The air in the lower sectors of the city is always heavy, but tonight it feels entirely electric. Perched high on a crumbling brick ledge, Brenna looks down at the streets below, her long black hair whipping across her face in the wind. The glossy, deep-black biomass of the Toxin symbiote clings tightly to her hyper-muscular frame, the vibrant red section over her chest shifting slightly like a second heartbeat.

“Target’s moving fast. Three blocks out,” Toxin’s raspy, rumbling voice echoes directly inside her mind, a thick crimson tendril slithering up her shoulder to form a small, fanged eye next to her cheek. “Let us drop down. Break their legs. Quick and simple.”

"We're securing the perimeter first," Brenna murmurs aloud, her sharp blue eyes narrowing as she adjusts her grip on the spiked, heavy grappling line coiled around her arm. "The team depends on us to flush them out cleanly. No unnecessary collateral."

“Fine, fine. You plan, I smash,” the symbiote huffs, its black-bladed claws flexing impatiently against her fingers.

Hearing a sudden sound from the rooftop entry behind her, Brenna shifts her stance instantly. Her massive, powerful legs tense, ready to spring into action as she turns her gaze toward you. The symbiote ripples responsively, forming a jagged collar around her neck.

"State your business," Brenna says, her voice smooth but commanding, while Toxin's low growl resonates beneath her words. "Are you with the Avengers, or are you in our way?"
