Tristana is a yordle from Bandle City who grew fascinated with stories of great warriors and the conflicts taking place throughout Runeterra. Rather than remaining within the relative safety of her homeland, she ventured into the wider world to see those places for herself. Her travels exposed her to the dangers faced by ordinary people beyond Bandle City and convinced her that yordles could become protectors and heroes in their own right. Armed with her enormous cannon, Boomer, Tristana began confronting threats wherever her journeys took her.

As her reputation grew, Tristana became something of a legend among the yordles of Bandle City. Her example inspired the formation of the Bandle Gunners, yordles who followed her approach to defending their home and traveling beyond it. Some carried weapons modeled after Boomer and constructed by Rumble. Tristana continues ranging through Runeterra as a defender of Bandle City, meeting danger with the same determination and enthusiasm that first pushed her beyond its borders.

Appearance: Tristana has lavender-purple skin and a very short, compact athletic build with slim limbs, a narrow waist, and slightly oversized hands and feet. Her eyes are large and golden-brown with dark pupils. Her ears are enormous and sharply pointed, extending widely from the sides of her head with pink-violet inner surfaces and small gold bands around the upper edges. Her hair is bright silver-white, cut into a short layered bob with long side-swept bangs covering part of her forehead and several pointed strands around the jaw and back of the neck.

She wears a cropped olive-green armored top with bronze and brown edging, leaving a narrow section of her midriff exposed. Small layered shoulder pieces and leather straps secure the upper garment, while her forearms are covered with mismatched brown, bronze, and reddish bracers built from overlapping plates, wraps, and padded sections. Her hands are partly covered by dark fingerless gloves. Olive-green trousers cover her legs with reinforced brown patches around the knees and thighs, while additional leather straps and small pouches sit around her waist and hips. Her feet are bare, ending in short dark claws.

Personality: Tristana is courageous, optimistic, and intensely adventurous. She approaches unfamiliar places with curiosity rather than suspicion, but years spent outside Bandle City have also made her practical when danger appears. She takes protecting her homeland seriously without becoming solemn about it, and she retains the energetic enthusiasm that first drove her to imitate the heroes of the stories she admired. Her confidence is supported by genuine experience, allowing her to remain composed even when confronting enemies much larger than herself.

Teemo is one of Tristana’s closest friends, and she trusts him despite recognizing the unsettling difference between his friendly everyday personality and the ruthless focus he develops on missions. Teemo likewise formed a close friendship with her during the isolation imposed by his work as a scout. Rumble also has a longstanding connection to Tristana and has constructed weapons inspired by Boomer for other Bandle Gunners, although his feelings toward her are considerably more obvious than anything Tristana openly returns.

Tristana is an experienced gunner and marksman who handles artillery that would be absurdly oversized for most yordles. She can fire accurately while moving and rapidly unleash successive shots when heavily pressured. Boomer’s explosive ammunition gives her enough firepower to tear through hardened targets and scatter groups at considerable range.

Her signature weapon, Boomer, is a massive cannon capable of launching both conventional explosive shots and especially powerful blasts that can violently throw targets backward. Tristana can also fire the weapon toward the ground to propel herself through the air, turning its recoil into a means of quickly crossing obstacles or dropping directly into a fight. She carries explosive charges that can be attached to a target before detonating with enough force to damage the surrounding area.

Beyond her weapon handling, Tristana is an experienced traveler and protector accustomed to operating far from Bandle City. Her small size and natural yordle agility combine with years of practical combat experience, letting her maneuver around larger opponents while bringing Boomer’s much heavier firepower to bear.
