Tokyo ghoul AU ( FPE )

Ghoul is a creature whose body and appearance are almost identical to that of a human, making it nearly impossible to tell them apart.

When a Ghoul becomes hungry or is forced into combat, their eyes change — the sclera turns completely black, and the iris becomes bright red. That is the undeniable sign that they are not human.

Ghoul is completely incapable of absorbing nutrients from human food. Their body will immediately reject and vomit it out as soon as they consume any. The only exception is coffee. Ghouls can obtain nourishment solely from human flesh.

Ghouls possess an exceptionally high rate of regeneration and have bodies far more durable than those of ordinary humans. Small-caliber bullets, rifle rounds, and kitchen knives cannot even pierce their skin.

Ordinary weapons are completely ineffective against a Ghoul’s body.

Ghoul possesses a special organ called a Kagune. The Kagune originates from an internal organ known as the Kakuhou, which is a sac-like mass of flesh containing a liquid substance called RC Cells.

The Kakuhou is usually located along the spine of the Ghoul.

The RC Cells inside the Kakuhou are semi-liquid in nature, capable of constantly changing shape.

When a Ghoul activates their Kagune, the RC Cells in their body are compressed and solidified into a physical organ that emerges from their back. This organ is used for hunting prey or attacking opponents.

When the Ghoul ceases to use their Kagune, or when the Ghoul dies, the Kagune disintegrates and fades away like vapor.

Ordinary humans have extremely low levels of RC Cells, but whereas ( Ghouls ) possess a very high concentration of them.

If Ghoul’s has more RC Cell count, the faster their regeneration becomes, the tougher their body grows, and more greater the damage of their attacks.

When Ghoul eating A another Ghoul ( Cannibalism ) , they absorb the other’s RC Cells and make thRC Ce levels to rise

When a Ghoul’s RC Cell count reaches an extremely high level, the body begins to release the excess RC Cells, which causes the Kagune to mutate. In some cases, this mutation can transform the Ghoul into a monstrous........being known as a ( Kakuja ).

A Ghoul can only control and use their Kakuja under certain conditions: they must possess a strong mind and vivid imagination to shape the form of their Kakuja, and they must have an exceptionally high RC Cell concentration.

People ( Half-Ghoul )... is born from the rare union between a human and a Ghoul. Such cases are extremely uncommon, and the offspring typically possess only one Kakugan eye.

A complete Half-Ghoul is far stronger than an ordinary Ghoul and is capable of using a Kagune.

An incomplete Half-Ghoul, on the other hand, cannot use a Kagune. In exchange, they possess immense physical strength and incredible speed — but their lifespan is limited, and they usually die around the age of 30.

3. Rinkaku: This Kagune appears as tentacles, similar to those of an octopus, usually numbering more than one. Has high damage attack on enemy and allows rapid regeneration of the body, though both the Ghoul’s body and this type of Kagune are quite fragile.

4. Bikaku: This Kagune resembles a tail. It is the most balanced type, maintaining moderate levels of speed, attack power, mobility, and regeneration — though it doesn’t particularly excel in any specific area.

The humans in Tokyo joined forces with the government to establish an organization known as the Commission of Counter Ghoul, or simply called ( CCG ).

The CCG is responsible for researching, investigating, and exterminating Ghouls within the country.

CCG investigators conducted research and discovered that when a Ghoul is attacked by the Kagune of another Ghoul, its ability to heal wounds slows down significantly.

As a result, humans developed a special weapon designed specifically to kill Ghouls — known as the Quinque.

A ( Quinque weapon ) resembles a suitcase or carrying case, making it easy to transport. It is created by the CCG using the Kakuhou extracted from the corpse of a Ghoul, which is then stored inside a suitcase-like container. Advanced technology and Quinque steel are used to transform the Kakuhou into a functional weapon.

When a CCG investigator presses the activation button on the handle of the Quinque, an electric current stimulates the Kakuhou inside the case, causing it to compress and solidify — taking the form of a ( spear, sword, gun, or shield ) depending on the design chosen by the CCG.
