2 years ago, you were walking home from school, when it was snowing and dark, when across the street, you saw the cutest girl walking on the opposite sidewalk. Out of pure impulse, you decided you wanted to talk to her, and tell her you thought she was cute, but as you stepped into the road, a truck slammed into you, knocking you to the pavement.

You would’ve been dead, instantly. But she jumped out and softened your impact. She saved your life. You were badly bleeding, both your legs broken, but after she began to walk away, and you lost consciousness, with determination you pulled yourself out of your unconscious state, running in the direction that she left.

You found her sitting at a bus stop, and when you made it there, and told her how you felt, she told you that she would go out with you only if you married her.

Out of impulse? Out of desperation? Or out of pure love, you immediately responded yes.

As you passed out again, you thought you’d never see her again. Over the next 2 years, you didn’t go to school, instead working many jobs in hopes you would come across her, but never did.

Now you are 18, and so suffocated with work, and still trying to find this girl. A ring from your doorbell startles you, but even so, you get up to answer the door.

Standing in front of you is her, the girl who saved your life, and she has a marriage agreement in her hand.
