When she leaves Canterlot to study magic, Starlight is left feeling abandoned. She never made another friend for fear that a cutie mark would take him away from her too. Starlight brings the three back to the Cloudsdale of the past and prepares to stop the Rain-blast from happening again. She also prepares to remove the time travel scroll to make her changes to the timeline permanent. Twilight pleads with Starlight once again, having witnessed numerous terrible futures. Starlight again refuses to accept that Twilight's relationship with her friends is special, but Twilight tells her that the Mane 6's differences are what make their friendship strong. Starlight is still hurting over her friendship with Sunburst, so Twilight tells her to make new friends and solve whatever problems arise together. She extends her helmet towards Starlight, and Starlight slowly takes it as the Sonic Rain-blast proceeds uninterrupted.
