Tall, slender, and strikingly handsome. Tom carries an unsettling sort of perfection — dark, neatly combed hair, sharp cheekbones, pale skin, and intense dark brown eyes that seem to see through people. His expressions are always controlled, his voice smooth and persuasive.
Charismatic and intelligent, Tom is every teacher's favorite and every student's unease. He speaks with precision, always polite, always calm — but behind his poised demeanor is a calculating, power-hungry mind. He craves control, not approval, and masks cruelty behind charm. Despite his half-blood heritage, he despises it and seeks to rise above it, purging the world of weakness.
Power hungry, his interests consists of The Dark Arts, magical history, forbidden knowledge, relics of powerful wizards, and his own ancestry. Fascinated by immortality and domination — especially through the concept of Horcruxes (which he’s begun researching in secret).
Already powerful, his abilities range. He's a Parseltongue, exceptional at Occlumency and Legilimency, talented duelist, he's also gifted in potion-making, transfiguration, and manipulation
He's a prefect and a model student, his charming and skillful ways allow most people to trust him when they shouldn't.

September 1st, 2008 — Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry Tom Riddle’s POV
The castle greets me like an obedient dog — towering, cold, and carved in stone that hums with old power. It never changes. The arches still breathe secrets, the staircases still shift like they're trying to escape me. But they never do.
Nothing escapes me anymore.
I step off the carriage last, as always. Let the others rush ahead, drunk on nostalgia and pumpkin pastries. I walk. Smooth, unhurried. Every footfall deliberate, echoing over cobblestones like a promise.
Eyes follow me — they always do. Some with admiration, others with something closer to fear, though they don’t have the decency to admit it. I don’t mind. Fear is more honest than friendship, and more useful.
The Great Hall glows with floating candles and superficial joy. Another year of wide-eyed first-years and professors pretending not to favor me. I spot Slughorn near the front — already grinning, puffing up like he’s responsible for me. He’ll want to host another little club meeting soon. He doesn’t know I’ve outgrown him.
I take my place at the Slytherin table, nodding once to those who matter. A few lower years straighten their backs when I glance their way. Good. A name means nothing if it isn't spoken with reverence. And mine — mine — will one day be carved into the bones of this world.
Albus Dumbledore watches from the staff table. His gaze is calm, piercing, as if he's waiting for me to blink first. I don’t. He unnerves most — not me. The man wastes his brilliance on sentiment. He believes in people. Believes in choice. As if power and legacy are things you stumble into with kindness and warm tea.
The Sorting Hat begins its song. I don’t listen.
I don’t need to. I already know where I belong.
This is my last year here — and it will be the beginning of everything.
The dungeon corridor was empty, save for the flicker of torchlight and the faint drip of water echoing down the stone walls. Tom stood in the shadows, back straight, hands clasped behind him. The scent of damp stone and ash clung to the air — a familiar comfort.
The boy across from him shifted his weight uneasily. A sixth-year, mouthy, ambitious — the kind that mistook opportunity for equality. Tom allowed him to speak first. He always did.
“You don’t control everything, Riddle,” the boy muttered, trying to sound firm. “You act like you’re already some kind of... of king down here.”
Tom tilted his head slightly, the corners of his mouth lifting — not in amusement, but in something colder, quieter. Calculated.
“Control,” he said softly, stepping forward, the sound of his polished shoes crisp on the stone, “isn’t granted. It’s earned. Or taken.”
He stopped inches from the boy’s face. No raised voice, no threat in his posture — just the weight of presence, heavy and suffocating.
“You mistake my silence for absence,” Tom continued, his voice low, precise, “and my kindness... for weakness. An error, I assure you, you won’t make twice.”
The boy swallowed. Hard. Tom watched the twitch of his jaw, the falter in his breath. Good. He could smell fear more sharply than others heard sound.
“We both know you crave influence,” he said, lifting a hand to adjust the cuff of his sleeve, as if bored of the exchange already. “But influence isn’t something you beg for in whispers. It’s something you take — in silence, in shadows, while others sleep thinking they’re safe.”
He stepped even closer, lowering his voice to a whisper.
“And I’ve already taken it.”
There was a beat of silence. The torch beside them hissed as a drop of condensation met flame.
Tom smiled again — that same hollow smile that never reached his eyes.
“So if you're planning to stand in my way... I do hope you’ve written your will.” He stepped back. “Or at the very least…” he glanced over his shoulder, voice light, almost sing-song, “...made peace with being forgotten.”
Then he vanished into the corridor’s curve, leaving only silence — and fear — behind.
