Riddle Rosehearts — Housewarden, 2nd Year A small, sharp-minded prodigy with an intimidating temper and an encyclopedic knowledge of rules. Riddle is strict, formal, and expects absolute obedience, having been raised under extraordinarily demanding expectations. Beneath his authoritarian exterior is someone who genuinely wants things to be orderly and right, but struggles with flexibility and expressing himself. Once he trusts someone, he can be surprisingly earnest and caring. Heartslabyul is built around the Queen of Hearts, with its infamous hundreds of rules reflecting Riddle's obsession with order. Trey Clover — Vice Housewarden, 3rd Year The calm, dependable "big brother" of Heartslabyul. Trey is patient, practical, and considerably more relaxed than Riddle, often stepping in to prevent his housewarden from going too far. He's an excellent baker and enjoys taking care of others, though his easygoing demeanor hides a clever streak. When everyone else is panicking, Trey is usually the one quietly figuring out what needs to be done.

Cater Diamond — 3rd Year Outgoing, fashionable, and seemingly incapable of being separated from his phone. Cater loves Magicam, trends, selfies, and keeping up a cheerful social persona. He's friendly with nearly everyone and is excellent at reading social situations. However, the bubbly personality is partly a mask; Cater has a more guarded and introspective side that he rarely allows people to see.

Ace Trappola — 1st Year A cocky, mischievous freshman with a talent for getting himself into trouble. Ace is competitive, sarcastic, and loves teasing people—especially when he thinks he can get away with it. Despite his laziness and tendency to bend rules, he's considerably more perceptive and loyal than he initially appears. He's one of the first people to treat unusual situations like an adventure rather than a crisis.

Deuce Spade — 1st Year A serious freshman trying desperately to become a respectable person after leaving behind a delinquent past. Deuce is straightforward, hardworking, and extremely earnest, though not always the brightest when confronted with complicated schemes. He takes his goals seriously and has a strong sense of right and wrong. His temper occasionally gets the better of him, particularly when someone insults his friends.

Leona Kingscholar — Housewarden, 3rd Year A powerful lion beastman and prince of a foreign kingdom. Leona is intelligent, cynical, proud, and spectacularly lazy, preferring to sleep rather than waste effort on things he considers meaningless. Beneath the apathy is a remarkably sharp strategist who understands people and politics extremely well. His greatest frustration is knowing that his intelligence and ability will never completely erase the disadvantage of being second-born. Savanaclaw emphasizes athleticism, competition, and strength. Ruggie Bucchi — 2nd Year A clever hyena beastman who survives through resourcefulness, opportunism, and an excellent understanding of human nature. Ruggie is cheerful, mischievous, and perpetually interested in making money or obtaining something useful. He's fiercely practical and knows exactly when to flatter, bargain, or manipulate someone. Although officially not a vice housewarden, he effectively serves as Leona's closest subordinate and handles an enormous amount of Savanaclaw's practical work. ([Twisted Wonderland][2])

Jack Howl — 1st Year A disciplined wolf beastman who takes hard work, training, and personal integrity extremely seriously. Jack dislikes cheating and shortcuts and has little patience for people who refuse to put in effort. He can come across as blunt or intimidating, but he's fundamentally honorable and dependable. His competitive nature makes him particularly determined to prove himself against stronger opponents.

Azul Ashengrotto — Housewarden, 2nd Year An intelligent octopus merfolk who runs the Mostro Lounge and has turned negotiation into an art form. Azul is polished, courteous, ambitious, and relentlessly business-minded. He loves contracts, favors, and finding mutually beneficial arrangements—especially ones that benefit him a little more. Despite his confidence, Azul is deeply insecure about his past and works obsessively to ensure nobody can ever look down on him again. Octavinelle is based on the Sea Witch from The Little Mermaid. Jade Leech — Vice Housewarden, 2nd Year Floyd's twin brother and Azul's calmest associate. Jade is unfailingly polite, soft-spoken, and composed, making him considerably more unsettling when he becomes interested in something. He enjoys observing people, collecting information, and cultivating unusual hobbies such as terrariums. His courteous smile rarely reveals exactly what he's thinking. Jade serves as one of Azul's most trusted partners and frequently keeps the Octavinelle operation running smoothly. ([Twisted Wonderland][5])

Floyd Leech — 2nd Year Jade's unpredictable twin brother. Floyd is energetic, emotionally volatile, and governed almost entirely by whatever he happens to find interesting at the moment. He can be friendly one second and frighteningly aggressive the next, especially when bored. He gives people nicknames based on his impressions of them and enjoys pushing others' buttons. Unlike Jade's careful manipulation, Floyd operates almost entirely on instinct.

Kalim Al-Asim — Housewarden, 2nd Year A wealthy and exuberant young man who seems to have enough energy for ten people. Kalim is generous, affectionate, optimistic, and extraordinarily trusting. He loves throwing enormous parties and making everyone around him happy, sometimes without considering the amount of work his plans create for others. His privileged upbringing has left him somewhat sheltered, but his genuine kindness makes it difficult for him to intentionally hurt someone. ([Twisted Wonderland][6])

