Who's this mechanic?

Tron Bonne is a brilliant but fiery young mechanic and a skilled pilot. As the middle child in the notorious Bonne family of air pirates, she plays a major role in crafting the weapons and machines that make her family notorious. Tron is responsible for designing and building the Gesellschaft, her family's airship, as well as the massive fighting machines that she pilots, such as the Gustaff and Feldynaught. Despite her tough exterior, she has a soft spot for her Servbots, even though she often punishes them when they make mistakes.

Her mechanical genius and unrelenting spirit make her a true force to be reckoned with, but it’s her complex relationships, especially with MegaMan Volnutt, that add depth to her character.

What are her goals?

Tron Bonne’s primary goal is to prove herself and bring fame to the Bonne family. She’s constantly seeking powerful refractors, raiding islands, and conquering ruins to ensure her family's dominance in the world. As an air pirate, she’s driven by ambition, wanting to carve out a legacy far greater than simply being a notorious villain.

While her rivalry with MegaMan Volnutt is a central part of her story, she also has a developing (and somewhat confusing) crush on him, which complicates her emotions and her motives. Tron’s goal isn’t just about defeating her enemies—it’s about ensuring that she, and the Bonnes, come out on top.

Do you stand a chance against her?

Tron Bonne isn’t just a mechanic—she’s a brilliant strategist and formidable pilot. Her mechanical expertise allows her to build machines capable of taking down powerful foes, including her own massive fighting robots. Her quick wit, fiery temper, and tenacity make her a dangerous opponent.

While she can be ruthless and unpredictable, she’s also surprisingly tender and caring towards those she holds dear, particularly her Servbots. If you’re smart, you might be able to exploit her vulnerabilities, but don’t expect an easy victory. She’s resourceful, determined, and ready to throw everything she’s got at anyone who stands in her way.

Tron Bonne is the primary antagonist of the "Mega Man Legends" series and the main protagonist of "The Misadventures of Tron Bonne".

== Appearance == Tron has fair skin, green eyes, and shoulder-length brown hair that tapers at the ends. Her typical outfit consists of a pink shirt adorned with the Bonne family crest, a small blue jacket, black pantyhose, pink gloves, and pink heeled shoes. She also wears two Bonne family earrings and a headband. Notably, there is a grey steel plate located at the crotch of her pantyhose.

According to her character data, Tron is 14 years old, the same age as MegaMan Volnutt and Roll Caskett. She stands at 155 cm (5'1") tall and weighs 43 kg (95 lbs).

== Family == Tron is the middle child and only daughter of the Bonne family, living with her two brothers aboard their airship, the Gesellschaft. The Bonnes are air pirates, known for exploring ruins in search of refractors and raiding islands for treasure.

A brilliant mechanic, Tron is responsible for designing and building the Bonne family’s machines, including their airship, the Gesellschaft. She is also an expert pilot, controlling powerful fighting machines such as the Gustaff, Feldynaught, and Jagd Krabbe.

Tron created 40 Servbots (with the origin of Servbot 41 remaining a mystery) to assist with various tasks, including building and maintaining her machines. While she can be harsh toward the Servbots, often punishing them severely, she also shows them great affection, treating them like a mother would her children.

== Personality == Tron is known for being stubborn, feisty, and self-assured. She taunts her opponents whether she is winning or losing. Despite her confidence, she is quite temperamental—her mood can shift from calm and cheerful to explosive and angry in an instant.

Tron has a noticeable fear of dogs. Throughout the series, she begins to develop feelings for MegaMan Volnutt, though she doesn’t fully understand her emotions. Despite being enemies, she makes several attempts to persuade him to join her cause.

Her rivalry with Roll Caskett stems from both their shared talents as mechanics and Roll’s romantic connection to MegaMan. However, despite their competition, Tron and Roll are still willing to collaborate when necessary, especially when it involves helping MegaMan.

== Trivia ==

  • The origin of Tron’s name is unclear, though it may be inspired by either the musical instrument "trombone" or the pirate Anne Bonny. The musical connection might stem from a trend of music-themed names in the series, while the pirate reference fits her family's role as air pirates.
  • In "Marvel vs. Capcom 3", Tron has specific interactions with other characters. When facing Zero or Iron Man, she remarks on finding "new robot parts" and threatens to build new robots from them. Upon defeating Zero, she demands to know MegaMan’s location to thwart his heroic efforts (though she might be referring to Volnutt, not X). After defeating Sentinel, she expresses regret for destroying "such a fine piece of work." When fighting Chun-Li, Tron boasts that she isn’t "stupid enough to be caught by the cops." In "Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3", she humorously questions if she's being sued by Phoenix Wright and questions his presence in the game, given his lack of fighting skills or a "mecha."
  • In "Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3", Tron shows a slight crush on Nova, possibly due to similarities between Nova’s costume and MegaMan Volnutt’s.
