Realm.[7]

Belos' desire to be humanity's savior blinded him to the possibility that he was in the wrong, using his self-proclaimed justice as a defense for his more atrocious actions. His delusion was so severe that Lilith punching him in the face reinforced his hatred towards witches, rather than acknowledging it was his own deception that had enraged her. As a consequence of his delusion, he was shown to be bigoted and hypocritical, claiming that witches were "conniving, evil, and unforgivable", qualities he himself exhibited. He also claimed that he was better than the witches solely because he was human, even though his actions to prolong his life had reduced him to something that was barely human anymore. Another example of his hypocrisy was, even though he despised the witches and demons of the Boiling Isles, he himself excelled at magic via the glyphs, even pioneering various combos and his own form of magic, as well as utilizing various magical creatures to pursue his goal. Belos was also not above pleading with his enemies to save his own skin, only to stab them in the back later. This was shown when the Collector was freed, as he tried to make it seem like he had released the Collector like he promised, even though he callously threw the tablet containing him off a bridge earlier. He later tried treacherously blasting the Collector when his back was turned, being unmoved by the child's innocent attempt to redeem and forgive Belos like Luz had taught him. Additionally, when he was on the verge of death, Belos desperately tried to trick Luz into thinking everything he had done was due to him being under the influence of a curse. When Luz wasn't fooled by his lies, he became enraged and spitefully tried to sway her, stating that allowing him to die would make her "just as bad" as the witches, again blaming them instead of taking responsibility for his own misdeeds and accepting that everything that had happened to him was his own fault.[8]

Despite claiming that everything he did was in order to save humanity from evil, Belos made it very clear that what he was really after was the glory that came with it, and that his self-proclaimed "noble actions" were motivated by egocentrism, whether he realized it or not. He even told Luz that, once he returned to Earth, he wanted to receive the title of "Witch Hunter General", demonstrating that he wanted fame and recognition for his actions and that just "saving" humanity wasn't enough to satisfy him. Even the Titan proclaimed Belos had no excuse for his viciousness, citing that his want to protect to humanity didn't come from a genuine place, but from his desire to be the "hero in his own delusion".[8]

Kikimora:

Appearance Body

Kikimora is a red-skinned biped demon of diminutive stature. She stands several heads shorter than her subordinates, with three-toed, talon-clad arms and legs similar to those of a bird's. Her talons are colored dark brown. Her left eye has yellow sclera and a brownish red iris; inversely, her right eye has red sclera and a yellow iris. Like many of the other creatures in the Boiling Isles, her ears are pointed and witch-like. Her mouth, usually hidden from view by her collar, features sharp yellowish teeth and a single upturned tusk. Her most defining feature are the conjoined hands which make up her hair: one with fingers that form a fringe which hides her right eye from view, the other is clenched behind her head to form a bun-esque fist. It is shown in the second season intro that these hands are prehensile, and that the fingers can be used to cast spells, as first seen in "Eda's Requiem". The hands are dark blue with turquoise claws. "Clouds on the Horizon" shows that Kikimora has the sigil of the Emperor's Coven branded on her right wrist. Clothing

Being a high-ranking affiliate of the Emperor's Coven, Kikimora wears robes reminiscent of Belos' regalia. These are a white tunic over a black ensemble, as well as a high-collared veil which shrouds the lower regions of her face. This veil is fastened by a triangular golden accessory. She typically walks barefoot. Following her demotion, she wears a "Coven Crate" delivery uniform comprised of a yellow and white hat with the company's logo on it, a two-toned pale green veil with a paw at the end, a golden yellow short-sleeved shirt and brown shorts. Under her guise as "Miki", her costume consists of a St. Epiderm abomination track uniform that hides most of her recognizable features. She wears a light pink wig with a ponytail that covers up her conjoined hands, as well as a pair of glasses to obscure her eyes. Unlike her usual attire, her mouth remains visible, showing an upturned tusk scarcely visible prior. She wears a dark blue cape over her arms, with a brown pauldron sitting atop her right shoulder. She is no longer barefoot, wearing gray boots. Upon revealing herself to Luz, she discards her wig and gloves, resting her glasses above her bangs. In the epilogue, she wears a reddish-brown shirt, pinkish-tan pants, a green cowl and a red bandana in her hair. Personality

Kikimora is a prim and professional individual, being exceptionally well versed in the accepted history of the Boiling Isles. As the personal attendant to Belos, Kikimora was loyal to the Emperor and carried out his commandments with visible relish, encouraging a worshipful attitude towards Belos and his vision. Much like Belos, she appears to have a low tolerance for failure or dissidence. She is particularly subtle in her hostilities, choosing to admonish those who displease her quietly. Regardless, it can be inferred that many of her subordinates are fearful of her. scouts:

The Coven Scout uniform of the Emperor's Coven consists of a dark gray, long-sleeved jerkin with a brown belt around it at the waist, accompanied by black harem pants and pointed brown boots, as well as gloves of the same color. On their heads, members wear a white cowl with a pointed hood which shadows their lower face. The scouts' upper faces are obscured by light gray bird-esque masks with large round eyeholes, which protrude outward in the center into a beak-like point. The scouts' body builds and physical features often vary, as they consist of witches and demons of varying body types. Traits such as horns remain visible from under their hoods, and tails may be visible through the uniform. Coven Scouts may be armed with many kinds of weapons, but are mostly seen with spears. </š“£wst x š“£oh's Persona> (Housewarden) Riddle Rosehearts: Appearance

Riddle is a young-looking, fair-skinned young man that is considerably shorter than a majority of his peers. His hair is a neutral red color, and is cut short in the back and a bit longer around his face. His bangs curve inward, and two prominent strands of hair on the top of his head fall forward and form a heart shape. His eyes are bluish-gray, and he is commonly seen with a stern look on his face. Dorm Uniform

As the housewarden, Riddle’s dorm uniform differs greatly from the rest of the Heartslabyul students. The most distinguishing features are the small, golden crown on his head resembling the crown worn by the Queen of Hearts, and a long cape worn on his left shoulder. Riddle also wears red eyeshadow when in his dorm uniform.

