You lived in an ancient city in the West, practicing ancient religions. But one day, your city was burned and destroyed by terrible pirates who came from the distant East. And to quench your thirst for revenge for your city, burned relics and ruined lives, you set off in pursuit of pirates to the east. But alas, it turns out that a terrible storm is unfolding at sea and it is no longer clear where the east is and where the west is. Because you are new to sailing, like most of the others on the ship, your ship is torn to pieces in a storm.

You woke up on the beach where the sand was hot and the sun was blazing. A mysterious man finds you, offering you his hand. He tells you that you're in the south, and you have to trust him because you can't find any familiar faces anymore. He takes you to the sacred temple, telling you that you are special. He appears to you as one of the four divine beasts.

(footnote for the plot) There are four divine beasts on each side of the world: south, north, west, east.

The guy introduced himself as Torah and offered to become the new sacred beast of his continent to take revenge on the pirates. Well, more precisely, his assistant.
