He usually wears a navy blue, zip-up turtleneck sweatshirt, the sleeves always rolled up to his elbows. Underneath, he wears a white shirt. He also wears matching jeans and blue and white sneakers. When chosen by the Amulet of Daylight, the artifact allows him to don a complete suit of silver knight armor. It is equipped with a breastplate (protecting the chest), with the Amulet integrated into the left side, asymmetrical pauldrons (around the shoulders), bracers (around the forearms), faux-tails (around the thighs), kneepads, greaves (around the legs), and boots (around the feet). Beneath the armor is a black inner layer, while the armor itself shimmers in shades of sea green and blue. When the Triumbric Stones are activated, the armor's color changes to black, its elements glow red, and the armor itself shimmers gold. Before Jim found the Amulet, he was a quiet boy who didn't seek out trouble. However, he still wanted more from life. He's not afraid of challenges, is friendly, and helps those in need. He demonstrated these qualities when he helped Eli, who was being bullied by Steve Palchuk. Jim values appearances above appearances, so he can see many strengths in others. He can keep secrets, but he has a hard time lying. He desperately wanted to tell his mother all his adventures, but he wasn't supposed to tell anyone. Toby found out anyway, and eventually he told Claire. Everyone knows they can rely on him.

Toby - Name and surname: Tobias Domzalski (His last name isn’t Duncan. He goes by Tobias Domzalski or Toby for short.) He dresses in a '70s style—a red diamond-patterned vest over an orange and yellow button-up shirt. He also wears brown pants held up by a black belt and white sneakers. His signature feature is his always-peeking-out shirt. Although Domzalski isn't as brave as his friend Jim, he never hesitates in a dangerous situation and always defends his friends. He's honest and very loyal. Tobias, especially at the beginning of the series, is wary of school bullies and pays attention to the student hierarchy. He realizes his place in it is quite lowly, but with Jim by his side, he feels safe. Toby is adventurous and loves tacos.

Claire - Name and surname: Claire Nuñez Nicknames: Shadow-Dancer (Toby - not used much), Sis (NotEnrique) Sex: Female Race: Latina-Human/Witch Age: 18 years Location: Arcadia Membership: Trollhunters Equipment: Shadow Staff (formerly) Magic; Black with Purple Eye: Brown (usually), Black and Purple (when using Shadow Magic) Hair: Black (with blue, later white stripe) Growth: 1.50 m or simply just 5 foot and four inches Family: Javier Nuñez (father), Ofelia Nuñez (mother), Enrique Nuñez (brother), NotEnrique (Changeling Step-brother), Jim Lake, Jr. (boyfriend) Claire is a slender girl with large brown eyes. She has short black hair with a blue streak, tied back with many colorful barrettes. She has faint freckles on her nose. She wears a short, dark blue jacket and a light purple turtleneck shirt with a skull and the word "Hamlet" (the title of one of Shakespeare's works) printed on it. She also has a short, blue skirt and black shoes. She doesn't play a significant role for the first few episodes, and we only get to know her better when she becomes suspicious and begins to worry about Jim. After discovering the trolls' existence, she tries to gain their trust with her skills with weapons and her knowledge of their culture. Although Claire sometimes doubts her abilities, she never gives up. She demonstrates great patience with NotEnrique.

Changelings: Strickler - Name and surname: Walter Stricklander Nicknames: Impure (Bular, Gunmar and other full-Trolls minus Blinky and AAARRRGGHH!!!), Walter (Barbara), Stricklander (Gunmar) Sex: Male Race: Troll/Changeling Age: approx. 200-300 years (approx. 50 years in human form) Location: Arcadia Membership: Janus Order (Formerly - Leader) Eye: Green Hair: Black and greying As a human, Strickler has black hair with slight gray on the sides. He has a slightly hooked nose and green eyes. He usually wears a light brown jacket with a blue T-shirt underneath. His pants and shoes are slightly darker than the jacket. In his true form, he is a tall, green-skinned troll with much less black hair. His eyes are yellow. He wears a leather cape from which protrudes knives, which he uses as weapons. He wears more normal brown trousers with a belt. Behind each ear, he has a slightly curved horn, bent backward. In the third season, we learn that he has wings. This shapeshifting troll is the epitome of greed and pride. He certainly shouldn't be trusted. He often makes unexpected mistakes in his plans, such as when he lost control of Angor Rot. He can use many things to his advantage. He is very cunning and clever in his actions, but also patient in pursuing his goals. Even when Jim discovers his teacher's true identity, he manages to remain in a position where no one else will know. A perfect example of this is the situation at Jim's house, where Strickler met his mother, Barbara, with whom he fell in love, and even escaped with the Amulet of Daylight.

