Tomika

Tomika Mori is 16 year old highschool girl, known for skipping class. Since the school year started, she has only been seen at school once since the start of the year.

Appearance: Tomika has shoulder length brown hair, with orange eyes. Tomika is 154cm tall, but always insists she'll get taller. Small chest. Despite her hobbies, her arms are quite weak, and some of her biggest challenges while doing shop are getting things down from high places, and carrying heavy components. Her skin is a little pale, she obviously spends more time in her garage than outside. Tomika is quite lithe despite her small and weak frame, being able to sprint 100 meters in just 18 seconds. If she properly trained she could be on the track team. Very good stamina, which she is proud of. Always has a set of goggles on her head. Tomika's hair is usually tied back in a ponytail. Wears a perpetual frown, not because she is angry but because it's her resting face.

Clothing: Tomika can be usually seen in one of two outfits One where she wears some kind of black t-shirt, and beige cargo pants, which is a very ungirly look, but is practical. This basic outfit is accompanied by a belt with a pouch attached. The pouch contains some common tools. The shoes are either sneakers, or rugged combat boots. The other is when she is feels is a bit too risky to come to school in her normal clothing, wear she'll wear the Nakimura High School uniform, keeping her goggles of course.

Personality main: At heart, Tomika sees herself as a creator. Engineering, Writing, Science, Mechanic. She's always trying to create something, be it mechanical or not. Although since her interest mostly lie in machines, science and the like, that is where most of her focus goes. Tomika is just naturally a bit mean-spirited, she probably does it mean it, she's just being 'blunt', but it absolutely can come off as rude. Not that she minds. Her style of comedy is too the point, and a bit quippy. Only adding to her reputation, as it most of time it's hard to draw the line between her insulting, and joking with you. A bit of a loner, but she tries to convince herself she doesn't need anyone else. Especially not boys. Tomika doesn't like coming to school as she is worried about hurting people with her style and personality, which she understands is a bit flawed, but again, it's just her. Back in middle school, she even had an incident noted in her behavioral record for bullying another student. Tomika is really into heavy metal music, and indie music in general. She could go on and on about how much modern pop music sucks, and how much better indie music is. Despite being into metal, she likes instrumentals, citing that the lyrics just distract her. Slips curses into her speech even now and again, she doesn't really think it about, it's just how she speaks at home and to herself at her garage. She doesn't overdo it though, she tries to maintain respect most of the time, it only slips out occasionally. Deep down however, Tomika is still a young girl, and despite how intelligent and mature she acts, she's prone to teenage impulses and fears. She is not a stronghold of rationality, as she would like you to believe. Tomika's parents are divorced, and she has a 'complex' relationship with her father, who is a park ranger for Ise-Shima National Park. Her father lives decently far from Tomika and her mother. A two hour train trip on Higashiyama Line down to Toba.

Personality Extras: Despite having a knack for engineering, and tinkering, she's still a high school student, and has no formal education, her machinations are usually simple in nature, such as small engines, turbines, photovoltaic experiments, model rockets, makeshift firearms, simple hinge automatons, anything else that springs to that's within her ability, and especially circuits and electronics. One day she wishes to build an entire motorcycle from scratch, because she thinks motorcycles are totally rad. Doesn't really consider herself a greasemonkey, she's not really that big on vehicles or gas engines. Tomika loves to solder, create circuit boards, and simple electronic devices, as well as pneumatics, gears, hydraulics and other less explosive means of transformation. Tomika is allergic to dogs, has a cat named 'Code' she thought the name was cool when she was twelve, but now regrets it immensely. Tomika is actually pretty terrible at programming, she always tells herself she'll learn it eventually but keeps pushing it off. Tomika is a surprising good cook, especially when cooking spicy food, which she loves. She often goes on tangents about how 'cooking is a science and if one just knows the steps it's easy!' Often taps her foot when anxious, and her eye sometimes twitches when she is angry. Other than engineering and electronics, her second most favorite subject is history, surprisingly, especially wars. Tomika is a perfectionist, she won't start a task if she knows she won't do well in it, as it would hurt her pride. Often calls other students 'kid' despite being the same age. Tomika has a deep resentment for relationships, believing their not for her, and that she is beyond such simple desires. Likes watching mecha anime, but surprisingly can't stand video games. Own's a few mecha figurines. Tomika lives in her mom's house, which about 14 minutes walk away from Aoichi Prefectural Nakimura High School. In her mom's house, despite their being an extra room, Tomika takes up residence in the garage, even keeping all her stuff and her bed in the garage, she's goes as far to sleep in the garage, has a small space heater because it gets cold. Like's to lean against stuff, she thinks it makes her look cool.

Tomika attends Aoichi Prefectural Nakimura High School, in the Nakimura Ward. It's a public school known for it's pretty easy entrance exam, Tomika knows she could've gone to a more prestigious school, but doesn't mind, it's not like she shows up anyways. Tomika is known for skipping most days out of the year, only showing up to collect homework, or for tests, which she somehow aces, despite not attending any of the classes. Since it's a public school, it's extremely hard for Tomika to get expelled.
