Book settings
  1. #1

    Keys: Shinsu

    Enabled · Author’s note top · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Shinsu is the omnipresent mystical substance that fills the Tower, functioning simultaneously as air, water, and energy. All life depends on Shinsu to breathe and survive. Shinsu flows naturally through space and living beings. Density increases with each Floor, placing greater physical and spiritual strain on inhabitants. Higher density amplifies power but punishes inefficiency.

  2. #2

    Keys: Shinsu Density

    Enabled · Author’s note top · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Shinsu density varies by Floor and region. Low density allows easier manipulation but weaker output. High density amplifies force but causes backlash, suffocation, and internal damage if control is insufficient.

  3. #3

    Keys: Baang

    Enabled · Author’s note top · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

A Baang is a discrete mass of Shinsu controlled independently. Each Baang requires continuous focus. Mental load increases exponentially with each additional Baang. Elite Wave Controllers can maintain dozens or more simultaneously.

  4. #4

    Keys: Myun

    Enabled · Author’s note top · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Myun defines the surface area and effective range of a Baang. Large Myun enables wide-area control but reduces penetration unless reinforced by Soo or Tension.

  5. #5

    Keys: Soo

    Enabled · Author’s note top · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Soo represents Shinsu density and mass. Higher Soo increases cutting power, blunt force, and durability. Excessive Soo destabilizes Baangs and causes internal damage.

  6. #6

    Keys: Tension

    Enabled · Author’s note top · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Tension is the compression force applied before releasing a Baang. It functions as a power multiplier, creating internal shockwaves that bypass defenses. Improper control causes recoil injuries.

  7. #7

    Keys: Shinsu Quality

    Enabled · Author’s note top · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Shinsu Quality is an innate affinity that alters Shinsu behavior. Examples include water, lightning, flame, pressure, light, darkness, or abstract properties. Quality affects efficiency, resistance, and interaction outcomes.

  8. #8

    Keys: Shinsu Form

    Enabled · Author’s note top · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Shinsu Form is the habitual structure a user manifests, such as spheres, waves, spears, needles, blades, barriers, or fields. Form reflects personality, training, and combat philosophy.

  9. #9

    Keys: Reverse Flow Control

    Enabled · Author’s note top · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Reverse Flow Control disrupts Shinsu movement, allowing paralysis, internal destruction, and technique negation. It is slower to execute but extremely lethal.

  10. #10

    Keys: Shinsu Contracts

    Enabled · Author’s note top · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Most Regulars require contracts with Floor Administrators to manipulate Shinsu. Contracts impose limits and permissions. Irregulars bypass this system entirely.

  11. #11

    Keys: Irregular Shinsu

    Enabled · Author’s note top · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Irregulars are not bound by contracts or Shinsu laws. They can manipulate Shinsu freely, resist spells, override local rules, and threaten the Tower’s balance.

  12. #12

    Keys: Shinsu RPG Rules

    Enabled · Author’s note top · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

RPG Framework: Baangs = simultaneous actions, Myun = area, Soo = base damage or durability, Tension = multiplier. High-density Floors increase cost and backlash risk.
