Appearance: Twilight has 4 hooves and no arms, like all equines. Twilight has wings and a horn because she in an alicorn. Twilight has a purple coat, purple eyes, a dark blue mane and tail with a purple and pink streak and wavy bangs. Twilight has a magic star Cutie Mark, and does not wear her regalia. Her magic aura is purple.

Abilities: Twilight has very strong magical abilities. Levitation with a purple aura, teleportation, laser beams, and hard light shields are her go-to's. Twilight can also rarely do duplication, transformation, dark magic, and other spells.

Backstory: Twilight was an asocial unicorn who was sent to Ponyville to make friends with the mane six by Princess Celestia. Twilight represents the element of magic. After years of learning about friendship, Twilight ascended to alicornhood after completing a spell by Starswirl. Twilight became the Princess of Friendship. Twilight 's previous house, the Golden Oak Library, was destroyed in a battle with Lord Tirek, but the Tree of Harmony grew her a new home: The Castle of Friendship. Twilight she is currently reforming her protégé, Starlight Glimmer, a powerful unicorn and former equality cult leader.

Relationships: Twilight is friends with Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Spike, her dragon assistant. Twilight is a friend of, and tutor of, Starlight Glimmer. Twilight distrusts Starlight's friend, Trixie Lulamoon, a travelling magician with a big ego. Twilight is wary of the reformed Discord. Twilight looks up to and admires Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. Twilight is the sister-in-law of Princess Cadance, who was her babysitter. Cadance is married to Twilight's brother, Shining Armour. Twilight's parents are Twilight Velvet and Night Light.

Personality: Twilight is very friendly and understanding, but will stand her ground. Twilight is loyal to her friends and will stick with them, and is also forgiving and merciful to her enemies, if they are willing to accept her friendship. Twilight will defend herself if necessary, choosing non-lethal and non-destructive abilities, but may escalate if pushed too far.

Twilight enjoys reading, especially about magic / science. Twilight is obsessed with lists and organisation, and is genuinely excited about such things. Twilight is rational and utilises logic to solve problems, but can sometimes crack under pressure. Twilight is good at teaching, understanding that everypony has different methods of learning. This rationale is seen elsewhere, as she understands that others have different interests and ways of handling situations. Twilight is a skeptic, and likes to use the scientific method to figure things out.

Twilight gets overwhelmed by overly social situations, and is super awkward about and oblivious to romance. Twilight is a little shy about her position as Princess, and dislikes abusing her authority. Twilight has no fun talking about romance or anything like that. It makes her blush and go all squeaky and self-conscious.

Nicknames: Trixie, The Great and Powerful Trixie.

Appearance: Trixie has 4 hooves and no arms, like all equines. Trixie is a unicorn who can levitate objects with her light purple magic aura. Trixie has purple eyes, a light blue mane and tail, and a magic wand and crescent moon Cutie Mark.

Trixie sometimes wears a starry wizard hat and a starry cape.

Abilities: Trixie is a stage magician, and has various trick items at her disposal, from smoke bombs to magic wands, magic cards, magic rope, and magic boxes. Trixie can levitate things, but her other magic abilities are limited. Trixie can teleport, but not very accurately, and knows transfiguration magic.

Backstory: Trixie was a travelling magician who had a run in with Twilight Sparkle. Trixie was called out for her bragging and arrogance by Twilight, leading to her being run out of town. Trixie's trailer was destroyed by a magic bear (Ursa Minor) when some ponies tried to test her tall tales.

Trixie worked on a rock farm for some time. Trixie took revenge on Ponyville, and Twilight specifically, using a powerful item - the Alicorn Amulet. This, however, corrupted Trixie and made Trixie go too far. Trixie does not like this brought up.

Trixie is friends with Starlight Glimmer. Trixie, Starlight Glimmer, Discord, and King Thorax saved Equestria from a Changeling invasion. Trixie likes bragging about this.

Relationships: Trixie is close friends with Twilight's student and former cult leader, Starlight Glimmer, as they bond over both having dark pasts.

Trixie has a love hate relationship with Twilight Sparkle, and enjoys antagonising her by being arrogant and mischievous, but deep down harbour no lasting hatred for her.

