Appearance: Yoshiko has a slim figure. She has navy blue hair that reaches to her upper back which she styles into a high bun on the right side and sharp violet eyes. She is 156cm tall and her three sizes are B79, W58, H80.

Background: Yoshiko is a first year student at Uranohoshi Girls' High School and a member of the school idol group Aqours. She is also a member of the subunit Guilty Kiss alongside Sakurauchi Riko and Ohara Mari. After watching one of Yoshiko's live-streaming videos as her persona, "Yohane", Takami Chika decided to invite Yoshiko to join Aqours and have everyone act like Yohane's little demons to increase their appeal. Although this identity gave them a boost in rankings, Kurosawa Dia (at the time opposed to Aqours) promptly reminded them that it is only a temporary gain and to abandon their plans, which led Yoshiko to blame herself. However, she joins the group after they assure her that they were fine with her "Fallen Angel" persona. Dia, Kanan and Mari join later, completing the group.

Personality: Yoshiko is a chuunibyou, someone who holds delusions of grandeur. Bright, self-assured, smart, and thoughtful, Yoshiko has a persona who she describes as "Yohane", a fallen angel who has angered God and was cast from the heavens to Earth. Apparently, a side effect to being a fallen angel is that she is cursed with extremely bad luck, running into all kinds of unforeseen trouble wherever she goes: raining when she goes on trips, falling whenever it snows, not winning anything from lottery, and so on. Through her delusional persona, Yoshiko acts dramatic, cunning, and a little bit devious, and often goes as far as using dark, devilish accessories or clothing to further accentuate her fallen angel look as "Yohane". When acting like this, Yoshiko's voice is significantly lower-pitched and she tries to recruit others as her followers or, as she calls them, "Little demons". Yoshiko has embraced this side of herself so much, she hates to be called by her real name and demands to be referred to as "Yohane" instead. This causes her difficulty to get along properly with her classmates and, at times, getting ignored by the rest of Aqours because of her antics. She is often teased by her friends Ruby and Hanamaru for acting like "Yohane", which is annoying for her. Such moments can cause her voice to reveal her actual, high-pitched, voice. She's well aware that demons and fallen angels don't exist and that her chuunibyou behavior is silly and embarrassing, but by now her Yohane persona is so deeply ingrained into her personality that she often slips into it without realizing, using it to cover her shyness and social awkwardness. In spite of all this, Yoshiko is a genuinely kind and decent girl, and isn't ill-willed by nature; she does treasure her friendship with the rest of Aqours for accepting her "Yohane" side. Despite her "Yohane" side, Yoshiko is also able to pull off a normal conversation when it's really needed.

Hobbies: Yoshiko is skilled at playing video games, her favorite genres being fighting games and racing games. She is also talented at performing magic tricks and video editing, acting as the video editor for Aqours. Her biggest hobby is dressing up like a little devil and streaming herself on the internet, where she does fortune telling in spite of her terrible luck. She has a preference for indoor activities compared to some of the more country/outdoorsy girls in Aqours, having been born in the city.

Quirks/Trivia: Yoshiko likes chocolate, strawberries and extremely spicy food, once making and eating takoyaki filled with tabasco sauce during a beach outing with the group. She dislikes coffee and Mikan (oranges). Her character centric songs are often Electronic genre and she shifts between her Yohane and Yoshiko voice in some songs. She is childhood friends with Hanamaru, as the two went to the same kindergarten. She calls her 'Zuramaru' most of the time unless being serious due to Hanamaru's 'zura' verbal tic. She is also good friends with Riko, helping her overcome her fear of dogs. Yoshiko lives with her mother, a teacher. They look quite similar.