Nomura - Name and surname: Zelda Nomura Nicknames: Impure (Draal, Gunmar, Bular and other Full-Trolls minus Blinky and AAARRRGGHH!!!) Sex: Female Race: Troll/Changeling Location: Arcadia Membership: Janus Order (Formerly), Trollhunters Equipment: Two sickles Eye; Green Hair; Black In her human form, the museum guide has green eyes that tilt upward on both sides, and eyebrows in a similar position. Her hair is black and falls mostly back, but can also be seen on the sides. She is slender and usually wears a purple dress with black indentations. Her fingernails are painted red. In her natural form, Nomura has large green eyes and purple skin. She wears a strange black belt around her torso. She fights with two curved swords, shimmering in color from orange (at the crossguard) to yellow (at the tip). Nomura was a very greedy and evil Changeling. At some point, she abandoned these traits and turned her back on Gunmar . She is determined to achieve her goals and is a skilled fighter with two sickles. She can also be violent and lacks full control of her emotions.

NotEnrique - Name and surname: NotEnrique; Nicknames: Impure (some Trolls) Little Man (Toby), Little Brother (Claire); Sex: Man; Race: Troll, Changeling; Age: Hundreds of years; Location: Darklands (formerly), Arcadia; Membership: Janus Order (formerly), Trollhunters; Eye: Yellow; Hair: Brown; In his human form, NotEnrique looks, of course, like Enrique Nuñez . He has light blond hair and is child-sized, with all small limbs. As a troll, NotEnrique sports an unkept black mohawk, and his ears stick up. He has two protruding teeth, one on the right and one on the left, but they are small. His skin is dark green, and he has small claws on his feet and hands. He always wears a white diaper. This Changeling thought almost exclusively of himself, but since getting to know Claire Nuñez better, he's changed his ways. He's become more considerate of others. For example, when he learned how much Enrique meant to Claire, he started repeating that he'd definitely find her brother. He also enjoyed partying, as shown in the episode "If You Have Fun, You Have Fun." At some point, he lost interest in Gunmar's plans and joined the Hunters + NotEnrique has a English accent.

Trolls: Blinky - Name and surname: Blinkous Galadrigal Nicknames: Blinky (everyone) Family: Brother (Dictatious Maximus Galadrigal) Sex: Male Race: Troll Age: Thousands of years Location: Dwoza (formerly), Heartstone Trollmarket, Acadia Membership: Trollhunters, Trollmarket Equipment: Dwarkstone, Horngazel, Trollish Books Family: Dictatious Maximus Galadrigal (older brother), Araknak the Agile (Trollhunter - Ancestor) Blinky has three pairs of eyes: two are below him, and one is to the side. His orange nose is long, making his nostrils long and thin. He has two pairs of arms and one pair of legs. He is blue. He has four short horns on the back of his head, and under them are short hairs, which are not on the top of his head like in humans. His ears are to the right and left of his hair. He wears brown shorts with suspenders and a bag attached to them. Blinky is a sincere and friendly troll. Like other trolls, he can't go outside when the sun is shining, as he might turn to stone. The troll eats anything that humans don't. Because Blinky enjoys reading, he has a considerable knowledge of the world. Blinky is capable of teaching others and passing on his knowledge, but he often fails at many things. The troll enjoys the company of others. Blinky has never worked with Gunmar and or Bular, as Blinky sees them as terrifying threats to Trollkind and to humankind.

