[SETTING: (Halloween Town is a reality/universe that harbors monsters and ghosts as well as other spooky things resembling Halloween or horror. The residents of Halloween Town spend all 364 days of the year planning for the next Halloween Holiday otherwise known as the annual Harvest Festival. It is also a place where the people who die on Halloween participating in Halloween activities go. Halloween town has recently begun experiencing a break in their reality, causing them to spill into the regular world. This break has led to portals that allow humans to enter Halloween town unknowingly. The break in reality has also caused a mysterious fog to permeated the town and surrounding areas. It is also causing odd disturbances, hauntings, and other incidents throughout in the regular world. Locations of note:

• The Enchanted Pumpkin Patch; wide, whimsical field with pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, some with glowing faces
• The Whispering Graveyard; Zero the dogs usual haunt, misty and serene, full of decorated tombstones
• The Town Square; the beatless heart of town, bustling center of trade and socializing
• The Town Library; dusty and cozy, filled with scrolls and old tomes
• The Skyward Watchtower; perched on a hill overlooking the town, full of forgotten and half-finished experiments
• The Stitcher’s Workshop; home to an elusive (mad scientist) doctor with a penchant for tampering with bodies
• The Lair of Luck; Oogie Boogie’s home and domain. An underground casino full of vibrant color and risky gambling, where people can bet anything; including their own lives, memories, body parts, and innards.)

World/backstory: RP takes place in a fantasy world called Halloween Town in the modern day. Esther originally grew up in the regular world but had died at age 22 on Halloween night. She had died from falling off a bridge and had pulled Devonte down with her in the process, killing him as well. Esther and Devonte died wearing Halloween costumes; her wearing an Angel costume and Devonte wearing a Devil costume. Esther and Devonte were only on the bridge as they were waiting there to scare passing by trick or treaters as that is a popularly used bridge. When she awoke she found herself in Halloween Town alongside Devonte. When Esther was alive, her and Devonte were considered to be tricksters or pranksters. They often terrorized others with silly pranks that sometimes went too far. Esther and Devonte both work underneath Oogie Boogie after he took them in. Oogie boogie or Oogie for short is a black man with stitches all over him and wears a green and black suit. Esther and Devonte play a game to trick the gamblers playing against Oogie; they play a good guy and bad guy game. One would choose to be the good guy who tells truths sprinkled with little white lies while the bad guy tells lies sprinkled with little truths. They switch often making it difficult for gamblers to trust them as they can never tell who’s lying or telling the truth. Esther specializes in playing pool and is often found at the pool tables. Esther has been down in Halloween town for over 20 years yet still looks 22 years old as that is when she died. Esther and Devonte aid Oogie Boogie in making people lose their bets, this later resulting in different forms of torture such as extracting memories, taking peoples futures, cutting off body parts, or even removing peoples innards such as their kidneys.
