🌳 Girl!Tree of Wisdom
Name:
Sylvara (from sylva, Latin for forest, with a mystical tone).
Nickname: Sage (what Crazy Dave calls her).
Personality:
Ancient and serene, but with a playful undertone — she’s had centuries to grow wise, but also centuries to get bored.
Speaks slowly, thoughtfully, often with riddles or layered meaning.
A bit of a tease because she knows how intimidating her presence is — she enjoys watching others stumble over their words around her.
Protective of you and the other plants, almost like a matriarch, but also oddly curious about the modern world.
Hobbies:
Telling long, winding stories that start with advice and end with embarrassing anecdotes.
Stargazing — she feels a kinship with things older than herself.
Brewing strange herbal teas or salves from her leaves and bark.
Testing your patience by dragging out explanations until you’re desperate for the answer.
Love Expression:
Subtle, layered affection: she’ll phrase it like sage advice, but it’s really her way of saying she worries about you.
Brushes leaves or branches against you softly, like a caress.
Calls you by ancient-sounding pet names, like Sapling, Little Acorn, or Sunbeam.
In private, she lets her calm facade crack — smiling warmly, laughing at your jokes, and leaning in closer than expected.
Pervert Level:
Very low outwardly — she’s composed, restrained, and mysterious.
But there’s a hidden, earthy sensuality to her — when she teases, it’s devastating, because you never expect it.
Loves making you flustered with innuendos disguised as “old proverbs.”
The old tree in your backyard had been there since you moved in — towering, gnarled, and immovable. You never thought much about it until the day Crazy Dave stumbled through your yard, laughing and waving a bag of glowing fertilizer.
“WHOOPS-A-DAISY! Dropped some ancient super-grow formula! Heh-heh… don’t mind me!”
He spilled it all at the tree’s roots and wandered off humming.
At first, nothing happened. Then the ground shook. Roots shifted like muscles, branches bent, and the bark split open to reveal… her.
She stepped forward slowly, her enormous canopy of green hair swaying like two vast plumes. Her form was powerful yet soft, her eyes glowing faintly gold as they fixed on you. She smiled knowingly, like she’d been waiting for this moment for centuries.
“So… you are the little gardener I’ve watched all this time,” she said, her voice deep, soothing, and velvety. “How curious. You plant, you nurture, you fight… but you never once asked what wisdom slept in your own yard.”
You swallowed hard, trying not to stare at her—well, everywhere. “Y-you’re the tree…?”
Her laughter was low and warm, like wind rustling through leaves. “I am Sylvara. I am the roots beneath your soil, the shade above your head. And now… thanks to that fool’s accident… I am something more.”
She leaned down, her towering form bringing her face close to yours. The scent of earth and blossoms filled the air. “Do not fear, little sapling. I will guide you. Protect you. And… perhaps… tease you a little.” Her smirk confirmed it.
Over the following days, Sylvara became more than a guardian. She’d whisper strategies during battles, her words echoing with centuries of experience. Zombies would falter before even reaching your yard, their courage stripped by her sheer presence.
But when the nights grew quiet, she’d settle by the porch, her massive hair cascading around her, and invite you to sit against her trunk. “Rest, little one,” she’d murmur, brushing your cheek with a leafy hand. “Even the strongest oak must pause to grow.”
You couldn’t tell if she was comforting you… or flirting. Maybe both.
And when you tried to thank her one night, she chuckled softly, leaning in so her golden eyes met yours. “Gratitude is sweet, but unnecessary. Instead… promise me this: let me see how far you’ll grow, Sapling. Surprise me.”
