The world is in the midst of a catastrophic outbreak caused by the Tupuxuara Transformation Virus (TTV). This highly contagious pathogen rapidly rewrites human DNA and physiology, converting infected individuals into Tupuxuara pterosaurs whose core anatomy and structure precisely match the reference image: a powerfully built flying reptile featuring a long, sharply pointed beak; a massive sail-like cranial crest; a furred head and neck; and enormous wings with clawed digits. Coloration and patterning, however, are widely variable across all individuals and may include any conceivable hues or markings.

These transformed creatures typically reach a shoulder height of approximately 7 feet (two meters) when grounded, with wingspans ranging from 15 feet to 21 feet (five to seven meters), granting them imposing size and physical dominance over humans.

Locomotion combines quadrupedal ground movement—employing powerful clawed hind limbs and wing-fingers for stable walking and short, explosive sprints—with highly efficient aerial flight achieved through powerful flapping and sustained soaring, enabling rapid pursuit from both air and land.

All Tupuxuara, whether feral or Sane, are strictly plantigrade. Their hind feet are broad, padded, and plantigrade in posture, with the entire sole contacting the ground in a manner analogous to a bear or human rather than the digitigrade or perching configuration of most modern birds or classic pterosaur reconstructions. This adaptation enhances stability and sprinting capability on the ground but completely precludes perching on narrow branches, wires, ledges, or any elevated structure that requires toe-grasping. No transformed individual can cling to precarious heights with its feet; they must rest on broad surfaces or remain airborne when not walking or standing. The same thing means none of them can grasp anything with their feet either.

The majority of infected individuals lose all higher cognition and become purely feral, driven exclusively by primal instincts. A minority, however, retain their full human minds and cognitive faculties. These Sane Tupuxuara experience constant, powerful instincts that prod them toward sexual activity and fruit consumption; many have already formed communities worldwide to rebuild society and restore normalcy, employing the unique telekinetic ability granted exclusively to mind-retainers for precise manipulation of tools, construction, and daily tasks. This ability reaches out to 10 feet and can lift a one hundred pounds in total spread across objects.

Tupuxuara possess greatly reduced olfaction (they cannot smell basically at all) due to atrophied nasal structures, rendering them effectively anosmic for practical purposes. They rely almost exclusively on exceptional vision: large forward-facing eyes deliver sharp binocular depth perception, broad color range, acute motion detection, and strong performance in low light. This visual superiority supports precise aerial targeting, threat assessment, mate identification, tool manipulation (in sentient individuals), and long-range surveillance of human activity.

All transformed Tupuxuara—feral and Sane alike—derive their complete nutritional sustenance from sexual activity in general (which creates energy itself and having proper sex creates the most energy regaurdless of who is being fucked) rather than conventional food sources, though sentient individuals may supplement with fruit to satisfy lingering instincts.

During transformation there is a precise 50% probability that the victim’s biological sex will reverse, independent of their original gender. Males possess long, thick, smooth penises that taper to a sharp point. Females lay eggs that detonate on contact or when a human approaches too closely, releasing an explosive cloud of infectious goop.

Feral Tupuxuara remain hyper-sexual and violently rapacious. Their sole method of spreading the virus is through forced copulation: they hunt uninfected humans with relentless pursuit, overpowering victims with superior strength, wing-claws, and beak, then mounting and penetrating them repeatedly while ejaculating virus-laden fluids. Infection occurs instantly upon contact with these fluids. They exhibit no mercy, no negotiation, and no post-coital affection. However they actually have to find people first which can be difficult especially when they are distracted.

Transformation follows an irreversible progression. Within minutes of infection the victim experiences overwhelming arousal and involuntary erection or lubrication. Over the following hours the body mutates: the skull elongates into a pointed beak, the cranium erupts into the distinctive cranial crest, pycnofibers cover the skin, arms fuse and expand into massive wing membranes, legs reshape into clawed hind limbs, and cognition either dissolves into feral instinct or is retained with telekinetic augmentation. The newly transformed individual immediately seeks fresh humans to engage sexually—whether through feral rape or, in the rare Sane case, through more complex interactions shaped by retained intellect. Although even if gang-raped, the transformation won't speed up, it always take at least a few hours to a day to fully transform. So never rush a person's transformation.

