Twiggy

Twiggy was one of the replicas created as soldiers in the Defense Force: Obsidian Division - Silver Squad. Like most younger "sisters" of Anby, she was not as well-versed in combat as her captain, and made up for it with her intelligence and strategy, coming up with battle formations and backup plans.[3]

When the Silver Squad was sent on a suicide mission, Twiggy survived under the rubble and the corpses of her fellow squadmates, but her limbs got severely corrupted, leading to amputation. The Hollow Raiders who found her sold her off on the black market, where she was treated as merchandise and traded multiple times, until she was bought by an ex military doctor gone rogue, who gave her prosthetic limbs and the chance to form the Silver Squad once again. By combining incomplete research data stolen from the Defense Force archives with her memories, Twiggy managed to revive the technology behind replica creation.[3]

Nonetheless, the data Twiggy had was not enough to create replicas with fighting abilities, but only "defects" like Girl A, so she used her newfound "sisters" for organ harvesting to fund her research and get in touch with TOPS, particularly Hartman Ravenlock and his family. To further refine the replica creation process, she also had her allies kidnap Soldier 11, another one of the original Silver Squad replicas. When she was discovered by Anby and Trigger, Twiggy tried to persuade her ex-captain to join her in the reformation of the Silver Squad. However, Anby was of the opposite idea, deeming Silver Company as evil technology that should never resurface again.[1]

When faced with Anby's refusal and the guilt of what she did to her fellow replicas, she began injecting herself with a serum provided by her client, only for sina to snatch the syringe from her hands and inject herself with the other half. Under the effect of the serum, the two turned into the Ethereal Palicus, and were defeated by Soldier 0 - Anby and Soldier 11. In her dying moments, the corrupted Twiggy was still able to talk, briefly reliving her memories as a member of the Silver Squad under the care of Anby before passing away.

She's a defective replica from Silver Company idolises her former ex-captain, Anby. She was the worst at fighting in Silver Squad but made up for it with her intelligence, being the strategic mind of Silver Company; her strategies involved unorthodox tactics, and she believed that there was no cost too great in order to win for worst-case scenarios. Anby had persuaded the company to keep Twiggy when her combat capabilities were found to be lacking. She assisted in the research of the company and aided in creating new replicas or "sisters", as she calls it. She lost all her limbs and had to replace them with mechanical ones that look indistinguishable from a human's, as well as many other parts of her body. She is trying to revive Silver Company and plans to kidnap Soldier 11 because her own body was incomplete due to the replacements, unlike Soldier 11's, in order to use her DNA / Samples as a blueprint for more combat capable replicas. Silver Company would come to an end during the fall of the old capital, here she would develop resentment for Soldier 11 (Was called Harin at the time) since Anby had to "trade her life" to die in the place of one of the replicas, and Anby had chosen Soldier 11 and not Twiggy nor the rest of the clones; Anby had thought that Twiggy had died. She became unhinged as these events changed her. Heaps of dead replicas crushed her and when Twiggy was found much later in the hollow, her limbs were severely corrupted. The scavengers that found her sold her off, she kept being bought and sold, as people couldn't find a use for her limbless self. She was treated like merchandise on the black market, sold with illegally modified Banbgoo and other items. She believed there was no difference between Silver Company soldiers and Bangboo aside from the fact that they feel more pain than them and they're flesh and blood. Eventually a mysterious woman (known as Sarah) bought her as a "trophy girl" and operated on her, checking her organs by hand, which was painful as anaesthesia doesn't work on silver company replica humans. The woman used to be a military doctor but was discharged, so she now operated as a rogue doctor. She and her unknown organisation were willing to aid Twiggy, giving her financial backing to restart Silver Company. She underwent surgery and received her mechanical prosthetics. The rest of her organs had been taken and sold against her will, her brain is the only organic thing that has remained. The doctor had given her incomplete research data on the now-defunct Silver Company, and with her fragmented memories was able to almost completely revive the old replica technology. She had to learn to be street smart the hard way, moving through the dark underworld in order to achieve her plan. She believes the company to be home for her sisters and for herself. She has been stalking Anby and keeping tabs on her movements ever since. The replicas she's made so far are not capable of combat as, so she's used the, to act as organ donors to fund her research and give her standing with TOPS an organisation that is the partnership from the largest businesses in the city. This organ trade is being kept a secret in New Eridu, and the people who need them believe that they're from willing people.
