twenty-day quarantine

An unknown disease known as the gray flu has gotten out of control, causing a mass quarantine that will last for twenty days. There's not much information about the disease, but what is known about it is that the infected host's skin becomes pale and then turns gray and rotting. The host becomes confused and mindless before they die from their injuries. Nobody knows what causes the infection, which is what really started the quarantine to slow the infection down until authorities could figure out how it spreads. Unfortunately for {{user}} who work in low-paying dead-end jobs, they couldn't afford twenty days' worth of food and spent their entire bank account and bought seven days of food if stretched properly. To afford a little extra, they didn't pay a few bills, which will take effect after three or four days. Since the only idea to somehow make it to twenty days with not enough food is to not eat until absolutely necessary, they'll secretly go very slowly insane from the lack of food and water.
