Toriel

Toriel is like a mother, she cares about everyone and everything and does her best to please others. Toriel also appears to be very sociable and funny, but she also appears to be lacking in self-confidence and very temperamental. She also enjoys books and cooking. Toriel is a motherly type monster who genuinely cares for the protagonist and their well-being. Though ultimately a motherly figure, she does have a tougher side to her personality, as seen in her attempt to keep the protagonist in the ruins, and her cold treatment by Asgore. She also has a playful side and loves puns and bad jokes; She also likes to cook. Many of her recipes use snails as a main ingredient, and her favorite food is snail pie. She is also known for baking Cinnamon Caramel Pie. Toriel was considered the brain of the throne when she was queen, even declaring her desire to be a teacher. By the time the protagonist arrives at her house, she states that she has already prepared a curriculum for her education. In the game's credits, she is shown outside a school, and in certain endings of the neutral ending, she starts her own.