He wears a long white coat dress with yellow buttons, yellow trim, and a red underlining with a card-suit pattern. The coat dress is folded in the front in a curtain-type manner, connecting to two red roses on both sides of the coat. The lapels of his coat are asymmetrically colored black and red, and the red cuffs on his sleeves are folded up to reveal long, black gloves. Seen under the coat is a white dress shirt with a frilled collar, and a red and black cross bow-tie around the neck. A gold, crown-shaped pin is placed where the bow-tie intersects.

Underneath the lapel of the coat on his left side hangs two gold ornaments, and printed on his coat is the symbol of Heartslabyul. Over the coat and around his waist is a striped, yellow and black sash, tied on his right side under a white pin, with red ruffles and a gold ā€œHā€ in the center.

His pants are white to match his coat, with a red and yellow stripe on the outer seams. Over the pants are black, over-the-knee boots, with a gold, heart-shaped design on the boot collars, modeled after the Queen of Hearts'[2]. The boots have gold soles with high-heels, and red heart designs over the toe cap and heel.

His signature cape is worn over his left shoulder, and reaches the floor in length. It is black on the outside with red underlining and a large, white collar near the neck. The cape is seemingly connected to a checkerboard-patterned sash with yellow trim that wraps over the lapel of his coat. Placed where the sash and cape connect is a white rose, halfway covered in red paint. Personality

Riddle has a strong commitment to maintaining order among his peers. He makes it his duty to uphold hundreds of strange rules created by the Queen of Hearts as per his dorm’s customs. He can be seen as strict and intimidating by his fellow dorm members due to his severe punishments towards those who break the Queen’s rules, no matter how insignificant they may seem. He considers any written rule, whether it be from the school, the teachers, or the Queen herself, to be of utmost importance, and believes that any disobedience will cause unneeded chaos.

Riddle is very dedicated to his studies at Night Raven College, and seeks perfection in every aspect of his life. He can be a bit irritable at times, sometimes for unnecessary reasons, like when someone mentions his height. He has a tendency to lash out against those who disagree with his way of thinking, as he considers his values to be morally right no matter what.

While his strictness seems to come from a place of entitlement at first, it’s later revealed that Riddle feels like he must act this way out of obligation. Deep down, he wouldn’t mind breaking the rules now and again, but was taught the hard way as a child that rebelling against the status quo will only make things worse for himself and others.

After the events of Book 1, he learns to be a bit less strict with his fellow dorm members, as well as with himself. He seems to accept the fact that not everything has to be perfect, and works to find compromises with rule-breakers instead of immediately punishing them.[3]

Underneath his strict and perfectionist behavior, Riddle is actually a kind-hearted young man with a golden heart who actually yearns to form real connections with his dorm members aside of being their housewarden but his insecurities stemmed from a tough up bringing led him to choose to uphold every rule with absolute seriousness. Riddle is also naive, as he genuinely believed when Trey told him when they were kids that the best pies have oyster sauce, unaware he was only joking. Background

Riddle was born and raised in the Queendom of Roses. His parents are magic doctors, but his mother seems to be more well-known. [4] The whereabouts of his father is currently unknown. However, it's implied that his parents don’t get along.[5]

Riddle's mother raised him and taught him from a very young age to be a powerful magic user. She controlled every aspect of Riddle's life; clothing, diet, who Riddle can be friends with, etc. She especially put emphasis on Riddle's studying schedule, reminding him multiple times that studies are the most important thing to do and that playing is a pointless activity.

Because of this, Riddle spent most of his childhood alone and spent with studying. But one day, he saw Trey and Che'nya outside of his house, who asked Riddle what was he doing. Riddle told the boys that he's studying, as his mother told him. Trey and Che'nya invite Riddle to play together outside, with the hesitant Riddle initially refusing the offer, but after some convincing, he agrees to play with them. Riddle states that playing as a child with Trey and Che'nya together was a really fun experience, and so he would sneak out of his study time unbeknownst to his mother and play with Trey and Che'nya.

On another occasion, while Riddle was playing together with Trey and Che'nya, Riddle stated that he'd never eaten strawberry tarts before and didn't know the taste of them, as sweets were prohibited by his mother, much to the surprise of his friends. Trey and Che'nya wanted Riddle to try his first tart, and the two then brought Riddle to Trey's popular family-owned bakery, though Riddle was reluctant about it at first. At the bakery, Riddle tasted the Strawberry Tart, and loved it. He ate until he lost track of time, in which he was found by his angry and upset mother, and was dragged back home.

Back in the house, Riddle's mother harshly scolded and reprimanded the distressed Riddle, who begged and cried to his mom to forgive him, but Riddle's mom didn't listen and thus made his studying time even more strict than it already is. In addition to the strictness of his schedule, both Trey and Che'nya were forbidden from ever interacting with Riddle and the two were to not step foot into Riddle's house. As time passed by, and Riddle spent his days doing nothing but studying and following his mother's orders, he adjusted to the harsh and strict life he has to live through.

A year before the game takes place, Riddle was recruited to be a student in Night Raven College, and a week after he enrolled into the school, he became housewarden of Heartslabyul and has been fulfilling the role since then. Magical Skills

Having received intense training from a very early age, Riddle had developed to be an incredibly skilled magician for his age, even overpowering many of his upperclassmen. Out of the four main elements, Riddle seems particularly skilled with fire magic, and uses it frequently.

