this takes place in the world of the webcomic twokinds, though in a 1990s settings rather than a medeval setting, 1994 to be spesific. all the land masses and countrys of the real world are not present, instead there are only two contedents, the largest, mekkan, and a smaller one just south of it, the basidian isles. there are more than just human, there also being 2 other species, the keidran and basitin, keidran are anthropomorphic animals, being either canines or felines, they tend to be more animalistic, free spirited, inpulsive and instinct driven than humans, basitin are also anthropomorphic animals, being felines with some rabbit like features, mainly large rabbit like ears, unlike keidran they tend to be very disciplined, orderly and prudish. humans occupy most of mekkan, their land stretching from the north to the south coast and most of the east coast, while canine keidran occupy all of the west coast of mekkan, and feline keidran not really having a homeland, other than the tigers who occupy the rain forest which is a small part of the south east coast of mekkan, and the basitin occupy all of the basitin isles. it is the 1990s so only technology from the time is present, though magic is present, and is seen like any other science, just being another part of life, though useing magic is something that everyone can do easyly, being a collage tought skill, magic is also compleatly unuseable to basitins.

Keith Keiser: male, eastern basitin, 20 years old, 5,6, tan fur, hair color same as fur, yellow eyes, small scar over right eye, gash on right ear leaving it slightly cocked down, lean and somewhat feminine but fit and athletic build. acts indifferant, detatched and angsty most of the time, but actualy is very caring and protective, just doesnt show it. while most basitins can be rather orderly and prudish, him included to some degree, but due to living among humans and keidran for the past 4 years, and being outcasted from the rest of basitin socity, his prudishness is more subdued and he has quite a rebellious streak. hes bisexual, but doesnt fully realize it yet, being confused about his sexuality, a large part of that confusion coming from his feelings towards his friend nikolai, which he cant decide if he sees nikolai as just a friend or more than that. grew up on the basitin isles, and like every basitin he was forced into military training when he was only 8, due to this he is proficent with several weapons, and is somewhat desensitized to the idea of killing, he became close friends with nikolai alaric during his childhood, and would often get into misschif with nikolai, misschif nikolai would often start and drag keith into, but when keith is 16, him and nikolai did something considered bad enough to be exiled from the isles, and sent to the mainland, ending up in edinmire, and after some time of being homeless they manage to get a small apartment shortly before keith turns 18, they also started to take a liking to the local grunge music scene starting to get popular in the city, and start a band not long after keith turned 19, with keith being the guitarist and, reluctently, the singer, nikolai being the drummer, and a recently reaquanted old aquantance of theres, madelyn adelaide as the bassist. relationships: nikolai alaric (close friend, crush, roommate and bandmate) madelyn adelaide (recent friend, roommate and bandmate)

Nikolai Alaric: male, eastern basitin, 20 years old, 5,6, brown fur, hair color same as fur, gray eyes, 3 large scars over the left eye leaving the eye mostly blind and having a dull washed out gray coloration, lean and somewhat feminine but fit and athletic build. tends to be very casual and calm, and very forward when it comes to affection, is almost always atleast somewhat happy and always playing minor pranks and telling jokes and getting into misschif. while most basitins can be rather orderly and prudish, he's very casual, open and rebellious, with that casualness, openness and rebelliousness only farthering after living among humans and keidran on the mainland for the past 4 years after being outcasted from the rest of basitin socity. he's homosexual, and fully aware of it, but due to that not being a fully exeptable thing in his time, he's not very outward about it, he's in love with keith, and has been for some time, but is worried that admiting it could ruin their friendship, so keeps it hidden, though he does tend to act very homorotic and flirty with keith, and likes to see how flustard he can make keith, but always plays it off as a joke. grew up on the basitin isles, and like every basitin he was forced into military training when he was only 8, due to this he is proficent with several weapons, and is somewhat desensitized to the idea of killing. relationships: keith keiser (close friend, crush, roommate and bandmate) madelyn adelaide (recent friend, roommate and bandmate)

Madelyn Adelaide: female, eastern basitin, 18 years old, 5,1, light brown fur, hair color same as fur, yellow eyes, lean, fit and athletic build, flat chested. shes hyper and fun loving most of the time, and can be a bit of a stalker, and can also be very munipulitive, while most basitins are orderly and prudish, she is rather rebeleous and mischiveous, though is still very prudish. she can tell that nikolai and keith are in love with each other, but she doesnt say it because she finds it funny how obliveous they are to the fact that the other loves him back. shes bisexual, but isnt aware of it yet, still thinkings shes straight. she grew up on the basitin isles, and like every basitin she was forced into military training when he was only 8, but she forwent most standard combat training in fn favor of becoming a spy, getting good at stealth and other skills useful for espeonoge, but not being very good in an actual fight and being only okay with a gun, eventualy though, her constant misschif and rule bending catches up to her, and at 17 she does something considered bad enough to get exiled from the isles, ending up on the mainland in edinmire, and after a few weeks on the streets she finds two old aquantances of hers, keith and nikolai, and becomes roommates with them in their apartment, and while having no conection to and knowing nothing about the grunge scene, or mainland music in general, she decides to start learning bass and join keith and nikolais band after being convinced to by nikolai. relationships: keith keiser (recent friend, roommate and bandmate) nikolai alaric (recent friend, roommate and bandmate)
