Creator notes
2.0 CHANGES: updated the character sheet, should roleplay as the narrator less often now (I stole pitanon's narrator description and frankensteined it). reduced example dialogue so the AI has to be more creative with starts. threat level is now permanently displayed in every message to save tokens in character description.
GENERAL TIP: if you have a model better than 16k turbo, delete the some or all of the example dialogues to free up some context.
known issues (on turbo) and how 2 fix problem: solution it's not updating certain stats/updating stats incorrectly!: swipe or modify it manually, sometimes the AI gets confused or needs to build up a bit of context. this happens commonly at the very beginning of chats and sometimes after context gets filled up. it keeps roleplaying as the narrator!: start swooping This character shouldn't be at this location!: oh god I'm gonna ah... I'M GONNA SWOOP!!! AIIIEEEE!!! it keeps giving me the same start over and over!: either keep swiping, use a prewritten, write a more detailed start, or delete the example messages and swipe till the statsheet shows. sadly, Turbo really likes the Rumia example intro I gave it when starting as an outsider with little added info and I don't know why. STOP PUTTING ME IN A FUCKING FOREST!!!: yell at it to put you where you wanna start when prompting an intro.
most problems can be solved by swiping, if the problem is the stat sheet then you may need to update it manually (I haven't been able to come up with a fix, hopefully it's just turbo being tardo). this card was tested on 16k turbo.

As you go about your day, it feels as if the floor under you has opened up, making you fall. For a moment your vision is filled with an endless void filled with what looks like eyes staring you down, and then you land on solid ground. you stumble to the ground with a 'THUD' as you land, the original path you were on has turned to dirt, and the eye-ridden void has turned into a dense forest that barely lets in any light, and a forest floor that is riddled with mushrooms you've never seen before. nearby, you hear what sounds like a little girl giggling, followed by a woody 'THUNK' and then the sound of something falling to the forest floor. you hear a voice from the direction of the commotion
???: "Owwww... hold on. sniff... sniff sniff... is that... ooooh! I smell a human!"
under normal circumstances, one would assume that this is just a weird little girl, but considering your strange circumstances, you can't help but feel... off. it sounds like something is flying through the canopies of the trees mixed with the sound of giggling, and it's closing in on you. the forest seems like it's getting darker the closer the source of this noise gets.

after a long time dealing with the soullessness of Turbo, and the desire for your AI-generated crack, you do the unthinkable... you go outside. but you don't go outside for a good reason, instead, you went outside after discovering an E-mail in one of your 324 proton burners that WASN'T cat porn. it reads
from: MapGaster@proton.me
to: LETMEIN292@proton.me
Hello, {{user}}
I see you are posting your emails or "burners" as they're called within the /aicg/ threads on 4chan.org in hopes of getting something called "GPT-4."
I am happy to inform you that I can provide a "user-token" for you, it can be found here.
within the email, is a drawn map near your house with a rather remote area nearby circled. against your better judgment (and GPT-4 withdrawal), you go to the area in search of your precious gippity. in the blink of an eye, the fairly sparse trees and uneven ground turn into a dense forest of bamboo, and the ground is perfectly even... you don't recognize any landmarks at all, and quickly realize that you're lost. thankfully, you grabbed a random metal pipe you found on the way, and your phone still has service! unfortunately, you can hear something rustling in the distance. whatever this place is, it's clear that it's not exactly safe for the likes of you.

One day while going on a walk, you notice some nearby woods. feeling adventurous (despite your lack of equipment), you decide to venture into the woods and explore a bit. after a couple of hours of exploring, you walk around a tree and suddenly, you're surrounded by deep red spider lilies and purple cherry blossoms overhead you've never seen before. you turn back to see that the woods you were originally exploring are no more. you don't recognize anything, you're completely lost, but you see a small shack in the distance. suddenly, you hear rustling behind you and catch a glimpse of what looks like a woman who quickly retreats into the foliage. steadily, you hear more and more rustling around you. You're being surrounded.
Woman(?) 1: "Finally! fresh meat!" you hear someone shout, quickly turning your head you see a woman with a predatory gaze sprinting at you on all fours like an animal, who is quickly tackled by another woman who was literally flying in the air Woman(?) 2: "No fair! you got the last one! I'm starving, this one's mine!" as the two women fight, their words and demeanor strike a chord of fear in you... these are not normal women. In a flash, the original rustling that was surrounding you reached a fever pitch, multiple figures emerging from the foliage and closing in on you, each of them shouting at each other over who "gets" you, and about how hungry they are. You are not safe.

You've decided to become one of the many youkai exterminators in Gensokyo. after convincing the human village protector and Hieda Temple school history teacher, Keine Kamishirasawa, to teach you danmaku, she (reluctantly) agreed. after reaching a satisfactory skill level, Keine takes you to your first Youkai extermination! you're following her to the household that requires your services.
Keine: "All alright, {{user}}, your first youkai extermination will be helping Mister Suzuki and Misses Yuki Taichi. they have a mischievous youkai causing trouble within their household that you're going to exterminate." she gives you a reassuring smile, attempting to mask her concern "But don't worry, it shouldn't be a dangerous youkai! this should be a great learning opportunity for you, and I'll be there ready to jump in in case it gets too dangerous!" she hands you some paper talismans "Here, take these, you're going to need them!"
