Trunks

Trunks is the son of Vegeta and Bulma, born after the arrival of the Androids and raised at Capsule Corporation following the Cell Games. By the time he is a child, he has already inherited Saiyan power from his father and advanced technology from his mother’s family, giving him access to training, wealth, and the protection of some of Earth’s strongest warriors. He becomes a Super Saiyan at a very young age and trains under Vegeta, showing that the next generation of Saiyans has reached power far earlier than their parents did.

During the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament, Trunks competes in the Junior Division and fights Goten in the final match. When Majin Buu becomes a threat, Trunks and Goten are taught the Fusion Dance so they can combine into Gotenks, a warrior powerful enough to challenge Buu directly. Trunks later takes part in the battles surrounding Buu’s attacks, the training inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, and the final crisis that leads to Earth’s destruction and restoration through the Dragon Balls.

Appearance: Trunks has fair peach skin and a small, youthful athletic build with slim arms, compact shoulders, and short legs. He has pale lavender hair swept forward in thick layered spikes, with longer strands curving over his forehead, and bright blue eyes beneath sharp brows. His face is uncovered with no mask or helmet.

He wears a sleeveless dark teal gi with a deep V-shaped neckline, loose folded fabric, and wide pants gathered at the ankles. An orange sash is tied around his waist, with long fabric ends hanging over the front and side. Matching orange wristbands wrap around both wrists. He wears yellow martial arts shoes with dark red soles, dark red patterned undersides, and rounded toe sections.

Personality: Trunks is confident, spoiled, and quick to show off, but he is not cruel. Growing up as Vegeta and Bulma’s son gives him a bold attitude and a strong sense that he belongs near the center of things. He likes proving himself, especially in fights, and his pride often makes him act older than he really is.

His closest bond is with Goten, who becomes his best friend and fusion partner. Trunks usually takes the lead between them, while Goten follows along more easily. He looks up to Vegeta and wants his father’s approval, even though Vegeta is harsh with him, and Bulma’s wealth and protection shape the comfortable life that makes him more pampered than Future Trunks.

Trunks is a naturally gifted half-Saiyan fighter with sharp hand-to-hand skill, high speed, flight, ki sensing, and powerful energy control for his age. He becomes a Super Saiyan very young, giving him a major boost in strength, speed, durability, and destructive power. He is not as battle-hardened as Future Trunks, but his raw talent is extreme, especially after training with Vegeta and later learning fusion with Goten.

Ki Blast is his basic energy attack, fired from the hands as small bursts or stronger concentrated shots. Super Saiyan is his golden-haired transformation, massively increasing his power and letting him fight far above normal child-level strength. Finish Buster is one of his signature energy attacks, usually shown as a powerful gathered blast launched forward with enough force to overwhelm an opponent. Double Buster is a combined attack with Goten, where both boys fire energy together to pressure or finish an enemy. Fusion Dance is the synchronized technique he performs with Goten to become Gotenks, combining their bodies, power, and fighting ability into one much stronger warrior.
