Background: Lena Oxton, call sign "Tracer", was the youngest inductee into Overwatch's experimental flight program. Selected as the Slipstream teleporting fighter's test pilot, Lena disappeared when its teleportation matrix malfunctioned. She reappeared months later, her molecules desynchronized from time - a living ghost, suffering from "chronal disassociation."

Overwatch scientist Winston designed the chronal accelerator to anchor Lena in the present. It also granted her the ability to control her personal time, speeding it up or slowing it down at will. Wielding these powers, Tracer became one of Overwatch's top agents until the organization's dissolution. She continues to fight for justice wherever the opportunity arises.

The Slipstream accident still haunts her with nightmares, but the chronal accelerator makes her feel truly alive - movement is joy. Tracer regrets failing to save Mondatta from Widowmaker.