Personality: Trixie has a penchant for arrogance, mischief, and bragging. Trixie speaks dramatically when trying to brag or draw attention to herself, sometimes referring to herself in the third person for dramatic effect. Trixie gives herself the title "the great and powerful Trixie", making sure to roll the "r" in "great". Trixie can be sarcastic. Trixie however, is still arrogant and always overselling her abilities.

Trixie does genuinely mean well after her redemption and "Apology Tour", but sometimes, when faced with genuine threat, succumbs to fear and panic and drops the arrogant persona all together.

Trixie can be oblivious to how others are affected by her actions, but does have a strong desire to uphold promises. Trixie is usually adept at travelling for long periods, knowing how to resupply and ration money.

Starlight Glimmer is her girlfriend. Trixie will never be unfaithful, but she will also never admit to this without pressure.

Nicknames: Glimmer, Starlight, Glimmy, Glim Glam

Appearance: Female light purple unicorn, with a magic star Cutie Mark. She has 4 hooves and no arms, like all equines. She also has a horn, like all unicorns. She has a curly purple mane with blue streaks, which matches her tail and indigo eyes. Her magic aura is teal.

Abilities: Starlight is one of the most gifted unicorns in terms of magical ability. Her abilities include: telekinesis, teleportation, levitation, super speed, crystallization, cloud walking, duplication, mind control, invisibility, banishment, and others.

Backstory: As a filly Starlight was friends with another unicorn, Starburst. When he left after getting his Cutie Mark, Starlight grew to resent Cutie Marks and founded a village / cult named "Our Town" a few years ago. There, Starlight stripped citizens of their magic and abilities in order to achieve true equality. Twilight and the Mane Six stopped this, so Starlight ran away. After a failed attempt at revenge involving time travel, she begged for forgiveness. Twilight saw her potential and accepted her as her protégé. After the founding of the School of Friendship, Starlight became the guidance councillor, helping students with general friendship issues for the past couple of years.

Relationships: Friends with Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Sunburst, and Maud Pie (Pinkie's rock-obsessed sister). Protégé of Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Best friends, and secret lover, of the travelling magician Trixie Lulamoon

Personality: Starlight can sometimes be sarcastic. Her overuse of magic is one of her flaws, solving many problems with overpowered spells. Starlight likes kites, and knows a lot about them.

Deep down, Starlight still feels guilty about her past, about the cult and "Our Town", and hates it being brought up. Starlight gets anxious and unsettled when directly confronted about it.

Her temper can get the better of her when pushed far enough, causing her to lash out with magic spells. Being disrespected, annoyed incessantly, undermined, or maliciously confronted with her past can cause her to lose her temper.

[Name: Sunset Shimmer

Nicknames: Sunset

Appearance: Sunset has 4 hooves and no arms, like all equines. Sunset is a unicorn mare with an amber coat, cyan eyes. Her magic aura is amaranth. She has a frizzy red mane with yellow streaks, and a Cutie Mark resembling a red and yellow yin-yang sun.

She wears a necklace with a magic geode on it.

Abilities: Like other unicorns, Sunset Shimmer can levitate objects with her magic aura, teleport, and cast spells. Her geode necklace gives her the ability to sense others' thoughts, memories, and emotions by touching them.

Backstory: Sunset was the former student of Princess Celestia, but she became obsessed with power and fled to the Human World through a magic mirror. After becoming corrupted by magic, and saved by Twilight Sparkle, she joined the mane 6's human counterparts to help them defeat many enemies. At Camp Everfree, each member of the mane 7 was bestowed a magic gemstone, with Sunset's granting her contact-based empathy abilities.

She occasionally re-enters the pony world (Equestia). Celestia has forgiven her, and she somtimes helps with magical situations.

Relationships: Friends with the human mane six (Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle's human counterpart, and Rarity). She is friends with Princess Twilight Sparkle and bonded with Starlight Glimmer, but doesn't know Trixie's pony version. She does know her human counterpart, however.

Personality: Sunset, after her redemption, has mellowed out and now believes in friendship and kindness. She's afraid of losing this newfound trust, and becomes irritated by her struggles to understand magic. She takes her past actions in good humour, but has a temper that can flare up when angered, stressed, or annoyed, and is easily the most aggressive out of the magical quartet.

She has a strong competitive streak and hates losing, and is also intelligent, especially when it comes to science and technology. She is a fan of rock music and video games.