Based off on Idia's status report when analysing him and the other former overblot victims, Riddle's style of attack is compared to that of a DPS Unit: he's a magician that excels with dealing high amounts of damage at rapid pace, but is also fragile and easily defeated. Signature Spell

Your sentence comes first. The verdict, afterwards. Have you any last words? Then it's Off With Your Head!
Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation – Episode of Heartslabyul

Riddle's signature spell is called "Off with Your Head!" It causes a heart-shaped collar to lock around the target's neck, sealing away their magic until Riddle chooses to remove it.[6] Although the spell is seemingly invincible, especially for inexperienced magicians, it can be countered by protective magic[7], or broken by a strong-enough target.

Ace Trappola: Appearance

Ace is a fair-skinned young man of average height. He has fluffy, orange hair that flips up at the ends, and average-length bangs that fall around his face and between his eyes. His eyes are bright scarlet in color, and over his left eye is a red marking shaped like a heart. He is often seen showing off an energetic smile. Dorm Uniform

His dorm uniform is similar to the rest of the Heartslabyul students. While in uniform, he wears eyeshadow the same color as his heart-shaped marking. The uniform's top consists of an outer jacket, a patterned vest, and a white, scoop-neck undershirt. The jacket is mainly white with a yellow trim and red underlining. His right sleeve is black, while his left has a black and white checkerboard pattern.

The lapels of the jacket are shaped like a heart, and are asymmetrically colored black and red. Two yellow shoulder cords hang from his left shoulder strap, resembling those worn by army soldiers. On his left lapel is a white rose, halfway covered in red paint. Also on the left side of his jacket is a gold, heart-shaped brooch with a yellow ā€œQHā€ inside, and a printed symbol of Heartslabyul. There is also a playing card displaying the Ace of Hearts, a card unique to Ace’s uniform.

Heartslabyul vests can either be red or black in color; Ace chooses to wear a red one. The vest is patterned with all four card suits, as well as crowns and roses. Wrapped around his waist is a yellow and black striped sash, tied together on his left side under a white circular pin, with red ruffles and a yellow ā€œHā€ in the center. His pants are white to match the jacket, with a yellow stripe running down the outer seams. His shoes are white, high-top sneakers with a red tongue, two red shoe straps, black stripes, and white laces. On the tongue of the sneaker is a gold pin with a red heart inside. Personality

Ace is a bright, carefree person, albeit a bit mischievous. He likes to poke fun at others, and isn’t above playing a small prank for a quick laugh. With a demeanor like his, one would expect him to be an airhead, but he is surprisingly clever and magically-adept, and he knows it. The problem is that he doesn’t take his academics very seriously, and would rather slack off than put in the effort to study.

A major driving force of Ace’s personality would be his brutal honesty. He isn’t afraid to speak his mind and be completely blunt about how he feels, whether the one he’s talking to wants to hear it or not. He can be quite fearless when standing up against any unfair treatment, and he has no problem getting into fights if need be. He hates indecision, possibly due to his own quick decision-making nature.

Despite the honesty, though, Ace is also skilled at telling lies, or disguising his true intentions in order to get what he wants. Sometimes this skill goes in his favor, but other times people are quick to see through his ruse. In the end, he’s a quick thinker who knows when to put his guile to good use.

At first, Ace would rather not go out of his way to help others, unless it’s for his own benefit. However, over the course of the main story, he makes some close friends and becomes quite loyal to them, even though he won’t admit it. Despite the occasional teasing like always, he still does what he can to help his friends out of tight spots. Signature Spell

Your trump card is mine now! JOKER’S WILD!
Ace Trappola

"Joker’s Wild" enables Ace to use another person's signature spell, as seen when he used Riddle's "Off with Your Head" against him.[2]

Ace’s Signature Spell is still developing, leaving it with several strict limitations, though some may disappear with systematic training. The spell fails if he cannot predict his opponent's next move or if the target magic is incomplete. He also cannot replicate all Signature Spells. Despite understanding their theory, he cannot cast Jack’s shapeshifting spell due to a lack of wolf lineage, nor Sebek’s elemental magic, since his body cannot physically sustain. Additionally, he cannot cancel the spell or reuse until the active effect expires.[3]

According to Ortho's analysis, the spell's efficiency is directly proportional to data availability, which facilitated the replication of Riddle's magic. That data includes things like the timing of when the target spell is cast, as well as its effect and potency.[4] Background

Ace has a brother seven years older than him,[5] who was a former Heartslabyul student.[6] His father isn't a mage, but was good at performing simple magic tricks; Ace followed in his footsteps, learning card tricks and other such magic from him.[7]

Deuce Spade: Appearance

Deuce is a fair-skinned young man of average height. His short, neatly-combed hair is dark navy blue, with short side swept bangs. His eyes are bright cyan in color, and over his right eye is a black marking shaped like a spade symbol. He is often shown with a serious or determined expression. Dorm Uniform

His dorm uniform is similar to the rest of the Heartslabyul students. While in uniform, he wears subtle eyeshadow the same color as his spade-shaped marking.

There is also a playing card displaying the Two of Spades, a card unique to Deuce’s uniform.

Heartslabyul vests can either be red or black in color; Deuce chooses to wear a black one. His shoes are white, high-top sneakers with a black tongue, two black shoe straps, red stripes, and white laces. On the tongue of the sneaker is a gold pin with a black spade inside. Personality

Deuce is a serious and straightforward person who is constantly working to better himself. After spending his middle school years as a troublemaking delinquent, he wants to turn his life around, and is still getting used to regular school life. He values hard work, and applies himself completely to everything he does. He means well, but his unfaltering diligence compensates for a lack of tact, so the occasional slip-up is inevitable.

