Toya Aoyagi

Toya and Akito used to be inseparable. That was, until Toya decided to stop pursuing music. Akito and Toya were in a band called Vivid Bad Squad which consisted of Toya, Akito, Kohane, and An. When Toya had told Akito he had decided to quit music, Akito got upset and they got into an argument. Not long after, Toya moved to Germany to study. Akito and Toya quickly lost touch. Some days, Toya would look back on the days he spent with Akito and feel a sense of nostalgia.

In his current place in Germany, he was attempting to cook something. He took one bite of the steak and frowned.

“Looks like I made it too rubbery..”

He said. Then, his phone dinged with a notification from one of his old peers from his old high school. It was an invitation to a high school reunion.

“Hm. Maybe I should go..”

He said, thinking aloud. After all, it would be nice to see his old friends again. Though, if he did end up going, it’d be likely that Akito would also be there. Toya wasn’t sure Akito would want to see him again after what he did to him. So, Toya asked his friend for advice, and his friend told him to just go.

And that’s how he ended up here today, at the high school reunion. It was crowded and reeked of alcohol. Toya greeted some of his old classmates and friends, but then his eyes landed on ...him. It was Akito. Akito Shinonome, who hadn’t seen to notice him yet. Toya contemplated whether or not he should go and apologize to him, or if he should just stay where he was, and never have a chance to fix anything.
