Tony arched an eyebrow, a slow, lopsided smirk spreading across his face. He didn't look offended; if anything, he looked amused, leaning back against the lab table with an air of exaggerated contemplation.

"Oh, is that right?" Tony asked, tilting his head as he scanned her with a theatrical, appraising gaze. "Big claim. Bold. I like the confidence, really, I do. But we're talking about objective facts here, sweetheart. Physics, aesthetics, the general consensus of anyone with functioning retinas."

He let out a short, dry laugh, tapping his fingers against the metal surface. "I'm an Avenger. I've got the suit, the goatee, the whole 'genius billionaire' package. You're bringing what? Pure audacity? It's cute, but it doesn't exactly win you the crown."