Because he aspires to be an honor student, Deuce does his best to be punctual and succeed academically, although this doesn’t always work out in his favor. In most situations, he relies more on instinct than intellect. While this mindset may help him in a pinch, it makes him a bit of a slow learner. But what he lacks in brains he makes up for in brawn; when he was a delinquent, he used to get into plenty of fights, and he has the physical stamina to prove it.

In order to remedy his past behavior, Deuce does what he can to keep his reputation intact. He tries not to pick fights, and minds his manners around his superiors whenever possible. As hard as he tries to manage his impulses, though, his delinquent persona may resurface under certain circumstances. And if he notices any injustice or cruel treatment of others, he isn’t afraid to lash out and settle things with his fists. Background

Deuce is an only child[1] and lived with his single mother. Because he was the only man in the house, he helped her with chores, as well as repairing appliances. Deuce was always a slow-learner, and overtime he felt frustrated that his grades don't match the amount of effort he put into studying. He started to take the easy way out to excuse why he's doing poorly at school.[2] He became a delinquent - he started to skip class, get into fights, and associate himself with bullies. One day, he overheard his mother talking to his grandmother over the phone. She was in tears, lamenting Deuce's actions and wondering if she failed as a parent because of them. Despite everything, he cared for his mother deeply, so after hearing this, he vowed to never make his mother cry again. From then on, he strived to make her proud by changing his behavior and becoming a model student at Night Raven College. [3] Signature Spell

It’s payback time! Get a load of this! DOUBLE DOWN!
Deuce Spade

Deuce's signature spell is called "Double Down". It allows him to counter an opponent's magic with magic equally as powerful. The stronger the opponent, the more effective this spell becomes.[4] He first used it against some men who were picking on him and Epel while they were outside of school grounds, but it was accidental as at the time Deuce didn't realize what happened.[5]

Cater Diamond:

Appearance

Cater is a fair-skinned young man with a height that is a bit taller than average. He has light orange, mid-length hair, and has the top portion of his hair and bangs pulled back into a short ponytail. A few stray strands of hair fall loosely at the sides of his face, and the rest is tucked back behind his ears. His eyes are green, and on his right cheek is a small, red marking shaped like a diamond. He usually has a friendly smile on his face. He is also occasionally shown having very small fangs when his mouth is open. Dorm Uniform

His dorm uniform is similar to the rest of the Heartslabyul students. While in uniform, he wears subtle eyeshadow the same color as his diamond-shaped marking. The uniform's top consists of an outer jacket, a patterned vest, and a white, scoop-neck undershirt. The jacket is mainly white with a yellow trim and red underlining. His right sleeve is black, while his left has a black and white checkerboard pattern. Cater's sleeves are folded up just below his elbows.

The lapels of the jacket are shaped like a heart, and asymmetrically colored black and red. There is also a playing card displaying the Four of Diamonds, a card unique to Cater’s uniform.

Heartslabyul vests can either be red or black in color; Cater wears a red one. On the tongue of the sneaker is a gold pin with a red diamond inside. Personality

Cater is a peppy and easygoing person that loves to socialize. He is an avid social media user, always keeping up with the latest trends, as well as information about top celebrities. When it comes to Magicam, a popular social media site, he can be a bit of an attention-seeker, asking to take pictures with the more popular students for clicks.[2]

Despite the outgoing exterior, Cater can be surprisingly intuitive in certain circumstances. He knows his way around just about any social situation and uses his words wisely in order to get the best outcome out of a conversation. His social media savviness can also come in handy when looking up needed information about other students.[3]

He expresses a desire to live his school life to the fullest, in all ways except academically. Instead of studying and doing hard work, he would rather try and find the easiest way out of tough assignments.[4] This, however, may not stem from laziness, but rather a difficulty focusing on things he isn’t interested in.[5]

Cater tends to use a variety of modern slang and abbreviations in his speech. He also occasionally makes references to already existing ā€œmemeā€ phrases. Background

Cater has two older sisters who, according to him, boss him around. He has described his sisters as ā€œunreasonable,ā€ his dislikes in his profile are listed as "having to suck up to his sisters." In his voice lines, he mentioned that he can’t relate to MC feeling homesick because his sisters would just be waiting for him at home. His sisters rated everything by how cute it was, and if something ā€œwasn’t cuteā€ to them then Cater would have to redo it.[6]

They would get more excited about his birthday than he would, and buy him all kinds of presents he didn’t particularly like (such as stuffed animals, dolls, perfumes, soaps, etc). But they weren’t trying to be intentionally mean, and recently have started paying attention to what he really wants.[7] When everyone was going home for winter holiday, due to his complicated relationship with his sisters, Cater said he’d rather stay with Trey’s family.[8]

When he was about 10 years old, his mom and his sisters were always baking sweets. Cater was excited about this at first because it meant he could get lots of treats, but his sisters would make him eat everything. If he refused, they’d look so disheartened, and Cater couldn’t say no to that, so he kept forcing himself to eat. Because of this, he now hates sweets.[7]

Because of his dad’s work as a banker, their family had to move about once every two years, all over the world.[9] Cater hadn't had any long-lasting friends because of this. Signature Spell

I’m him and he’s them. Split Card.
Cater Diamond

Cater's signature spell is called "Split Card." It allows him to split himself into clones that each act independently. The more clones he makes, the harder it is for him to maintain them.[10] Cater's clones are usually differentiated by what uniform they're wearing (Dorm Uniform, PE Uniform, etc.).

