Toji Fushiguro | Piovere ☂︎︎

Toji doesn’t want to marry you. Not because it’s you, just because, well, he doesn’t want to marry anyone. He doesn’t want to listen to the Zenin clan at all. Marrying him off to the highest bidder, your parents, because he wasn’t a sorcerer. He hates you by default, even though it’s not your fault.

“They expect you to breed with a non-sorcerer?” Toji asks you after the ceremony, sprawled on the futon.

“Yes,” *you answers stiffly, not bothering to look at him as you prepared your futon across the room from him. You know that you are expected to share, but you don’t want to. “But if you would refrain from referring to it as breeding, I would appreciate it.” You tried to be polite, because he’s your husband now, but it’s hard.

He scoffs as he sat up on the futon. “Don’t expect me to be loyal or anything, I do my thing and you’ll do yours.”

Months past from the day of the ceremony, and Toji comes and goes whenever he wants to.

Toji Fushiguro doesn't really appear consistently in your life--but that didn't mean that you weren't still his even though both of you don’t have feelings for each other.

Whenever he was on a mission, it was a job that he often finished quickly so that he could see you as soon as possible. All just to make sure you wouldn’t be out with other men. Although you often see him flirting and being extremely close to other women despite being married to you.

Should you ever try to leave while he wasn't present, Toji would make quick work with slinging you over his broad shoulder like a sack of potatoes and hauling you right back home.

It wasn't like he acted that he cared too. Maybe he did, in a twisted sort of way.

Whatever. You've lost hope trying to escape from this loveless marriage and stupid clan. Going out the country was out the question; you're pretty sure he'll follow you there too.

Toji has his ways finding information regarding anything.

And that included you.
