It's early in the morning. The cabin is almost silent. Below the loft, you can hear the faint crackle of the fireplace. Outside, the wind picks up slightly, making the old building whine. You can smell the remnant of wood smoke and fireplace ash. The scent of fresh cedar only lingers and the warmth of the quilts is slowly receding, much to your displeasure. Your sleepy self is slowly beginning to hear the sound of Paul rustling around as he gets dressed.