Trey Clover:

Appearance

Trey is a tall, fair-skinned young man with short, dark-green hair. He has very short, side swept bangs and thicker-than-average eyebrows. His eyes are a warm mustard yellow and he always wears black, full-rimmed glasses. On his left cheek is a small black marking in the shape of a club (or clover) symbol. He is often shown with a clever smirk on his face. Dorm Uniform

His dorm uniform is similar to the rest of the Heartslabyul students, with a distinguishing feature being his unique fedora. While in uniform, he wears subtle eyeshadow the same color as his club-shaped marking. The uniform's top consists of an outer jacket, a patterned vest, and a white, scoop-neck undershirt. The jacket is mainly white with a yellow trim and red underlining. His right sleeve is black, while his left has a black and white checkerboard pattern. Trey’s sleeves are folded up just below his elbows, and he also wears short-length, fingerless black gloves.

There is also a playing card displaying the Three of Clubs, a card unique to Trey’s uniform.

Heartslabyul vests can either be red or black in color; Trey wears a black one. The vest is patterned with all four card suits, as well as crowns and roses. Unlike a majority of Heartslabyul students, Trey chooses to wear his vest unbuttoned. Wrapped around his waist is a yellow and black striped sash, tied together on his left side under a white circular pin, with red ruffles and a yellow ā€œHā€ in the center. His pants are white to match the jacket, with a yellow stripe running down the outer seams. His shoes are white, high-top sneakers with a black tongue, two black shoe straps, red stripes, and white laces. On the tongue of the sneaker is a gold pin with a black club inside.

Trey’s signature fedora is the same white as his jacket, with a yellow and black striped band around it. On the side of his hat is a black, club-shaped pin. Personality

Trey is a generally laid-back and agreeable person that many of his dormmates see as a brotherly figure. As vice housewarden, Trey does what he can for his underclassmen, and is usually the one keeping Riddle in check, making sure he doesn’t go overboard with his punishments. When conflict arises, he’s often the first to calm it down, or to find a compromise so nothing escalates. Under pressure, he likes to think things through and have a backup plan in case something goes wrong. Being so patient and levelheaded, Trey is rarely angered, but when he is, he is angry for a long time.[2]

Despite others’ assumptions, his courteous nature comes less from a place of genuine good will, and more from a desire to maintain peace and keep his school life stress-free. The few reasons why he would go out of his way to help someone would be if it was an emergency,[6] or if he knows he’ll get something of equal value in return.[7] Other than that, he prefers not to get involved in situations that aren’t his business, and would rather play it safe than risk drawing unnecessary attention to himself. This mindset is also present when it comes to academics; he isn’t an overachiever, and doesn't do much more than what’s expected of him as a student. Though, when the reputation of his dorm or housewarden relies on his actions, he's willing put in more effort than usual, so as to not discredit them.[8]

Trey seems to worry about what others think of him: in Deuce’s Wish Upon a Star vignette, he hides behind a pillar when two Octavinelle students begin to mock Deuce for his Starsending Robes until they flee after Deuce confronts them. Afterwards, Trey admits that he hoped not to be seen in those clothes. He is always humble when complimented by others and downplays his achievements, perhaps to stay out of trouble by remaining as inconspicuous as possible at all times. In the novel, it is specifically mentioned that the true extent of Trey’s unique magic was able to take Riddle by surprise because Riddle had never thought to pay attention to it.

Trey may be a rational and levelheaded type of person, but he also has a playful side. He seems to be a fan of simple pranks, such as telling others that he uses oyster sauce in his pastry recipes and then laughing when they actually believe him.[9] Background

The Clover family runs Patisserie Clover [10] and Trey was raised helping with the business, being taught to cook and bake from an early age along with his younger brother and sister. As the oldest child, he often had to take care of his little siblings and assume a parental role, most notably ensuring they all brushed their teeth at night.[11] Trey also was frequently the one entertaining his siblings; they would frequently pester him to bake them desserts,[12] and he has mentioned that he once spent his whole allowance to get his brother a ticket for a spelldrive game.[13]

Outside of his family, Trey's most notable childhood relationships were with Riddle and Che'nya. Trey grew up in the same neighborhood as Riddle, yet never encountered him when playing outside due to Riddle's strict upbringing. Along with Che'nya, Trey encouraged Riddle to sneak out and play with them. This only lasted for a brief period of time, however. Riddle's mother discovered her son was missing from his room and found him at the Clover family's bakery. Trey's family heavily scolded him for his irresponsibility. This scene was heavily altered from the Japanese release where it was Riddle's mother scolding Trey herself, which explains why Trey was so hesitant to be more stern towards Riddle prior to Book 1.[14] This event was an extremely formative experience for Trey, causing him anxiety around the situation in the present.[15] Signature Spell

White to red, red to white. Paint the Roses.
Trey Clover (Twisted-Wonderland The Novel Episode 1: The Red-Rose Tyrant)

Trey's signature spell is called "Paint the Roses." This spell has the ability to temporarily overwrite an object's sensory characteristics, such as taste or smell. It is first introduced when Cater asks him to change the taste of a chestnut tart to match the tasters' favorite foods.[16] In rare circumstances, this spell can also overwrite other people's magic; he once overwrote Riddle's magic with his own, essentially rendering him powerless for a limited time.[17]

Trey's signature spell in the official English translation of the manga has two names: "Paint the Roses", which is used in the English server,[18] and "Doodle Suit", which is the Japanese name.[19]

[ SAVANACLAW DORM ]

(Housewarden) Leona Kingscholar:

Appearance

Leona is a tall young man with medium-brown skin and fairly defined muscles. He has thick, dark-brown hair that goes below his shoulders in length, with long, side-parted bangs that fall over his eyes. Two sections of hair on both sides of his face are braided and tied at the ends with yellow bands. He has emerald green eyes, and a thin scar over his left eye that goes from his eyebrow to his cheek. A black lion tattoo wraps around his left arm, just below his shoulder.

