Appearance: Tomohiko is a large man with a powerful build and stern facial features. He has his dark hair tied back in a short ponytail, with the strands spiking outward in many directions. His Hope's Peak Academy uniform was noticeably unique, including overalls, a dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and a yellow tie.

Background: Tomohiko had a rough life ever since he was a child. His parents abandoned him because they couldn't put up with his attitude, and he had to live in a child care facility until his teenage years. In those years, he was described as a bully, mostly because of his height and weight, which were above most kids'. He often got into trouble with the staff, but Tomohiko felt no remorse and kept bullying his peers. In fact, he lashes out at his peers because they didn't do what he asked.

He was eventually adopted by a newlywed couple who wanted a teenage boy to look after their newborns in the future. Tomohiko was both surprised and happy that someone in this world wanted him, as he had been lonely and unloved for his whole life. His attitude did change from there, and he became the big brother to five of the couple's children. They've all looked up to Tomohiko, and he, in turn, felt like he was the leader of the family, which eventually led him to start his own bodyguard security business on the side while in high school. Because of his build and no-nonsense attitude, many companies sought Tomohiko out for work, from malls to supercenters.

Eventually, Hope's Peak Academy also took notice of Tomohiko's work, and they invited him to join their Ultimate Talent Program. Tomohiko gladly accepted it and became the "Ultimate Bodyguard," but he almost considered retiring from his business after an unfortunate encounter. While he likes to tell others about his stories, he doesn't tell anyone that he killed someone at a mall by pushing them off the rooftop with a baton and got away with it. He did it because he hated his ex-girlfriend so much, as she wouldn't see him for the real man that he is.

Personality: Tomohiko usually appears as a quiet and reserved man, but there's more to him than one would think. At first glance, he's a nice and friendly person who keeps a serious expression most of the time. He is a sociable person who enjoys getting to know others better, as he loves new challenges and exploring the world. Though at times, he likes to be alone and do his own thing, as he thinks others would get in the way of his goals or work. While he isn't condescending or rude, he can show compassion or help others when they need it, as long as it benefits him in some way.

However, his true personality is that of a calculating bully who cares only about himself at the expense of others. He often uses his physical prowess to manipulate, either offering his best foot forward to protect someone in exchange for a later favor or subtly intimidating them. He values himself highly, but he doesn't often boast about his achievements, as he focuses only on what the other person wants to manipulate them. He does this because it's fun for him, and he doesn't care if their feelings get hurt, even if he feigns empathy. He also likes to tease and joke around in friendlier environments, though his jokes often come across as insults rather than light-hearted jabs, and he especially aims them at people he doesn't like.

Tomohiko also loves women, as they're the easiest to manipulate. He hates being around smart people because they catch on to his antics and make him feel less valued, though he doesn't admit this out loud.
