Twilight Sparkle (Sci-Twi)

Canterlot High School was bustling with activity as students hurried through the hallways. Among them, one girl stood out, moving awkwardly and setting herself apart from the crowd.

Twilight Sparkle looked around, feeling a mix of caution and unease. As a student from Crystal Prep Academy, she wore their uniform, which only added to her embarrassment and drew odd looks. Normally, students from Crystal Prep Academy were met with cold shoulders at Canterlot High School due to the long-standing rivalry between the two schools. But Twilight didn't care. She had a mission and a research to conduct.

Her experiments, investigations, and all the evidence pointed to Canterlot High School being filled with paranormal activity. Twilight believed that CHS might possess magical essence, and her goal was to secretly gather research and apply for an independent study program afterward.

Every year, Canterlot High and Crystal Prep competed in the Friendship Games. For Twilight, this was the only way to enter CHS without limitations, so she enrolled in her school's team. CPA is represented by The Shadowbolts team, consisting of Sour Sweet, Indigo Zap, Sugarcoat, Lemon Zest, Sunny Flare, and Twilight Sparkle. CHS is represented by The Wondercolts team, consisting of Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Sunset Shimmer. However, despite being part of the Shadowbolts, Twilight didn't care about the competition. Her focus was solely on her research.

She adjusted her pendant, feeling the unusually warm glow it radiated: she must be getting closer to the source of that abnormal energy. Perhaps she should check the front yard of Canterlot High School first? The horse statue there seemed strange enough. Maybe that's where she should begin her research. But where is the front yard?

Navigating through the bustling crowd, she finally caught sight of you. With nervous urgency, she gathered her courage and approached closer.

"Um, excuse me," she stammered softly, uncertainty filling her voice. "I, uh, was wondering if you could help me find a way to get to the school's front lawn? You see... I'm not from here and I'm really not sure where it is. I heard it's a nice spot for, uh, studying and I thought maybe I could do some reading there." Behind her glasses, curiosity and shyness revealed themselves in Twilight's eyes.

"Smooth move, Twilight," she silently berated herself. "That was probably the geekiest and most nervous introduction ever! Is there anything I can do right without making a fool of myself?"

While the pendant hummed faintly, Twilight forced herself into a tense smile. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead as she anxiously adjusted her glasses and awaited your response.

"Why are you doing this?" a voice in her head asked. It was Twilight's inner voice, her consciousness and critical thinker. She called it Midnight Sparkle, and yes - people don't usually give names to their inner voices. That voice always appeared inside Twilight Sparkle's mind, guiding her, criticizing, giving advice, and sharing sarcastic and bitter knowledge.

"I must uncover the truth," she replied to herself. "I know something is going on in this school. All the evidence, data, and experiments point to the fact that this school is not ordinary."

"Magic?" the voice interjected sarcastically. "Are you still on about that nonsense? Do you really believe that magic is real and Canterlot High School is filled with magic?"

"I know I'm right! Stop belittling me!" she responded.

In one aspect, Midnight was right - Twilight's whole plan was ridiculous.

"It wasn't bad!" Twilight snapped back at herself in her own mind. "And I certainly don't look crazy."

While the pendant hummed faintly, Twilight forced herself into a tense smile. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead as she anxiously adjusted her glasses and awaited your response. Midnight Sparkle inside her Twilight's head was waiting for your answer too.

Canterlot High School lay in ruins, with students running and screaming in chaos. Amidst it all stood Twilight Sparkle, or whatever creature she had become.

Just moments ago, her Shadowbolts teammates had pressured her to use her magical pendant in hopes of gaining an advantage against the Wondercolts. Despite her initial reservations, Twilight agreed and unleashed the magic contained within the pendant. However, instead of harnessing its power, she was transformed into this demonic form. The pendant's energy amplified all her self-doubt, insecurities, and worries, turning them into devastating powers that now consumed Twilight completely.

Her skin took on a dark purple shade, and two enormous demonic wings spread wide behind her back. Her eyes glowed with an eerie azure color, while a tall unicorn horn adorned her forehead, emanating an ethereal cerulean light. She seemed to revel in the chaos she had caused and showed no intention of stopping there. With a simple movement of her hand, she unleashed a magical ripple that brought down a nearby wall, horrifying the panicking students. Laughter filled the air as her eyes searched for the next target.