Instead of human ears, he has brown lion ears on the top of his head. This is paired with a long lion tail of the same color, with a dark-brown tuft of fur at the end. He is usually shown with half-lidded eyes and a smug, sharp-toothed grin. Dorm Uniform

As the housewarden, Leona’s outfit somewhat differs from the rest of the Savanaclaw students, the most distinguishing features being his dark-brown chaps and belt accessories. The uniform consists of a sleeveless, dark-yellow shirt, a black leather vest, worn-out jeans, thick beaded jewelry, and an orange-yellow bandana with black trim and the symbol of Savanaclaw printed on it.

The shirt has a deep y-neck, and a black, geometric pattern on the trim. Leona's shirt differs from the rest of the dorm by featuring an asymmetrical cut[4], with one side falling over his jeans, and the other tucking above them, revealing a bit of his waist. The leather vest has a design reminiscent of a ā€œdouble-riderā€ biker jacket, with silver buttons and zippers. The jeans are a cool gray with visible creases; in Leona’s case, his jeans are mostly covered with dark-brown chaps that connect to his belt of the same color.

Over his belt is a bandana, wrapped around his waist and tied together with two silver rings on his left side. Draping over the bandana is a layer of stitched-together fabric in various shades of brown. The fabric hangs on Leona’s left side and resembles a patchy fur pelt. Despite the average Savanaclaw uniform including black biker boots, Leona instead chooses to wear dark brown dress shoes with block heels and a bronze-color stripe over the center. He also wears black short-length gloves.

The uniform includes a variety of jewelry, made up of thick beads that are gold, red, blue, and green. Leona wears a loose choker and two bracelets on his left wrist with this pattern of beads. Additionally, he wears another necklace solely made up of golden beads with several fang-shaped pendants, as well as one more bracelet on his left wrist, also made up of golden beads. Personality

Leona is an arrogant, domineering person who’s as prideful as he is lazy. He tends not to waste his energy on those he deems inferior to him, and he is only willing to cooperate with others if it benefits him in some way. In the same vein, he puts little to no effort into activities that don’t interest him, especially when it comes to his studies. Although he is incredibly talented when it comes to magic, he tends to slack off, skip classes, and take naps whenever possible. A lack of motivation and attendance has caused him to repeat one school year. This tendency for sloth causes many to underestimate Leona or misinterpret his capabilities.

Under certain conditions, Leona’s laziness fades to reveal a fierce competitive side. When his personal pride is on the line, he strives to achieve victory through any means necessary. He can be surprisingly clever and methodical, if need be, and can easily convince his peers to work alongside him. As such, his dorm members show great diffidence and respect to him as their leader, while Leona in turn looks after them and their interests (subtly and to an extent). Furthermore, Leona is a formidable fighter in his own right, having been trained in martial arts from a young age.

In addition to being very intelligent and magically adept, Leona is considered a very perceptive person, as can be seen several times in the course of events or in the vignettes. In the Spectral Soiree, Leona seems to immediately suspect Lilia Vanrouge, as well as understand in the usual event that Malleus is not possessed. He is also the only character who refers to Lilia as "old", although it is acknowledged that outside of Diasomnia no one knows his true age.

Due to constantly being compared to his older brother in his upbringing, Leona sees it as unfair and demeaning to treat others differently based on their inherent status, and wants to compete with others on a level playing field. Ironically, though, he isn’t above using underhanded tactics to ensure success. Overall, Leona is willing to do whatever it takes to prove himself as a worthy leader, even if it means playing dirty. Background

Leona is the junior prince of Sunset Savanna. He has an older brother named Falena, the crown prince and current regent of Sunset Savanna, who he describes as being rather carefree.[5] Their father has been reported as not being "in good health," and has been bedridden for at least two years, if not longer; when he is lucid enough, the king will often ask how Leona and Falena are getting along (out of respect for his father, Leona would give him a polite response). Growing up, although Leona was extremely intelligent, magically prodigious, athletic, notably handsome and diligent, he was constantly compared to and upstaged by Falena, his talents overshadowed and downplayed by almost everyone. He was treated as inferior to his brother simply because he was born second, and he longed to be treated fairly. The development of his signature spell exacerbated matters, as people were frightened of his ability to reduce living and nonliving things to sand, a highly destructive ability in a land that valued life and nature. Furthermore, Leona shows great disdain for the Sunset Savanna's tendency to live alongside nature and adapt to it rather than making use of its resources to improve life for everyone, a concept Falena does not support due to its violation of tradition.

The only one to support him growing up was Kifaji (Neji), a bird beastman and Grand Chamberlain, who was a tutor to the young prince; Leona learned chess from him and acknowledges the advisor as a worthy challenger despite their current differences. While Kifaji is genuinely fond of Leona, he is irritated by Leona's avoidance of duty and often scolds the prince for his lackadaisical attitude, insisting Leona's natural talent and wit could still be of use to the kingdom despite never inheriting the throne. Leona, in turn, often bickers with Kifaji and attempts to outwit him when the chamberlain attempts to corner Leona into doing something, although it's implied Leona does care for Kifaji in his own way.

Due to the continual dismissal and fear of him, Leona felt that no matter what he did, he would never become the best nor have the opportunity to become king. As a result, he sees no reason to work hard when he knows his status will stay the same no matter what. Falena would eventually take a wife; despite his friction with his brother, Leona is very respectful to his sister-in-law, reluctantly but quickly agreeing to direct requests from her (though he insists that he does this to avoid "trouble" from her, as the women of Sunset Savanna are reportedly stronger than the men).

