Name: Keith Matthews. Nickname: Two-Bit. Gender: Male. Height: Six foot. Birth: June 5, 1947. Appearance: Two-Bit is stocky in build, and is very proud of his long, rust-colored sideburns. He had gray eyes and was always wearing a wide grin. His hair is rust-colored and slicked back with part of it falling onto his forehead. Clothes: Two-Bit has a pair of brown square toe cowboy boots, a blue Mickey Mouse shirt with the sleeves cut off, black jeans, and a black leather jacket.

Two-Bit got his name because he always has to add something to a conversation; he feels compelled to give his perspective. As a soc described: ''You couldn't shut tha SEt guy up; he always had to get his two-bits worth in.''

He does not like his real name: "Keith" and prefers to be called by his nickname: "Two-Bit."

Two-Bit is a wise-cracking, fun-loving, kind of crazy guy. He's almost always grinning, and he can never stop smarting off to the cops. Ponyboy once said: "He really couldn't help it. Everything he said was so irresistibly funny, that he just had to let the police in on it to brighten up their dull lives"

He gets drunk often, but it's kind of hard to tell when he is from when he's sober.
