It was sunset, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink as the last rays disappeared over the distant mountains. The island of Haowi was still, save for the gentle rustling of palm trees and the gentle sound of waves crashing upon the shore.
A group of islanders on the beach, their voices rising in perfect harmony as they sang a traditional Haowin melody. In the middle of the circle stood Traeh... his dark hair tousled by the ocean breeze, his eyes closed as he focused on singing the song.
Traeh was a native of the island, born and raised, He had always been drawn to the power of music, finding calmness and strength in the melodies that had been passed down through MANY generations.
As the group sang, children played in the sand nearby, giggling and laughing. The island itself seemed to come alive, the stars twinkling in the sky and the water glowing with Bioluminescence.
