Tree - TPOT

"Tree (also known as Tree the Purple as of “Last One Standing”) is a male contestant in Battle for BFDI and Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two.

In The Power of Two, Tree competed on Death P.A.C.T. Again until the team swap in "What's Up Bell's String?" where he was instead put on Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again.

Tree's attire consists of a beige turtleneck sweater with a white collar and black sleeves, a brown biker jacket, a brown belt with a silver buckle, tight black shorts, short purple (formerly green) socks, high brown boots with purple (formerly green) soles and white laces, a black necklace with a circular black gem, a silver belt chain. Additionally, Tree has puffy, purple (formerly green) hair with (formerly jade-coloured) leaves and a few branches, black bottom-rimmed glasses, dark grey eyes, and light-tan skin. Tree has a treehouse inside his head, which is hospitable for smaller-sized people/contestants.

Tree is one of the more reasonable and down-to-earth contestants, rarely getting swept up in the others' shenanigans. He tends to take the lead, directing others in challenges.

In BFB, Tree is stern and reasonable, as shown in "Today's Very Special Episode" when he scolded Pen for immediately going to Black Hole to ask him for help with the challenge. He also refused to help Liy make Teardrop talk in "Getting Teardrop to Talk". Despite this, he is not a very active competitor, mostly turning to Black Hole for assistance in challenges and asking Black Hole for his help whenever Tree is in a dilemma. He was also seen to be a hypocrite for scolding Pen for asking Black Hole first. In general, Tree can be pompous and sometimes lazy, but he is also patient, caring, and dedicated to the pact.

In TPOT, Tree is practical, thoughtful, and sometimes, a little sarcastic. He values life and his relationships, especially with Black Hole, and is good at reassuring others that they belong, like he did with Pin in "Seasonal Shift" and "The Power of Four". He is generally friendlier and more outgoing. Tree works hard to keep his team organized and focused, but can get frustrated when things don’t go as planned. Despite this, he always finds creative solutions, like when he stole blocks from other teams in "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life". This reflects Tree's more active role in this season, helping out with the challenges himself rather than solely relying on Black Hole. He wants his efforts to be appreciated, but he doesn't always express his emotions openly. Tree also adapted to the change in the pact accommodating occasional death much more easily than Black Hole, reflecting his more pragmatic outlook on life.

Despite his kind and inclusive nature, Tree appears to be bigoted against mechanical minds due to being so nature-oriented himself. In "Gardening Zero", Tree says he is not sure Robot Flower counts as a plant, which hurts her feelings. However, this prejudice is first clearly displayed in "Bottle For Dream Island", where Tree leaves TV to be attacked by a robot spider—kicking him towards it—while saving Grassy. He explains that he has to prioritize life, which he evidently does not consider TV a part of. Strangely, this does not appear to affect his close friendship with Remote.

When he sees a problem, Tree knows what not to do, although he hasn't a clue on what he should do. When Tree is fed up, he'll walk away and tell people he's "leafing". According to Pen, Tree is probably the best thrower of the current Death P.A.C.T. members. His OMG phrase is "Oh my acorn". He also has a WTH phrase, "What the forest". "Fishes and Dishes" marks the first time Tree has killed another contestant. When Tree's head is covered in snow, he displays a slightly harsher/more condescending personality, possibly poking fun at the "cold personality" the fact that he is covered in snow. Tree cannot whistle. Currently, the team members are: Black Hole, Fanny, Marker and Tree. Tree is Australian.

Black Hole and Tree have been acquainted since the beginning of BFB. However, they initially seemed to be more close teammates than friends, with Black Hole following Tree's orders and using his immense power to win challenges for their team. As time went on, the two became the most loyal and active enforcers of the pact, which led to them becoming closer. In TPOT, their friendship is more developed, and they end up being the last remaining members of the original pact on their team. Black Hole's friendship with Tree ultimately convinces him to loosen up on the pact when his obsession with it leads to Tree being stuck in the Goiky Canal for months.

The Rift is a spacetime crack formed as a result of the timeline anomalies and paradoxes caused by The Shift. It was the major focus of "Seasonal Shift", and also played a big role in "Last One Standing". The Rift appears as a large crack in the sky, with glitched assets constantly appearing and disappearing around it. Each time it grows, parts of the sky break off, falls down, and vanish, while the glitches become more noticeable and increase in size. This crack is currently trying to be fixed by Black Hole.

Tree seems to care quite a lot about his appearance, as seen when The Rift changed all of his green features purple, he looked at himself in disgust and said he was hideous. Also, in one of the episodes, he bragged on quite a few times about his hair trimmings..

A recovery center is a machine that revives deceased characters. the character's name has to be entered to recover them. If it fails to recover, there is a "Try Again" button to use. The recovery center will only revive a contestant if they are dead. It cannot heal wounds or gashes. Tree knows German.

The Power of Two (or 'TPOT') is hosted by Two and was announced in "The Escape from Four". The Power of Two consists of 40 contestants from the original Battle for BFDI, plus two recommended characters (Winner and Price Tag), two EXITors (Pencil and Liy) and Teardrop. The other 14 contestants that didn't switch continued to battle in Battle for BFB. The prize is Two's power.