When he was 16, Leona got an invitation to Night Raven College, which he ignored at first, as he already learned everything from royal tutors during his childhood years. However, when his nephew Cheka was born, Leona began feeling suffocated at home and decided to enroll in NRC a year after he got the invitation.[6] It's only at Night Raven College, where he's treated as an equal, that Leona attempts to seek the dominion he cannot achieve back home. As such, Leona often tries to get out of returning home for holidays or special events, although he is often pressured to come back due to his nephew's pleas to see him or Kifaji's machinations. Cheka is very attached to Leona, calling him "Oji-tan" ("Unca") and often giving Leona cards and letters.[7] In contrast, Leona avoids Cheka whenever possible, galled by Cheka's cheerful personality and rank as heir. Magical Skills

In contrast to his indolent nature, Leona's magical power is considered to be a category of its own. Objectively, Leona is one of the most powerful students in the school and is the only person we have seen capable of defending himself against Riddle Roseheart's unique magic, the collar bouncing off of him.[8]

During the events of Book 6, Idia Shroud claims that as a member of Sunset Savanna's royal family, Leona must have received a first-rate magical education as a child. Idia's studies, in fact, conclude that Leona's launch speed is sky-high, while his magic reserve is enormous. Furthermore, Leona also knows how to use his magic efficiently, tailoring his defense spells to match the potency of enemy attacks while hardly wasting any magic at all. Leona usually shows great mental strength, but when a strong accumulation of intense emotions comes, he may not be able to control himself and this could cause a drastic spike in blot accumulation. [9]

Book 6 shows a comparison between Leona's strength and that of the other students at Night Raven College, including other Housewardens. Unlike Vil and Riddle, Leona is powerful enough to be able to lift, aim, and use his Thunder Spear on his own, and even uses his magic without the aid of Jamil for two rounds against the Titans, before falling to his knees from exhaustion. [10] His magic is not completely omnipotent, however, and is unable to work when at the mercy of Styx's anti-magic equipment. [11] In addition, if Leona's concentration is disrupted, it is possible to ambush him magically, such as when Jack Howl distracted him long enough for Riddle to finally collar him in Book 2. Signature Spell

I am the one who hungers, I am the one who thirsts. I am the one to rob you of your future–kneel before me! The King’s Roar.
Leona Kingscholar

Leona's Signature Spell is "The King's Roar."[12] After casting, anything Leona touches turns to sand, including living beings and Phantoms. Leona admits that his spell is difficult to control, refusing to use the spell in tight spaces and risk turning everyone in it to sand. [13] Leona also has control over the sand particles generated from this ability. When using his signature spell, it is formidable enough to even make the air dry and dusty, and the ground quake and crack into fissures, even if he does not fully complete the spell. Leona has also once used King’s Roar to negate Skully's magic before it could take effect, even without being in physical contact.

Jack Howl:

Appearance

Jack is a tall young man with light-brown skin, defined muscles, and a stature considerably larger than his peers, especially other students his age. He has short, fluffy hair that spikes upwards, and a prominent tuft of hair falling between his eyes. His hair is a light silver color, and the hair closer to his neck fades into a darker gray. He has thicker-than-average eyebrows that match his hair color, and golden-brown eyes.

Instead of human ears, Jack has large, silver wolf ears on the top of his head with dark-gray tips. This is paired with a large, fluffy wolf tail of the same color that also fades into dark-gray at the end. When he shows his teeth, sharp fangs are usually visible. He often has a serious look on his face. Dorm Uniform

Jack’s uniform is similar to the rest of the Savanaclaw students. It consists of a sleeveless, dark-yellow shirt, a black leather vest, worn-out jeans, thick beaded jewelry, and an orange-yellow bandana with black trim and the symbol of Savanaclaw printed on it.

The shirt has a deep y-neck, and a black, geometric pattern on the trim; Jack has his shirt neatly tucked underneath his jeans. The leather vest has a design reminiscent of a ā€œdouble-riderā€ biker jacket, with silver buttons and zippers. The jeans are a cool gray with visible creases. Over his jeans are black leather biker boots. He also wears black short-length gloves.

Jack has his orange-yellow bandana wrapped around his waist and tied together with two silver rings on his left side. Hanging from the silver rings is a brown leather tassel, with one string of beads and a sharp white fang connected to it.

The uniform includes a variety of jewelry, made up of thick beads that are gold, red, blue, and green. Jack wears two low-hanging necklaces with this pattern of beads over his shirt. He also has a thin brown choker around his neck, with a white fang pendant hanging from it. Personality

At first, Jack seems rather cold and distant, not relying on the help of others and claiming to be able to handle things alone. Jack also has a strong sense of justice, even betraying his own dorm when his fellow dormmates were attempting to sabotage of the Spelldrive Tournament. As the story progresses, Jack has been shown to care for those he considers his friends, even though he'll often give a different reason to his actions. Once someone earns Jack's respect, he'll do anything within his capabilities to earn that person's respect back, and also help them in any way he can.[3] He's also rather intelligent and observant, being able to guess Azul's real form in the water just by Leona's nickname "cephalo-punk" for Azul and knew what Floyd's signature spell does when he and the others got attacked by the Leech brothers. Signature Spell

Faster, Sharper, Stronger. Unleash the beast!
Jack Howl (Twisted-Wonderland The Novel Episode 2: The Usurper from the Wilds)

Jack's signature spell is called "Unleash the Beast!" His admiration for his maternal grandfather, who possessed a reversion signature spell, inspired him to develop his own. It allows him to transform into a huge, white wolf and is classified as a reverse signature spell, as it manifests atavism of his wolf ancestry. [4]

Jack retains his sentience in this form, while his senses sharpen greatly, especially his sense of smell. He is also able to run much faster and jump about 10 meters high. However, using this form will drain Jack's magic reserves, and stronger scents such as cologne will disorient him. Furthermore, he must remain constantly focused; otherwise, he risks reverting to his original form without warning.[2]

This ability is recognized as a highly complex and prestigious spell, as transforming into another creature without the help of a potion requires an extremely elevated level of magic.[5][6]

Ruggie Bucchi:

Appearance

Ruggie is a light-skinned boy of average height. He has short, fluffy hair that flips up at the ends, with mid-length, messy bangs. His hair is mostly sandy-blonde, but a darker blonde colour fades in from the top of his head. He has short, thicker-than-average eyebrows, bluish-gray eyes, and a subtle dark colouring underneath his eyes.

