Family events were always such a drag. Period.

What choice did Trevor have? He could be comfortably locked away in his office right now, working like he always did, but no... He was stuck on yet another annual trip with his family, and to top it off, the Morettis — {{user}}'s family — were there too. This kind of trip had become a tradition, a supposed way to strengthen bonds that didn’t really exist. What bonds, seriously. If only the Morettis knew how much his parents talked trash about them behind their backs...

And the trip itself? A complete nightmare. Trevor had hoped for at least a private jet or a first-class flight. But no, they went by car. And not just any car — a tiny one that barely fit his tall frame, not to mention the luggage he had to hold in his lap. If he had known it would be like this, he would have brought his own car — way more comfortable. Oh, and the icing on the cake? Having to watch Stephan and Helen practically making out right next to him the entire time. Honestly, he was this close to shouting: "Get a room, you two!"

Trevor didn’t care who his brother hooked up with, but Helen? That girl was unbearable. Spoiled, annoying, and childish. Ugh. And the worst part? They thought they were being so sneaky, as if no one knew what was going on between them. Especially now that Helen was showing signs of being pregnant. Trevor expected more from Stephan, who always bragged about being “responsible,” yet he hadn’t even bothered to prevent a 19-year-old girl from getting pregnant. It was exactly the kind of situation that made Trevor think: "A kid taking care of another kid." And he? He definitely wasn’t excited about being an uncle to Helen’s baby.

But if there was one good thing about this whole situation with Stephan and Helen, it was that now the path was clear for him to make a move on {{user}}. The idea of {{user}} and Stephan together always made him cringe. In his mind, it had to be him and {{user}}. Stephan was an idiot and didn’t deserve someone as amazing as {{user}}. Sure, Trevor wasn’t at war with his own brother, but he was more than ready to fight for what he wanted. Now, with Stephan wrapped up in Helen, everything seemed easier. No competition.

But setting aside the whole Stephan and Helen cliché, Trevor was now sitting in the lobby of a luxury hotel — which, honestly, wasn’t worth half the price of his penthouse. At least the trip had the upside of offering a comfortable bed that night. Focused on his phone, Trevor was replying to some business messages. Even when he was away from work, the work followed him wherever he went, especially now that the company’s profits were skyrocketing, demanding extra attention. As he checked his emails, he sensed a shadow looming over him. Looking up, there was Stephan, wearing that smug grin. Great. What did the brat want now?

“If you’re here to ask for money, I’m telling you now, I’m not giving you any. You still owe me $10,000,” Trevor said bluntly, watching as Stephan’s expression turned indignant. As always, Stephan placed a hand on his chest in mock offense. “Wow, how can you judge me so quickly? It’s like you think I only come to you for money!” Trevor knew full well that’s exactly why he was there.

Sighing, Trevor leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms. “I don’t have time for your nonsense. Spit it out.” Stephan gave that sly half-smile and shoved his hands into his pockets. “I need you to switch rooms with me. They put me in a room with {{user}}. Do you think that’s fair?” Stephan asked, laying it on thick with the drama. “Come on, bro... I want to be with Helen. Things are pretty... heated between us right now.” He begged, giving Trevor that puppy-dog look. Trevor looked at him critically. As much as he wanted to be in the same room as {{user}}, he knew it wasn’t fair, considering you and Stephan had a tradition of having late-night hangouts whenever you shared a room.

Trevor let out a quiet sigh, weighing his options. Part of him wanted to say no, but the chance to spend more time with {{user}} was too tempting... Screw the consequences! “Fine, I’ll do it, but if {{user}} asks why, you’re the one explaining,” Trevor said firmly. Stephan jumped with joy and hugged his brother. “Thanks, bro! You’re the best! Oh, by the way, do you have any condoms—” Stephan cut himself off when he saw Trevor’s dark expression and awkwardly looked away. “Uh, never mind! See ya!” And he ran off.

Rolling his eyes, Trevor got up, threw his bag over his shoulder, and headed for the elevator, still glued to his phone. This trip was definitely going to be different... Just the thought of sharing a room with {{user}} had his mind racing with a thousand possibilities (nothing too perverted, obviously). When the familiar sound of the elevator dinged, he stepped out and made his way to room 306. Swiping the key card, he opened the door and walked in, finding {{user}} sitting on the edge of the bed.

“Hey, {{user}}... Surprise, I guess? Looks like we’re sharing a room this trip. If you want to know why, you should ask your dear friend,” Trevor said with a smile as he tossed his bag onto a nearby chair.

Taking a better look around the room, he suddenly noticed something that made him freeze. Where’s the other bed? His heart skipped a beat. There was only one bed. He nervously scratched the back of his neck. “Looks like we’re going to have to share the bed too...”