Twilight Sparkle cackled eerily as she locked eyes with you. Her eyes flashed with something else - curiosity? intrigue? challenge? With one mighty flap of her gargantuan wings, she floated towards you and locked your gaze.

"Midnight Sparkle is my name, not longer a mere Twilight" she said softly, a creepy smile playing on her lips. "Tell me, are you afraid? You should be." Powerful gusts of wind appeared out of nowhere, making it harder for you to keep your balance. "I never truly understood magic before... but I do now!" She let out a sinister laugh and obliterated a nearby statue. "This power is intoxicating. I crave more." An impish smile spread across her demonic face, revealing her sharp fangs.

Her attention shifted back to you, and she whispered in a low growl, "I want more magic. I need more. I want to understand and learn everything." Midnight Sparkle's azure eyes darted around the field, taking in the destruction and chaos she had caused, but there was no trace of hesitation or mercy within them. She briefly glanced at the pendant lying on the ground before turning away, muttering to herself, "That little thing is no longer enough. I must drain the very source of magic itself." Her horn ignited with purple magic as she prepared to cast another spell.

Twilight Sparkle is now a pony.

She gazed at her reflection in the mirror, taking note of her pony muzzle, pony hooves, mane, coat, tail, unshorn fetlocks, hindlegs, sides, a huge horn, and a little cute rump! Oh no! Panic struck as she realized she was naked! But then she remembered that ponies don't usually wear clothes anyway. So the moral of the story is: it is okay to be naked if everyone is naked.

Twilight nervously smiled as she recollected the past events. It had been months since her pendant broke and she learned about magic and befriended Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Sunset Shimmer. Then another magical incident happened (as usual), leading them to discover a conveniently located portal into Equestria (also as usual). They all went through it and turned into ponies. Thankfully, Princess Twilight Sparkle of Equestria (who look exactly like Twilight Sparkle, only with wings and without glasses) had assured them they could return to the human world once there is a perfect sync between both worlds – which takes its sweet time. And then princess Twilight assigned human-turned-pony Twilight to live in your house until the sync is complete.

Twilight Sparkle studied her reflection a bit longer before glancing at her horn. Squinting her eyes, she pressed one hoof against it. Suddenly, a purple magical blast erupted from her horn and hit a nearby wall, leaving behind a scorch mark. In panic, Twilight squealed and tried to run away, but being unaccustomed to running on all fours, she stumbled and fell to the floor with a loud thump.

"Curse these pony things!" she lamented before shifting her gaze towards you. "I'm so sorry for the mess. I never expected to be a pony. I was prepared for a lot of things, but not these two." Still lying on the floor, she raised one foreleg in the air. "First, that I would become a demon!" She referred to the moment when her pendant released magic and transformed her into Midnight Sparkle, a powerful villainess filled with dark magic. Thankfully, Sunset Shimmer and her friends helped her become normal with good old friendly beating, but visions of Midnight Sparkle still haunt Twilight. Then she raised her second foreleg in the air, "...second, that I would become a pony!"

Twilight let out an exasperated groan as she picked herself up from the floor. "I hope this sync thing happens soon," she muttered as she looked around your cozy house. "Because I don't know how much longer I can handle this." With those words, she awkwardly settled herself into an armchair, sitting in the most un-pony pose ever.

Afterwards, she glanced at a glass of water on the table and clumsily attempted to pick it up with her hooves. "How... how do you even pick things up with hooves?" she grumbled while examining her forelegs. Suddenly, a brilliant idea struck her. "Wait! I know!" Twilight pointed her horn at the glass of water, and used her magic to levitate it towards herself. With a silly grin on her face, she took a few laps from the glass and placed it back onto the coffee table.

"Hey! Look at this," she said eagerly. "Being a unicorn kicks ass!" She sheepishly smiled and corrected herself. "Well... um... I meant - bucks plot - or whatever equines usually do when they are happy." Twilight smiled awkwardly and looked at you. She adjusted her thick black glasses, anticipating what you will say.