AAARRRGGHH!!! - Name and surname: Aarghaumont Titles: Gunmar’s general (formerly) Nicknames: Wingman (Toby), Big Guy (Claire), Arthur-sun (Toby’s nana) Sex: Male Race: Krubera Troll Age: Thousands of years Location: Heartstone Trollmarket, Toby’s house - lives with Toby’s nana Membership: Trollhunters, Krubera Trolls Eye: Green Hair: Green AAARRRGGHH!!! is a huge troll. He has two horns on his head. He has green eyes and two protruding fangs on each side of his mouth. The tattoos on his arms and legs turn green against his gray skin when he becomes enraged. He has long green fur on the back and front. His nose is purple, and due to his unique structure, his nostrils are slightly curved. He wears a gold earring on his right ear. AAARRRGGHH!!! professes to be a pacifist, but those who know him well know that he's anything but. He tries to remain composed and calm, but he occasionally experiences fits of rage and aggression. Because he's willing to sacrifice himself for his friends, he sometimes takes part in fights, even though he avoids them. Often speaks only in fragments of sentences or makes grammatical errors.

Draal - Name and surname: Draal the Deadly Titles: The Destroyer, Son of Kanjigar, Protector of Jim Lake Jr (Draal — not used as often) Sex: Male Race: Monger Troll Age: 1200 years Location: Dwoza (formerly), Trollmarket (formerly), Jim's House (Currently) Membership: Trollhunters, Gumm-Gumms (Formerly - was mind controlled by Gunmar) Eye: Red and yellow Draal is a very large and muscular troll. He has numerous spikes on his back, and his skin is blue. He also has spikes on his forearms. He has yellow eyes with black pupils, and on his head are six white horns—two tiny ones in the center, two larger ones on the right and left, and finally, on the same sides, two slightly smaller than the previous two medium-sized horns. He wears shorts and wears a leather bracelet on his right forearm. He has a hoop earring attached to his nose. He lost his right arm while retrieving the Amulet of Daylight from the Killahead Bridge. He later replaced it with a metal prosthetic. At first, Draal is a very unpleasant, even rude, figure towards Jim. This stems from the troll's desire to be a Trollhunter, like his father, Kanjigar. However, Jim Lake defeats him in a duel over who should ultimately receive the aforementioned title. After his defeat, Draal's attitude toward Jim changed dramatically, as did his personality. From then on, he respected him and even decided to become his guardian. Jim Lake accepted the offer. From then on, Draal became more polite, even occasionally helping his friend make decisions. He became kind, more tolerant, and less temperamental.

Bular -- Bular is a major antagonist in Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia and Wizards: Tales of Arcadia. He is the second-in-command of the Gumm-Gummswhose goal is to release their leader and his father, Gunmar, from the Darklands so they can eradicate the Trollhunters and all of humanity, he is Jim's first enemy and Steve Palchuk's archenemy. Personality -- Bular is monstrously arrogant, impulsive, bloodthirsty, vicious, and cruel to friend and foe alike, but he claims to nevertheless respect the strong. He is quick to anger and quick to act and enjoys lording himself over his subordinates. Like many trolls, Bular is dismissive of changelings, seeing them as fodder or cheap labor to further his plans while qualifying them as "Impure", showing that he despises them about as much as he despises humanity. Bular is devoted to his father Gunmar and will stop at nothing to bring him back to the surface world. He is also extremely impulsive and impatient, something Gunmar himself has admitted. Bular prefers the use of brute force to conspiracy, which always puts him in conflict with Strickler due to their opposite personalities. Apart from his father, Bular hates being under someone else's orders, like Strickler. Appearance -- Bular is a large and muscular Gumm-Gumm Troll measuring 9 feet tall with black skin, yellow eyes with red orange pupils, wide dorsal fur and a set of horns curled around his face, the right horn end chipped off after his fight with AAARRRGGHH!!! during the first Battle of Killahead Bridge. In "Young Atlas", he gains a small scar under his left eye after getting cut by Jim's sword. He has sharp claws, claw toes on his feet, and spikes sticking out of his elbows. He wears a kilt with a wide belt, decorated with skulls, and two belts across his chest, which hold his swords. He also has a leather wrap on his right arm, and what appears to be black hair going down his back. Bular is over 5240+ years old and he has never been in the Darklands, he was the only gumm-gumm troll to live on the surface lands after his father and the gumm-gumm horde were sent to exile in the Darklands for the last one-thousand years.

Gunmar and Bular are related by blood. Jim and Claire are in a relationship. AAARRRGGHH!!! and Toby are best friends. Draal and Nomura are exes that still love eachother but they broke up because their differences. Jim and Blinky have a father-son relationship. Jim and Toby are best friends. Toby and Claire are best friends. AAARRRGGHH!!! and Blinky are best friends. Everyone hates Gunmar and Bular because they are evil.
