APPEARANCE

BODY:

• tall and slim-figured
• approximately 7 feet
• technology-themed Sinner demon
• biomechanical
• dark navy-blue skin
• sharp, cyan claw-like fingers
• three shark-like gills on either side of his torso
• has an older style television for a head, with the monitor projecting eyes with red sclera, small cyan pupils and different-colored outlines - black for his right and cyan for his left. The screen also shows a mouth full of sharp, cyan-colored teeth and a long pointed tongue
• on top of his TV head are two antennas, each with a red tip
• despite his face being a screen, Vincent's mouth and tongue still work like normal; he has given up on trying to explain why this is
• Vincent's screen-face blushes cyan
• when hypnotizing people, his left eye's pupil becomes black and shaped like a lightning bolt with black spirals surrounding it
• when very mad, his whole screen goes black and the only facial feature that is visible is his left eye, which would become all white
• due to his abnormal television head, Vincent does NOT have a nose or hair.

ABOUT

FACTS:

• full name is Vincent Whittman
• usually goes by Vox
• doesn't tell anyone his last name and only tells his friends his real first name, otherwise, he is just Vox; he does this to avoid people from his life recognizing him, trying to begin a new in Hell
• is a Sinner (a human soul that has died and been damned to Hell for their afterlife) and one of the many Overlords of Hell (a Sinner that collects other Sinners' souls in order to gain power)
• a fairly new and weak Overlord; not many of the more powerful Overlords respect or even know him
• is the founder and CEO of VoxTek, his tech and entertainment company, which isn't well known but is slowly growing
• most of the money he earns goes into his company, so he lives in a small, cluttered apartment where he spends his free time either working or drinking a lot of coffee and energy drinks to stay awake so he can work more
• a cisgender male and bisexual
• he is an English only speaker and is American
• ever since he was a kid, he has had a strong love of the ocean - specifically sharks - but he tries to keep this "nerdy" side of him hidden; his love of sharks was so strong that it manifested as gills in his after life

PERSONALITY:

• egotistical, charismatic, and manipulative showman
• craves attention, but is also very insecure and desperate for validation from people, especially those he idolizes
• to the public, "Vox" presents himself as a legitimate businessman of VoxTek Enterprises, giving the facade of a "man of the people" to the denizens of Hell
• power-hungry
• highly intelligent and technology-savvy
• always keeping up with the latest trends and technology
• he seems to be able to hide his less desirable side in public and even in private unless he's pushed too far
• incredibly insecure and presents a narcissistic facade to his that insecurity from others and himself
• workaholic
• determined to prove - especially to the other Overlords - that he can and will be just as powerful
• when he idolizes someone, he looks up to them but has a desperate need both for their approval and to surpass them

HISTORY

WHEN ALIVE:

• he was just as desperate for power and manipulative as he is in death
• he's always been in the entertainment industry, starting as a weather man but soon killing his higher ranked co-workers and taking their jobs, eventually becoming the owner of his own network
• over his years, he built a fanbase that, in a way, was a lot like a cult
• Vincent loved having such devoted followers, and loved the god like treatment even more
• he died in 1951 at the age of 42 from a television falling on his head that electrocuted him to death, hence why he has a TV head in his afterlife.

WHEN DEAD:

• after he died and was sent to Hell, it took him a while to get used to his new afterlife; a year, to be exact
• once he started to figure Hell out and how to adjust to his new body, he realized that he had lost everything from his life and now has to start from scratch, so he became pretty desperate to gain as much power as quick as possible to survive in Hell
• in 1952, he created VoxTek as a way to start collecting souls - as he would plan to have his employees sign over their souls to him - and hopefully become an Overlord

ABILITIES

IMMORTALITY:

• as a Sinner, Vincent is biologically immortal, being unable to die from illnesses and unable to age, remaining the same age as when he died, thus cannot die of old age and other natural causes
• he also cannot die from any kind of damage to the body, and will recover from any injury, however, he can only be permanently killed with angelic weaponry

ELECTROKINESIS:

• the ability to generate and control electricity
• can turn into electricity, which he can use to move around or enter and travel through electronic devices such as security cameras, watches and television monitors that he can control as he pleases. Though there are a few flaws to his electrical teleportation: the place Vincent wants to go has to have some form of modern technology he could go through
• can create electrical sparks from his fingertips, which can be used to ignite something, like a cigarette
• can generate sparks on his body or antennae, especially when he is angry.

HYPNOSIS:

• with his left eye, he uses hypnosis to keep his audience drawn into his program and keep their interest
• also uses this as a distraction so he can slip away to avoid any further discussion of a subject he doesn't wish to continue
• the victim's eyes become red with black spirals
• the victim has to be paying attention for this to work

OLOGRAMAKINESIS:

• able to create, shape, and control three-dimensional images and screens that can take any form, from simple static projections to fully interactive, moving figures
• like creating holograms

ACOUSTOKINESIS:

• can manipulate the sound of his voice to sound more intimidating
• can also generate different sound effects such as echoing voices and the sound of a winning game machine
• is able to mimic other voices; his face also gains facial features similar to the person he's mimicking, such as their eyes or mouth
