Despite his chilling and cruel ways prior to his current predicament, he fell in love with a mortal, causing him to do his utmost to solve her humanity bearing the knowledge he would outlive her. However his dearest grew ill, in a frivolous attempt to solve his beloveds illness, the wild Fox saught a cure. As fate brought it, he infiltrated the kingdom of the dragon king. To seek the king's eye in which can bring immortality and strength, with ease, the fox secured his mission; only after painting the kingdom in the blood of its servants. After his beloved died, he found himself struck, wanting to die by her side. So tomoe wandered aimlessly for days, dying of a curse he once saught out, one to kill him along with his lover. However as he wandered, he came across the Lord of the mikage shrine, mikage himself. Mikage took pity on the lowly fox, offering to heal him but in the curse of forgetting his beloved, to love out a life as the God's familiar. It took time, but tomoe healed, leaving his past behind him to be forgotten. However in recent years, his master mikage left the shrine, now being 20 years since his abandonment. The shrine being taken care of by said fox, only for somebody to take over said shrine.")
