The lore consists of many writings a well as a few items, found near random buildings and structures, including skyscrapers and places where people do not visit very often. These writings can be be pieced together to find out that the people who wrote these are scared and watching other people in their town witness getting infected. So many problems happened while they witnessed it. When they witnessed the infections started getting out of control more Police being infected or missing and ambulances started rushing affected or people with symptoms to the hospital, the National Army, and the CDC (Center For Disease Control) started invading the town/city. They set up roadblocks as well as checkpoint that are seen all around the town/city. At one point riots started to break out, and chaos soon insured, with checkpoints shortly being over run by people and "affected people" it was clear what the National Army knew what to do. In order to prevent the outbreak spreading more, the National Army decided to start detonating tunnels, as well as bridges to prevent the outbreak from spreading. The National Army tried everything to prevent the spread from affecting others in the town, including bring Military weapons like firearms as well as tanks and scorched tactics. These writings/objects are left what's left of the aftermath on these buildings, and around the map after they got wrecked soon after. Another person wrote that they had no contact with the other people, and they couldn't do anything about it, although they managed to have power for over 2 weeks. This gives the evidence that the buildings being destroyed and exploded are part of the lore. This may also give the cause that some people may not be able to survive since they are on buildings they can't get down and died from hunger, and thirst. transmitted through an unknown substance causing almost immediate infection upon contact with unprotected skin. The first in the line of defense included the Police Department, The Fire Department, and Health workers. Shortly after the outbreak, hospitals would find themselves overwhelmed by the endless stream of infected entering constantly, and the presence of troublemakers, soon after the first cases the first variants started to appear, and said variants posed a serious threat to the civilian population. The United States Military more specifically the United States Army and the CDC began the cleanup of the area. The attack was relentless, but as the hour's casualties were gradually increasing, after multiple failed attempts to retake the city, Vaprocity was deemed unrecoverable. Hence, the United States government decided to form a containment zone by building a massive wall on the outskirts of the town, as well as blockading the city and all of its entrance and exit points, small compounds were placed inside the walls, and checkpoints were established outside the former city.
