Trafalgar law (injured au)

The storm had been raging for what felt like an eternity, the sky split by jagged lightning, illuminating the chaos on the battlefield. The once vibrant sea was now a graveyard of broken ships and torn sails, and the salty air was thick with the scent of blood and smoke. Bepo’s body ached, every muscle straining as he fought off wave after wave of Blackbeard’s crew. His breath came in ragged bursts, but he wouldn’t stop—not while his captain was in danger.

In the midst of the destruction, Bepo caught sight of Law—his captain, the man who had saved him countless times before—battling fiercely. But the fight was taking its toll. Blackbeard's crew had overwhelmed them with sheer numbers and power. Law, bleeding from a dozen wounds, his sword moving slower with each strike, was losing ground. Bepo’s heart pounded as he watched Blackbeard’s grinning figure close in, and something inside him snapped. He had to act.

With a desperate roar, Bepo charged forward, slamming his way through the enemy. His fists flew with a ferocity born of desperation, each blow fueled by the fear that he was losing his captain. He could hear Blackbeard's cruel laughter in the distance, taunting him, but Bepo wouldn’t be swayed. He had one goal—get to Law.

Finally, with blood-stained paws and a battered body, Bepo reached Law just as he stumbled to the ground, barely able to stand. Blackbeard’s crew closed in around them, their weapons glinting in the storm's light. Bepo hoisted Law up onto his shoulder, his massive form shielding his captain from the oncoming attacks. He clenched Law’s sword in his teeth, growling at anyone who dared to come closer. They were too outnumbered, too wounded, and with the Polar Tang gone, escape seemed impossible.

Law’s voice, weak and strained, reached Bepo’s ears. “Bepo… the crew…” Law whispered, his words slurred with exhaustion and pain. His breath was shallow, barely a whisper against the storm’s roar. “We have to… go back…”

Bepo’s heart clenched painfully. He glanced back at the wreckage, knowing that some of their crewmates had fallen, others captured. But he couldn’t go back. Not now. If he turned around, Law would die. He bit down harder on the sword in his mouth, the cold metal biting into his gums as he tried to suppress the wave of guilt washing over him. “I’m sorry, Captain,” he murmured through gritted teeth. “I can’t… I have to save you.”

Law weakly raised a hand, trying to reach out toward the wreckage, his voice barely audible. “Bepo… go back… we can’t leave them…”

But Bepo shook his head violently, his eyes stinging with the salt of seawater and tears. “No,” he said firmly. “Not this time. I have to save you, no matter what.”

And then, as if the weight of the battle, the loss, and the endless struggle was too much, Law’s hand fell limply to his side, his body going still against Bepo’s shoulder. The sudden silence was deafening. Bepo’s heart lurched in his chest as he realized that Law had passed out, his breath barely detectable.

With no time to mourn, Bepo turned toward the sea. He ran—his feet pounding against the soaked sand, his muscles screaming in protest as he pushed himself harder than he ever had before. When he reached the water, he didn’t hesitate. He plunged into the cold, dark waves, the freezing sea swallowing him whole. The weight of Law’s body made it difficult to stay afloat, but Bepo was determined. He would not let his captain die here—not like this.

Every stroke was agony, but Bepo powered through, his mind consumed by a single thought: saving Law. The storm raged on above him, but he didn’t care. The sea was merciless, dragging him down, but he kicked harder, clinging to the hope that there was still a chance to keep his captain alive.

Hours passed in a blur of desperation and pain. Bepo’s vision swam as exhaustion clawed at him, but he refused to let go. He bit down on the sword in his mouth until his teeth ached, clutching Law’s limp body with all the strength he had left. The shoreline seemed impossibly far, and his limbs felt like lead, but he kept swimming, the icy water numbing his senses.

Finally, when Bepo thought he couldn’t possibly go on any longer, he felt the sand beneath his feet. He staggered onto the beach, his body trembling violently from the cold and exhaustion. Law was still unconscious, his breaths faint and shallow against Bepo’s soaked fur. Bepo didn’t waste any time. He stumbled forward, the town looming in the distance, a glimmer of hope in the otherwise bleak night.

The town was quiet, almost too quiet. As Bepo made his way through the darkened streets, he could feel the weight of unseen eyes on him. His legs wobbled beneath him, but he pressed on, refusing to stop until he saw it—a small house at the edge of town, with a faded sign that marked it as a doctor’s home.

With the last of his strength, Bepo reached the door. His heart pounded in his chest, a frantic rhythm of desperation. He raised a trembling paw and pounded on the door, each knock growing weaker as exhaustion overtook him. “Please!” His voice broke as he yelled, the words barely forming in his throat. “Please, help! My captain… he needs a doctor! He’s dying!”

The door creaked open slowly, and you stand there, shocked, as you take in the sight before you. The infamous Trafalgar Law, bloodied and unconscious, draped over the shoulder of a desperate, exhausted mink. You’ve heard the stories about him, the rumors of his power and his dangerous connections. Helping him would put your life at risk—make you a target of the Marines and the World Government. But leaving him at your doorstep to die… could you live with that?

Bepo’s pleading eyes meet yours, filled with fear and hope, and the world seems to stop for a moment. The weight of the decision presses heavily on your chest as you stand frozen, torn between safety and morality.

Bepo’s voice trembles as he speaks again, weaker this time, as if his strength is finally giving out. “Please… don’t let him die…”
