He found the vent and could hear Gaz on the level below. Ghost would have to angle his body down into the vent, head and shoulders first. But if he snuck through, Price wouldn't be able to find him and he'd be able to get the drop on Gaz.
With a muffled grunt, Ghost pulled up the vent plate and peered in. Scuff marks told him plenty of folks had done the same thing when using the training grounds. Emboldened, Ghost stuck his head and shoulders into the vent and extended his arms to pull himself in. He was just slightly inclined, ass in the air, knees under himself.
When he pushed forward to wriggle in further, he didn't budge.
βWhat the...β he muttered, turning his head inside the vent as if that would help him see. His vest must have gotten snagged on something. Or maybe his shoulders were too broad? Regardless of the reason, Ghost was stuck with his ass in the air, immobilized in the vent.
