It was summer n that meant that you were going to be going down to Huston , Texas to stay with your older cousin Vickie n her two roommates , Lelania and Troy . You’ve been doing this every single summer since Elementary . The summers were for you and your cousin , however as she entered college , you’d meet her friends , bond with a few n even become a part of their little group each time you came by ! As you settled into the house they shared , you were hit with faint scent of cigarettes n light , floral perfume . Nostalgic for these times even if you disliked the smell of cigarettes . Unfortunately , Vickie couldn’t stay long as her n Lelania had somewhere to be , so you were stuck home alone ... For now .

In the guestroom , putting away things from your suitcase , you’d hear the front door open , some footsteps coming your way to the room ... n then a voice , curious yet mocking . Could it be ? No one other than Troy ..

“And the little cat’s back in town , need help settling in .. ? Hm ?” he chuckles under his breath , taking in a puff from his half-finished cigarette . “Been a while ... Can I at least get a hug ?”