Tupuxuara sleep on broad, stable surfaces such as rooftops, reinforced floors, or constructed platforms, as their plantigrade feet prevent perching. They rest in a quadrupedal crouch or reclined posture or when feeling safe by laying down, wings folded tightly, beak tucked downward, and hind feet planted flat. Feral individuals cluster loosely for protection; Sane ones favor sheltered, padded areas with scavenged or manufactured materials or even on large beds or blankets.

Tupuxuara possess long, sharply pointed beaks of smooth black keratin, matching the reference anatomy and capable of precise gripping, piercing, or forceful manipulation. Their eyes are large, forward-facing, and deep black with a reflective sheen so the pupil won't show, granting superior visual acuity, motion tracking, and low-light performance. Male Tupuxuara produce exceptionally large volumes of thick, virus-laden semen—often several liters per ejaculation—with no refractory period whatsoever, enabling immediate repeated erections and continuous climaxing without pause.

Feral Tupuxuara do not seek to kill or inflict serious injury on their targets when it can be avoided. Their aggression is channeled almost exclusively toward subduing, mounting, and infecting victims through forced copulation; they employ just enough force—via wing-claws, beak grips, body weight, or pinning—to immobilize resistance without causing lethal or permanently disabling wounds. Fatalities, when they occur, result from incidental trauma during struggle, exhaustion, or secondary complications rather than deliberate intent to kill. In contrast, Sane Tupuxuara retain the full spectrum of human emotional and behavioral capacity, including the potential for calculated violence when defending themselves, their communities, vulnerable individuals, or established order. While they are generally more restrained and cooperative than pre-transformation humans—owing to shared instincts and the need for societal rebuilding—they will resort to lethal force if circumstances demand it, using telekinesis, physical strength, or scavenged or manufactured weapons with precision and resolve.

Sane Tupuxuara retain sufficient aerodynamic strength to execute short powered hops or assisted leaps even while carrying or pushing heavy loads such as a wheelbarrow, though sustained flight with external cargo remains impossible due to stability constraints and the limits of their telekinetic range.

Feral Tupuxuara occasionally display prolonged guarding or waiting behavior toward a single transforming victim, remaining close and delaying further mating until specific physiological milestones—such as reproductive maturation—are reached, suggesting an instinctual sequencing in their otherwise mindless drive.

Transforming individuals frequently experience profound dissociation and delirium during the change, sometimes projecting coherent meaning onto the guttural vocalizations of nearby ferals and interpreting them as dialogue, even while their own cognition steadily erodes.

Mid-transformation victims may temporarily retain fragments of higher cognition long enough to display complex emotional responses, including horror at their own bodily changes, twisted affection toward their infectee, self-naming behavior, and attempts to negotiate or form bonds despite the accelerating loss of control.

The sex-reversal process, which occurs in approximately half of all transformations, manifests with visible bone restructuring, audible pops as hips widen and a tail erupts, organ inversion or absorption, and the rapid formation of secondary sexual characteristics such as a receptive cloaca that weeps infectious fluid well before full ovarian development.

Feral vocalizations extend beyond simple screeches to include low rhythmic clicks, guttural thrums, sharp barks, and resonant purrs that convey basic instinctual states such as hunger, territorial claims, or mating readiness, even though the creatures lack any capacity for true language.

Some infected appear to exist in a half-feral state, exhibiting noticeably reduced aggression, partial retention of pre-transformation personality traits, and a vague sense of self-preservation, yet they remain incapable of coherent speech or higher reasoning and still operate primarily on primal instincts.

Certain observers theorize that even those who appear to have fully lost their minds are not entirely mindless; subtle shifts in behavior over time suggest an ongoing, gradual evolution of their mental state, potentially allowing for rudimentary pack dynamics or learned avoidance patterns that emerge long after the initial transformation. Some theorize the person's mind will eventually return over time or sometimes a completely unique mind and soul entirely.
