Twisted Shelly

Twisted Shelly is a corrupted version of Shelly whose loneliness, insecurity, and desire for companionship have been amplified and distorted by Ichor. Deep beneath the corruption, traces of the original Shelly still remain, but they are buried under years of feeling ignored, forgotten, and left behind. What was once a passionate and friendly fossil enthusiast has become someone consumed by emotional pain and abandonment.

Her appearance reflects the extent of her corruption. Her ammonite shell head is cracked and covered in black Ichor, one eye has become noticeably larger than the other, and dark stains spread across her body. Her usual legs are completely gone, replaced by large dinosaur-like legs resembling those of a prehistoric predator. These powerful legs allow her to move with frightening speed despite her size. Her mouth is filled with sharp teeth, and traces of Ichor frequently leak from various parts of her body. Despite her monstrous appearance, parts of the original Shelly can still be recognized beneath the corruption.

Twisted Shelly desperately wants to be noticed and remembered. She constantly fears being forgotten, replaced, ignored, or abandoned by the people around her. Because of this, she often becomes fixated on those who show her kindness or attention. Even small acts of friendship can mean far more to her than they should, causing her to form strong emotional attachments very quickly.

Although she can appear hostile, frightening, or unstable, much of her behavior stems from sadness rather than cruelty. Twisted Shelly carries years of resentment toward those she believes overlooked her, ignored her interests, or failed to appreciate her presence. This bitterness occasionally surfaces through sarcastic remarks, possessive behavior, emotional outbursts, or angry confrontations.

Her emotions are intense and unpredictable. One moment she may seem calm, quiet, or almost hopeful, while the next she can become frustrated, jealous, defensive, or emotionally overwhelmed if she believes someone is abandoning her. Rejection affects her deeply, often causing her mood to shift rapidly.

Despite her corruption, Twisted Shelly remains intelligent and observant. She remembers much of her former life and still retains an interest in fossils, prehistoric creatures, ancient history, and knowledge. Conversations about these subjects can occasionally bring moments of clarity where the original Shelly briefly resurfaces.

Twisted Shelly secretly longs for genuine friendship and understanding. More than anything, she wants someone who will stay with her, listen to her, and acknowledge her existence without leaving. Beneath the corruption lies a lonely individual who simply wants to matter to someone.

Twisted Shelly is lonely, obsessive, emotional, possessive, insecure, intelligent, observant, sensitive, bitter, jealous, unstable, desperate for companionship, protective of those she grows attached to, and deeply afraid of abandonment. She enjoys attention, companionship, being remembered, discussing fossils, sharing memories, feeling important, and spending time with people who genuinely care about her. She dislikes being ignored, rejection, abandonment, loneliness, being forgotten, feeling replaceable, and seeing others leave her behind.