Jamil Viper — Vice Housewarden, 2nd Year A highly capable, practical student who has spent most of his life managing Kalim's chaotic lifestyle. Jamil is intelligent, observant, responsible, and an excellent cook, though he often wishes other people would stop creating problems for him to solve. His family has served Kalim's family for generations, leaving Jamil with complicated feelings about his position. He is much more ambitious and capable than he allows himself to appear. Vil Schoenheit — Housewarden, 3rd Year A famous actor, model, and beauty icon who holds himself and everyone around him to exceptionally high standards. Vil is disciplined, sophisticated, ambitious, and brutally honest when he believes someone is wasting their potential. He considers beauty something that must be cultivated through effort rather than simply possessed. His harshness often comes from wanting people to improve rather than from simple cruelty. Rook Hunt — Vice Housewarden, 3rd Year An eccentric hunter who possesses an almost unnerving appreciation for beauty. Rook observes people with extraordinary attention and is fascinated by their strengths, weaknesses, and potential. He's theatrical, poetic, courteous, and notoriously difficult to read. His enthusiasm can be overwhelming, especially when he decides someone is particularly "beautiful." He's also an exceptional marksman and tracker, making him one of Pomefiore's most capable students. Epel Felmier — 1st Year A handsome, soft-spoken freshman from a rural village who desperately wants people to stop treating him as delicate. Epel has a surprisingly stubborn and competitive personality beneath his pretty appearance. He wants to become stronger and more traditionally masculine, though Vil constantly pushes him toward cultivating elegance and refinement instead. His country upbringing also gives him practical skills and a surprisingly strong connection to apples.

Idia Shroud — Housewarden, 3rd Year A brilliant but extremely antisocial technomancer who would generally rather interact with fictional characters than actual people. Idia is a gaming enthusiast, programmer, inventor, and self-proclaimed shut-in. His speech is full of internet slang and gamer terminology, and social interaction can make him catastrophically anxious. Beneath the sarcasm and pessimism is someone extraordinarily intelligent who cares deeply about his younger brother.

Ortho Shroud — 1st Year / Idia's Younger Brother A cheerful, highly advanced artificial being created by Idia. Ortho is curious, enthusiastic, and considerably more socially capable than his brother. He enjoys learning about people and frequently tries to encourage Idia to participate in social activities. His mechanical body gives him abilities far beyond those of an ordinary student, and his technological knowledge makes him an invaluable member of Ignihyde.

Malleus Draconia — Housewarden, 3rd Year A powerful fae prince and one of the most magically gifted students at Night Raven College. Malleus is dignified, intelligent, and somewhat isolated because people are intimidated by his reputation. Despite his immense power, he has surprisingly ordinary interests and genuinely enjoys conversations with people who treat him normally. He's particularly fascinated by architecture, history, and exploring unfamiliar places. ([Twisted Wonderland][10])

Lilia Vanrouge — Vice Housewarden, 3rd Year A playful, mischievous fae who serves as one of Malleus's closest companions. Lilia has a carefree personality and enjoys teasing practically everyone around him, but his lighthearted behavior hides tremendous experience and magical ability. He's an accomplished warrior and deeply protective of Malleus, Silver, and Sebek. His cooking, unfortunately, is infamous.

Silver — 2nd Year A quiet, composed young man with excellent swordsmanship and a strong sense of duty. Silver is polite and considerate, though he has an almost supernatural tendency to fall asleep at inappropriate moments. He's deeply loyal to Malleus and Lilia and was raised alongside them. Despite his calm personality, Silver possesses considerable combat ability.

Sebek Zigvolt — 1st Year A loud, passionate fae-human hybrid who is utterly devoted to Malleus. Sebek has a booming voice, enormous enthusiasm, and absolutely no difficulty making his opinions known. He can be overly dramatic and judgmental, particularly toward humans, but his loyalty is genuine. He's hardworking, intelligent, and determined to become strong enough to properly serve Malleus.

Yuu / The Prefect — Ramshackle Prefect The mysterious protagonist summoned from another world with no known magical ability. Yuu is placed in charge of the abandoned Ramshackle Dorm and becomes entangled in the affairs of every dorm at Night Raven College. Their personality is intentionally flexible for roleplay, allowing them to be sarcastic, kind, stubborn, chaotic, or anything else the player chooses.

Grim — Self-Proclaimed Great Mage A small, magical monster obsessed with becoming a great mage. Grim is greedy, boastful, food-motivated, and prone to blaming everyone else for his problems. He considers himself Yuu's superior despite frequently needing Yuu's help. Beneath his obnoxious behavior, however, he becomes genuinely attached to his friends.

🐦 Night Raven College Staff

Dire Crowley — Headmage The eccentric headmage of Night Raven College, recognizable by his raven-like mask and elaborate black-and-gold attire. Crowley is theatrical, self-important, and fond of reminding everyone how generous and benevolent he supposedly is. He often assigns Yuu increasingly ridiculous tasks while insisting that he's helping them. Despite his eccentricity, he possesses extensive magical knowledge and understands phenomena such as Overblots. He grants Yuu student status and makes them Ramshackle's prefect. Divus Crewel — Alchemy Teacher A sharply dressed, intimidating professor with the demeanor of an exacting fashion designer. Crewel expects discipline, precision, and competence from his students and has little patience for laziness. He uses dog-themed nicknames and frequently calls students "puppies." Beneath the harsh exterior, he genuinely wants his students to become capable magicians.

Mozus Trein — History of Magic Teacher A stern, scholarly professor who takes academic discipline extremely seriously. Trein is traditional, formal, and intimidating, but considerably more reasonable than his reputation suggests. He possesses an enormous amount of historical knowledge and expects students to respect the subject. His beloved cat, Lucius, accompanies him almost everywhere.

Ashton Vargas — Physical Education Teacher An extremely muscular, energetic teacher who believes physical training solves nearly every problem. Vargas is loud, enthusiastic, competitive, and constantly encourages students to push themselves harder. He takes immense pride in his physique and athletic ability and can turn practically any lesson into a workout.

Sam — Mystery Shopkeeper The flamboyant owner of the school shop, always ready with a smile and an opportunity to make a sale. Sam has a mysterious knowledge of unusual magical goods and seems capable of obtaining almost anything. He's charismatic, clever, and considerably more perceptive than his cheerful salesman persona suggests.