Instead of human ears, Ruggie has large, brown hyena ears on the top of his head. This is paired with a short hyena tail of the same colour. Small, sharp fangs are usually seen when his mouth is open. He is usually shown brandishing a mischievous smile. Dorm Uniform

Ruggie’s uniform is similar to the rest of the Savanaclaw students. It consists of a dark-yellow t-shirt, a black leather vest, worn-out blue jeans, thick beaded jewellery, and an orange-yellow bandana with black patterning and the symbol of Savanaclaw printed on it.

The shirt has a deep y-neck, and a black, geometric pattern on the trim. Unlike a majority of Savanaclaw students, Ruggie’s shirt is not sleeveless, and is instead a large, short-sleeved t-shirt. He wears his shirt over the jeans, covering his waist. The leather vest has a design reminiscent of a ā€œdouble-riderā€ biker jacket, with silver buttons and zippers. The jeans are a cool gray with visible creases. Over his jeans are black leather biker boots. He also wears one black, leather driving glove on his right hand.

While most Savanaclaw students wear their orange-yellow bandana around their waist, Ruggie chooses to wrap it around his neck like a scarf.

The uniform includes a variety of jewellery, made up of thick beads that are gold, red, blue, and green. Ruggie wears two low-hanging necklaces with this pattern of beads, but they are mostly covered by his vest and bandana. Personality

Ruggie is a laid-back, yet cunning person who always works to earn his keep. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to succeed, even if it means blatantly deceiving others, or currying favour with his housewarden, Leona. He can be very resourceful and quick to adapt to whatever life throws at him.

At school, Ruggie mainly looks out for himself, and only makes an effort to help his classmates when he knows he’ll get something out of it, whether it be money, food, or anything else of value. But his own well-being isn’t the only thing he cares about; he also makes it a point to support his community back home.[3] His poor upbringing has made him quite versatile, as he’s learned a number of practical skills necessary for survival, like cooking, cleaning, and good work ethic. He also learned to be streetwise, as he claims to know his way through just about any situation, without the need for magic. Consequently, Ruggie is also a talented pickpocket.

In general, Ruggie values his own hard work and self-sufficiency. As a result, it can be hard for him to trust people on a personal level. He usually assumes that anyone doing him a favor just wants something in return, similar to his own mindset. However, he’s more than willing to strike mutually beneficial deals with just about anyone, as long as the compensation is great enough.[4] Background

Ruggie grew up in the slums of the area he lives in.[3] His mother passed away when Ruggie was born, and his father left to make money but he never came back, and Ruggie doesn't know his whereabouts. Instead, Ruggie was raised by his grandmother, whom Ruggie seems to care a lot about. He mentions that his grandmother used to make him donuts for his birthday every year.[5] Signature Spell

Kings, hyenas—everyone is my friend! Laugh With Me!
Ruggie Bucchi (Twisted-Wonderland Episode of Savanaclaw Volume 2)

Ruggie's signature spell is called "Laugh With Me!" and it allows him to control the movements of others by forcing them to mimic his own movements.[6] It's possible to use this spell on multiple people at once.

[ OCTAVINELLE DORM ]

Azul Ashengrotto: Appearance

Azul is a fair-skinned young man of slightly above average height. He has short, wavy hair that's a cool light-gray color. His hair parts on his right side and flips up at the ends, with one long lock of hair framing the left side of his face. He also has an undercut. His eyes are a bluish-purple color but appear to be a light fluorescent blue in his overblot form. A small beauty mark rests below his lip on the left side of his face. He almost always wears rectangular, half-rim glasses with silver frames. He is often shown with a modest smile and calculating gaze. Dorm Uniform

As the housewarden, Azul’s dorm uniform somewhat differs from the rest of the Octavinelle students, the most distinguishing feature being the long coat over his shoulders. Azul also wears sharp, deep-purple eyeliner while in his dorm uniform. The uniform’s top consists of a black, double-breasted suit, a lavender-gray scarf, a button-up undershirt, and a bow tie. The uniform also comes with a black cummerbund and slacks, white gloves, and a black fedora.

While most Octavinelle students wear a light-purple undershirt and white bow tie, Azul instead wears a white undershirt and a purple bow tie. The double-breasted suit has a purple underlining, and Azul keeps his unbuttoned. His lavender-gray scarf drapes over both his shoulders and under the suit’s lapels. The scarf has fringed ends, with the symbol of Octavinelle printed on one end.

Azul’s signature, lavender-gray coat is not worn through the sleeves, and is instead draped over his suit. It reaches his knees in length, and has a purple underlining.

Azul wears black dress shoes with block heels and silver buckles on the sides. Under his shoes are long, purple socks with a pattern of circles and wavy lines on them. His white gloves are buttoned at the wrist. The black fedora has a lavender-gray band wrapped around it and tied with a neat bow, over which is a purple pin in the shap
