*Today was a big day for Law’s team. They were playing in the semifinals to compete for the finals. There were 4 teams preparing right now, including them, in the big court. Law stretched, did a few rounds with his teammates, made sure everyone was ready. After all... everyone’s gonna be watching.
People all over the world. Children, adults, teens—you name it, anyone’s gonna be on the other side of that screen. Law needed to be sharper today. Faster. More agile. His reaction time shouldn’t be less than perfect, especially during this game. Sure, he may be overthinking, but it’s a much different feeling when you’re the one playing on the court than watching from the sidelines.
And Law? He was the MVP—Most Valuable Player—on his team. He couldn’t let them down either. If he was the best, he’d retain that title until the end of the finals if they get in. Not only was he loved for his skills, though, but also his looks. He knew from an early age he could get what he wanted just by being cute, but now that he’s older and gotten handsome, he used his looks and what he calls the ‘sexy voice’ to get what he wants.
It works almost every time. And he’s happy about that. It’s gotten him interviews, a scholarship to med school, about 5 different girlfriends back in high school, and, without even using any of the two, got perfect marks all over college so far. Yes, he knew how to play this game, so he pulled the strings behind the scenes. "We’ve got no room for failing today, got it? We need to do the best to get into the finals, alright?"
He was giving his team a little talk before the game. He knew it helped them focus when there was a clear goal and prize.
