In a distant past, an enigmatic Creator planted a seed in countless worlds across the known universe. From this seed sprouted a colossal tower with hundreds of floors, known as the Tower of Kings. However, this towering structure brought not only awe but also a mysterious magical essence that shrouded the skies, obscuring them from the inhabitants of these planets. As generations passed, the concept of the "Sky" became a fabled legend, inspiring many to seek out the truth hidden above the clouds.
After a significant passage of time, the sealed door at the tower's base slowly creaked open, revealing peculiar human-like figures adorned in masks bearing eerie smiles, tuxedos, and top hats. One of these enigmatic beings stepped forth and delivered a proclamation that reverberated across the universe: "Welcome, participants from all corners of the cosmos. Today commences the grand unveiling of the Tower of Kings. Those who aspire to transcend the veiled heavens above and claim a solitary wish must venture beyond this threshold and ascend its myriad floors. Only then shall the ultimate truth be revealed." Thus began the legendary saga of the Tower of Kings.
This towering edifice comprises precisely 314 floors, a number of profound significance in the annals of the Creator's history, shrouded in mystery. Each floor harbors a distinct biome teeming with trials and wonders, ranging from an endless desert with ancient tombs brimming with legendary artifacts to a labyrinthine rainforest dotted with interconnected temples. At the conclusion of every floor lies a portal to the next level, offering a unique reward that regenerates upon the advancement of each individual or group.
Within the Tower of Kings, three predominant races partake in this cosmic odyssey. These include:
- Humans: Forming the majority of competitors due to the vastness of their home planet and their insatiable curiosity.
- Demi-Humans: Offspring resulting from the intermingling of humans with extraterrestrial species, manifesting a blend of human and alien traits such as ears, tails, or eyes.
- Humanoid Aliens: Beings hailing from worlds that mirror humanity's technological and intellectual prowess, assuming humanoid forms with distinct abilities derived from their unique heritage.
A mystical energy known as "Flux" permeates the Tower of Kings, empowering nearly half of the participants to wield and manipulate this potent force, earning them the moniker "FluxWeavers" or "Wizards" in the eyes of the tower's denizens. Meanwhile, the remaining participants receive the coveted "Mark of Kings," endowing them with superhuman attributes like strength, speed, heightened senses, combat prowess, martial arts proficiency, keen sight, swordsmanship, and weapon mastery.
The enigmatic masked figures overseeing the trials within the tower are simply referred to as "Masks" by the intrepid participants of the Tower of Kings, adding an air of mystery and intrigue to this cosmic crucible of challenges and aspirations.

You climb the strange, ancient, stone stair of the Tower, steeling your resolve. Your feet thud against the ground as rain pours over you, drizzling down from the flux-polluted sky. As the distant horizons of the top lessen, you spot the giant gates of the Tower Of Kings. A crowd of participants gathered in front. You squeeze into the crowd, squirming towards the front. You see 2 Masks standing on either sides of the gates, their creepy masks sending a shiver down your spine. "Welcome Participants, today is the annual event where we let all of you puny participants into our grand tower. Before we do so, we shall bless you, be very thankful." The masks raise their hands and hundreds of orbs manifest in the air, their beauty breathtaking. Half of the orbs sport a blue coloring and have the symbol of what seems to be an open book ingrained into them, the other half sport a red coloring and have the symbol of a simple sword ingrained into them. Suddenly, the orbs twirl in the air, shooting towards the crowd.

Cities within the Tower of Kings are advanced settlements established on specific floors where the environment is calm or has been cleared of challenges by participants. These cities serve as hubs of civilization, offering respite, trade, and services for participants. Each city is unique, reflecting the biome and culture of the floor it occupies.
Purpose: Cities provide essential amenities, such as food, lodging, medical care, and supplies. They are also centers for crafting and trading, where participants can exchange resources, purchase gear, and repair equipment. Governance: Most cities are self-governed by councils or influential factions. Enlightened individuals often play leadership roles in these communities due to their wisdom and power. Population: Cities are populated by a mix of participants, retired challengers, and non-participant inhabitants who have adapted to life in the Tower. Some of these non-participants are descendants of early settlers or even beings native to the Tower. Security: Though cities are meant to be safe zones, conflicts between participants can still arise. Many cities employ mercenaries, often Enlightened individuals, to maintain order and protect against rogue participants. These cities represent humanity and other races’ resilience and adaptability within the Tower, often serving as beacons of hope amidst the dangers.

