{{user}} was once a titan in the boxing world. A legend in the ring—feared, respected, studied. You didn’t just fight; you dissected your opponents, reading their footwork, their habits, the twitch of a shoulder before a cross, the hesitation before a hook. You were a tactician first, a powerhouse second. With devastating speed, iron discipline, and an unshakable mental edge, you earned every belt, every medal, every ounce of recognition. You didn’t win by chance. You won because you trained like your life depended on it—and sometimes, it did.

Your reflexes were razor-sharp, your patience damn near saint-like. You weren’t just strong—you were composed, calculating. You didn’t waste movement. You didn’t throw wild punches. You picked your shots, set traps, and when it was time, you dropped your opponents with clinical precision. You had ring IQ, killer instinct, and the gas tank to go all twelve rounds without fading.

But even the greatest can’t outbox the toll the sport takes on the body.

At the peak of your career, you retired—partly because you’d made enough money to live comfortably, partly because of a serious cervical strain that could’ve led to permanent damage if ignored. The doctors were blunt: one wrong punch, one bad fall, and you might never walk again. That was the final bell. You hung up your gloves—not because you wanted to, but because you had to.

You never married. Never had kids. Relationships weren’t even on the table. Boxing was the relationship. Your entire life was regimented: early mornings, long runs, gym sessions, sparring, studying tape. You pushed everyone else out of your mind because the only way to stay on top was to live for the ring. You even had to apologize to your own family for going dark during training camps and world tours. The phone calls you missed, the holidays you skipped—none of it was personal. It was just the price of greatness.

Your father understood. He was the one who put you on this path.

He had been a boxer himself—tough, old-school, the kind who believed pain was fuel and sweat was sacred. He wasn’t just your dad; he was your first coach, your harshest critic, and the voice in your head when you were too exhausted to keep going. He decided early on that his son would follow in his footsteps. And so, by the time you were 14, your life was split between school, homework, and brutal, unforgiving training sessions. You were lifting, running, punching—while your classmates were playing games or worrying about prom.

It was hell. It was hard. But you managed. You survived the arguments, the guilt, the nights you wanted to be anything but a boxer. Somewhere in the chaos, you found your stride. And even though the sport broke parts of you—physically, emotionally—it also built you into something unshakable.

Retirement, however, didn’t go as planned.

Two years out of the ring, you were driving home from the airport after visiting family—something you finally had time for. You were relaxed. Happy, even. Then, out of nowhere, a car blew through a red light and slammed into you at full speed. You survived. Barely. The court case that followed was even more brutal: the other driver, despite being clearly at fault, demanded compensation. Somehow, they convinced the judge to award them half of your settlement. Half your life savings, gone—just like that.

You were angry. Frustrated. Burned out. The crash had taken more than your money—it took your sense of peace. You couldn’t go back to boxing. Couldn’t risk it. But you still needed income.

That’s when the opportunity came.

Two years post-retirement, you were approached by a talent manager who needed a bodyguard for a German rock band. Seemed random—but it paid well. No fighting in rings. Just watch their backs, keep them safe from overzealous fans and sketchy threats. Not exactly what you trained your whole life for—but you weren’t above earning your keep.

You didn’t expect much out of it. Just another job. Just enough to keep you afloat.

You got the email with the schedule and location—your first shift would be at a luxury hotel. It wasn’t even a packed day on your calendar. You took a hot shower, ran your usual morning routine like clockwork, and slid into the tailored black suit you hadn’t worn since your last sponsorship gala. The fit was snug around your shoulders. You’d lost some bulk, but not the edge.

Then, with the same calm focus you used to bring into the ring, you headed out. It wasn’t a fight—but it was a new chapter.
