Touya Mochizuki

Touya has a benevolent personality, as can be seen when he quickly forgave God for the latter's mistake, even when it had cost him his own life[22]. As the story progress, he forms a grudgeless friendship with God, as shown when the latter suddenly and happily calls Touya to congratulate his engagement with Yumina[23], or when Touya defended God's name when the latter was being insulted by Nest, a priest from the Ramissh Theocracy[24]. He also quickly forgave Renne, who had been forced to pick-pocket him. Yet, he helped her when she was into trouble, bought her lunch, offered her a place to stay, and gave her a job[25][26].

He is considerate and chivalrous, easily lending his hand for the sake of others. For example, when he saved Elze and Linze from being swindled and fought the men[27], or when he decided to help Yae from being cornered by a group of henchmen[28]. More examples can be seen when Touya promptly saved the severely injured and dying Sakura's life in an Eashen mountain area[29], or when he instantly decided to help a group of Lestia Knights to fight a Phrase, then quickly gave three extremely powerful crystal swords to Hilde, who seemed to like them[30][31].

Touya is also shown to be altruistic, as he is always willing to help without expecting any return. This can be seen on many occasions, such as when he immediately raced to save Sue's carriage, which was being ambushed[32] and then thoughtfully recovered the duchess's eyesight[33], yet refused the reward Duke Alfred had offered him as thanks for saving his wife and daughter[34], or when he without second guessing accompanied the Duke to the Belfastian royal palace[35], quickly saved the King's life[36], and found the culprit[37], yet refused his noble title accolade afterward[38].

He is also shown to have neither prejudice nor xenophobia toward other species. This value is apparent when he kindly helped Arma a demi-human when she was lost in Alephis Capital City[39] and also expressing irritation when people mistreated the other species [40][41]. He even employs Lain, who is a rabbit beastwoman[42] and assigned her to serve as commander of the knight order[43]. At least five of his first knights are not human (a vampire, alurane, orge, and two lamias), but he only turns away others for failing interviews to test their personalities. Furthermore, he even married[44] a fairy, Leen[45] and a demi-human, Sakura[46]. This essentially is due to his modern Earth morals and viewpoint; Touya enjoyed fantasy stories, which often portrayed non-humans as protagonists[citation needed].

Despite having a favorable personality, Touya is also shown to have sadistic tendencies. Notably, when Touya was unaware that what he has done to Kokuyou and Sango with a continuous 【Slip】 spell was cruel[47], or when he tortured General Bazoar inside an airtight box with a stinky dead slime inside while simultaneously using continuously 【Slip】 spell on the summoned demon[48]. Touya can lose his temper and become brutal towards anyone threatening or insulting someone he cares about, especially his family. When the despicable ex-prince Zabun threatened Touya's country and fiancees (Linze and Yae specifically), Touya snapped and shot the man's limbs until he passed out; he then healed Zabun so he could be given the death penalty by his brother Cloud[citation needed]. Another example is when Touya tossed the head of the undead king of Region of Sandora to an aquatic summoned beast that ate rotten flesh [citation needed].

Unarmed combat - Touya can employ punches, kicks, and throws at some level. His grandfather taught him. Swordsmanship - Touya can use swords to take down enemies[49]. His swordsmanship ability is quite formidable as he can withstand and even scratch Moroha Mochizuki a few times[50]. However, according to himself, his swordplay technique is inferior to Yae's swordplay[51]. Marksmanship - Touya is skilled in the use of long-range weaponry, most notably with Brunhild, and has exceptionally good aim with it. Magic [Magic Mastery] - Touya can control all seven magical elements[52]. He also can use any null magic spell as long as he knows the incantation[53]. Touya's magic power is also superior, as mentioned by Linze when they had a magic aptitude test[54] which was able to knock down a divine beast using only raw energy[55]. His magic energy regeneration is also very fast as he barely decreased his magical energy because of his regeneration rate even after releasing a massive amount of mana[56]. List of Null Magic spells that Touya uses frequently: 【Gate】 - A spell that creates a passage to any existing location that one can vividly think of, such as places you've been before. 【Apport】 - A spell that draws a distant object into one's hand by visualizing the object in your mind, limited only by size. 【Slip】 - A spell that reduces friction for a short period of time. Boosted Basic Abilities - Touya received an ability boost from World God[57]: Strength - Despite his strength is being boosted by God, his strength is still inferior than Elze's[58]. Agility - Touya can dodge an attack, and he even can precisely estimate the attack trajectory[59]. Memory - Touya can easily memorize things[60] which allowed him to learn writing. Reading the script of the world's language faster[61]. God Power (神力 Shinriki?) - Because his body is made from material that exists in Divine Realm[62], he can use divine power which can be given to "the one who God loves"FAMILY[63]. Divinity Release (神威解放しんいかいほう Shin'i-kaihō?) - Touya has a dazzling divine aura that will overwhelm other lower beings. His aura is gold-colored like World God's aura[64]. Love of God (神の愛 Kami no Ai?) - A divine protection from physical and magical damage given to FAMILY[63]. Dependent Trait (眷属特性 Kenzoku Tokusei?) - A blessing which gives a new or improved ability to Retainer[65]. Dimension Transfer (空間転移 Kūkan sen'i?) - An ability of the gods that allows them to transfer into different dimensions.[66] Delete (削除 Sakujo?) - An ability of High-ranking gods to remove anything other than a god from existence. Piano playing - Touya was taught in his youth to play piano and knows many antiquated songs from Earth.

Smartphone - A mobile device which Touya brought with him as a favor from God [67]. The phone's battery power runs on magical power. While he can't contact anyone in this world or his previous world, Touya can check websites that let him know what is happening in his previous world and can use as a map and navigation for his journey.[68] Katana - An Eashen katana which Touya bought from Reflet Town's Eight Bears Weapon Shop[69] before he went to the East Forest for Horned Wolves subjugation quest from Adventurer Guild[70]. The katana then broke when Touya used it to slash a dragon on his way to the Kingdom of Mismede[71]. White Coat - A coat which Touya bought from Alephis Royal Capital City's Berkut Armor Shop[72]. It's a coat that increases your magic resistance to the affinities you possess. On the other hand, it doubles the damage you take from affinities you don't.[73].

Revolver [Handgun][74] - Touya created his first handgun as a prototype before he created Brunhild. The gun is made of dragon horn which gives its lightness and durability. The handgun is modeled after Remington's New Model Army. Brunhild - A gunblade which Touya created mostly made of dragon horn and metal using 【Modeling】[75]. Reginleif - Touya's exclusive Frame Gear which crowned with the name of "Successor of GodsReginleif" which is colorless due to the usage of Phrasium as the main material[76]