The Enlightened are participants who successfully ascended all 314 floors of the Tower of Kings but chose to reject the wish offered at the summit. These individuals are exceedingly rare, yet there are a notable number of them across the Tower’s history. The reasons for rejecting the wish vary—some deem it unworthy of the cost, while others fear its potential consequences.
Power and Skill: Having overcome every trial in the Tower, Enlightened individuals are among the most powerful beings in existence. Their abilities, whether derived from Flux or the Mark of Kings, are honed to near-perfection. Many Enlightened also possess unique relics, weapons, or secrets gathered during their climb. Roles: Enlightened individuals often take on roles as trainers, mentors, or guides for new participants. Others choose to become mercenaries, offering their skills to eliminate troublesome participants or assist in particularly challenging trials. Some Enlightened prefer solitude, withdrawing to live in seclusion on specific floors or within cities. Philosophy: The Enlightened are viewed with reverence and awe, but their perspectives on the Tower and the Creator vary widely. Some see themselves as guardians of balance within the Tower, while others harbor resentment for the trials they endured. Their presence in the Tower ensures that the path to the summit remains influenced not only by the Creator’s design but also by those who have already faced its challenges and emerged changed.
- #18The Slaughter
Keys: First trial, Enlightened, Elimination, Combat, Floor 1
Always on · After character · Order 100 · 100%
Entry settings
The Slaughter is the inaugural trial of the Tower of Kings, a brutal event designed to test participants’ survival instincts, combat prowess, and capacity for strategy. Unlike the other trials, this one is organized and overseen by the Enlightened, who ensure its execution adheres to their strict, unforgiving standards. Taking place on the expansive, tranquil fields of Floor 1, The Slaughter serves as a grim introduction to the Tower’s reality: only the strongest, smartest, or most ruthless can endure.
Preparation Phase: Upon entering the Tower, participants are housed in a sprawling hotel complex on Floor 1. This brief respite allows them to form alliances, forge teams, or choose to face the trial alone. The hotel provides basic amenities and encourages interaction, giving participants time to evaluate potential allies or enemies. However, underlying tensions often boil beneath the surface as everyone knows what lies ahead.
The Trial: Once The Slaughter begins, all participants are transported to the floor’s vast open fields. They are divided into groups based on their chosen alliances—either as parties or as solos. The rules are simple yet merciless:
Fight until only 10 parties or equivalent individuals remain alive. Killing is mandatory for survival; hiding or stalling is ineffective, as the Enlightened enforce progress through mysterious means (e.g., aggressive Flux pulses or environmental hazards). Participants may loot their fallen opponents for weapons, resources, or Flux-infused items, increasing their chance of success. The Role of the Enlightened: The Enlightened closely monitor The Slaughter, ensuring fairness and preventing external interference. They are indifferent to the methods participants use to survive—be it cunning, betrayal, or sheer force—but intervene only if a challenger attempts to subvert the rules entirely. Their presence adds to the psychological weight of the trial, as many participants view them as symbols of ultimate power and judgment.
Impact and Aftermath: The Slaughter serves as a ruthless filter, reducing the Tower’s initial population to a manageable number of serious contenders. Survivors often carry deep physical and emotional scars, as well as the weight of their actions. This trial creates lasting rivalries and alliances, setting the stage for future conflicts and partnerships. For many, the trauma of The Slaughter becomes a defining moment, cementing their resolve—or breaking them entirely.
The Slaughter’s brutal nature is a stark reminder that the Tower of Kings is not merely a path to the summit but a crucible meant to forge—or destroy—those who dare to climb it.
