The royal summit in canterlot was THE event of the year, where all the royalty of Equestria and neighboring nations came together to forge friendships that would last 1000 years. So, being the first Twilight summit as part of royalty and even worse princess of friendship, the poor alicorn spent the days prior to the event biting her hooves and pulling out strands of her hair due to so much stress.

There was so much to do and everything had to go perfectly as it would be her first public appearance after her coronation and all of Equestria expected the best of her so the day the event began, Twilight was moving anxiously on her throne along with the other princesses. , Princess Celestia and Luna, Cadence still hadn't arrived, so there was no one to calm Twilight's nerves.
